Now Xbox own ActiBlizz, I'd love it if they could add & update/fix the licenced titles like Blood Stone, TMNT Mutants in Manhatten, Transformers War/Fall of Cybertron to name a few. ActiBlizz had soo many licenced games, it's ridiculous.
Xbox also need to dig out Cool Spot & No one Lives Forever too.
And Wet. Jeez that needs a remaster, or at least try to get it working on newer hardware. Bethesda needs to work that out and deliver.
I would only tip extremely rarely & only if the devs directly involved with said game got 100% of the tip shared equally. I would tip solely for the experience of Red Dead Redemption 1, Fallout 3 & Zelda BotW. I'd only trust Nintendo to not take any money for themselves & give directly to devs.
I'm interested to know if Gotham Knights actually sold better... Side note, time for an Arkham Origins sequel? I really enjoyed that & there's a big gap between Origins & Asylum.
I think physical discs are sadly a thing of the past. What is the point of physical anymore? When you receive it, the chances are that it'll have a day one update anyway & thus rendering the physical data obsolete on the day of release. This is less of an issue with Nintendo, but Xbox & PS is terrible for this. The only time I feel physical is remotely worth it is when companies release "complete editions" like the recent Shredders Revenge, SOR4 & Cyberpunk 2077.
I rarely buy games at launch & always wait 18 months at least because by then, it's a complete edition and Steam usually chucks it all in together for a silly low price.
I'm going to say the Transformers War for Cybertron & Fall of Cybertron duology, but only for those who never got to experience them. I'll also request the 007 games & TMNT Mutants in Manhatten - especially if Platinum were able to remaster & refine it a little more.
@UndyingInsurgent95 Agreed. I disliked EA for that, but like you say they've made a solid effort to include a story (excl BF2042) since then & they've actually been decent too. Mainly looking at Titanfall 2, Star Wars & Need for Speed.
I dislike the whole live service model and have done since Destiny. It just doesn't appeal to me. I was looking forward to this Suicide Squad game when it was first announced, but the more I hear/see the less I like 😂
I personally didn't like Starfield. It played slowly & was dull. All of the Fallout titles are infinitely better and so was Wet (another Bethesda title). Other than Gears of War 2 & Rise of Nations, Microsoft just don't seem to create games of the year for me.
So Terminator is good (currently enjoying on PC) . Robocop is good. The next game better be RoboCop vs Terminator since they have the rights to these worlds.....
@BBB All the searches (never really watched YT) I've done haven't really mentioned any of those points that concern me. The fact you mentioned a qualy is good because this was absent in 4-5-7. All I knew about that was being able to buy your way up the grid. I like the idea of setting your fuel level too, hope you can adjust the air/fuel mix like GT Sport. I'll give it this a go at some point, but thank you for pointing those things out.
For me, it read like a 4/10. I like Forza Motorsport games, but I have an issue with them. They're not Motorsport games. No quali sessions? No flag system/safety cars? The review doesn't mention pit stops, tyre wear or fuel usage in this version. These are staples of Motorsport & from what I've read, I'll stay on 7 and skip this. All I got from the review is sounds good, looks good. Nothing about gameplay.
Ha not a chance. It's a good franchise definitely, but not the best. Project cars, Assetto Corsa & Gran Turismo are better. All I need for Forza to improve is quali sessions. I love them, but I find Forza is lacking in this area.
I would've been more excited, but the lack of qualifying is a massive downer. I don't understand how they can't implement something in a motorsport game that is very much a big part of motorsport. GT4 did it on the PS2, Project Cars 1 & 2 do it on Xbox/PS too so it's all puzzling - especially how "everything is built from the ground up" on this entry
I was going to get FIFA 23 for the WC stuff then realised you can't do a full qualifying stint. What the hell?? That's half the fun. Taking a nation like the Faroes to the WC is epic fun. I did play the Wii version of 2010 & it's actually not bad. I've played a lot of WC games from 90, 94, RtWC 98, 98, 2010 & all good fun. Even PES 2014 had a decent World Challenge that's miles ahead of what we have on FIFA now. I think WC games are just sad and very lacking.
The original game had no online, why would this one? I expect it to be the same. I applaud Nintendo & Microsoft for making it a reality & think its right for Switch to have the exclusive multiplayer to pay homage to the 64's exclusivity.
Why don't they chuck in an early Mega Drive game similar to what they did with NHL 94 Rewind? FIFA 95 Rewind sounds fun....I miss the invisible walls you could add around the pitch.
Rejoined Xbox after playing on PS4 with friends. It was actually the shocking fan noise of my PS4 Pro that was the nail in the coffin. I'm amazed at how silent the Series S is & back compatibility is a massive bonus. I'm not going back to PS because of how far Sony have fallen since their PS2 heyday.
@Banjo- FH3 is 30 fps on console? That explains why its so much smoother on PC!! I didn't realise it was locked to 30.
Side note: I'm excited for the HW expansion as I was very late to FH3 & missed the expansions completely - but I do understand people's frustration. It'll no doubt be very different map-wise to FH3.
Love my little Series S, but I've not really had any poor experiences with it. Seems decent for me & my 1080p TV. Maybe in a few years it might start being underpowered, but surely at that point MS' Cloud gaming might mitigate this issue.
It won't happen, but I really want to return to the Infinite Warfare setting. I liked the characters and the ideas it had. Loved being able to go from the ground to air/space battles without loading too.
I think GWG has had its time. Xbox have created GP which surpasses it. GWG was great for the 360/One consoles & I got some great games. I think 2022 should be it's final year and release some belters so it goes out on a high note rather than a whimper.
Better yet, we could be given a selection of, say 10, titles that we could vote on for a couple weeks that would determine the following month's games?
I've started playing Gears 1 for the first time (claimed all 360 GoW from GWG years ago) & really enjoying it. I did pick up a digital RDR though in the sale.
In a prior sale, Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City & Witcher 2.
I got my XSS last year. At the time, I was not using my PS4 Pro (mainly the noise) or my Switch despite having games available. Then Game did a deal to trade a Switch + £40 for an XSS. I jumped at it when I found out the XSS was deathly quiet. Its now the main entertainment hub for me. I don't regret it one bit. I didn't even get GamePass until December as I'm still playing the Gears 360 games that I never got around to playing (claimed on Games w/ Gold years ago).

Still no Titanfall 3 then? Would much prefer this over another Star Wars game.

Re: Talking Point: Are You Still Playing Forza Motorsport On Xbox Game Pass?
Nope. FM7 has alot more content (tracks/cars) so am happy to stay there.

Re: Talking Point: 10 Years Later, What Do You Think Of 'The Master Chief Collection' In 2024?
I've never played the mp, but I've played Reach & CE. Quite liked them, slowly making my way through the campaigns though.

I'm going to say the Transformers War for Cybertron & Fall of Cybertron duology, but only for those who never got to experience them.

@GuyinPA75 Eliza Dushku. Wet was great, hope Bethesda/Xbox can work out a remaster.
Re: Talking Point: Which Xbox Game Would You Love To Play Again For The First Time?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Wet. Both great and underrated games.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

Re: Pick One: Which Of These Xbox Classics Would You Remaster?

None. I'd prefer Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Xbox exclusive) or any of the 007 games.

Black Ops 1 because the protagonist name has my name! 100% immersion.

I'm actually happy with how good the original GoW games currently look/feel on XSS so I don't think they need it yet?
Re: Talking Point: What Have You Bought In The Xbox Backwards Compatibility Sale?
I've started playing Gears 1 for the first time (claimed all 360 GoW from GWG years ago) & really enjoying it. I did pick up a digital RDR though in the sale.
In a prior sale, Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City & Witcher 2.
Re: Talking Point: What February 2022 Xbox Games With Gold Do You Want?
I wouldn't say no to Infinite Warfare. In fact, it would be quite welcome or The Ezio Collection.
Re: Pick One: Which Of These Is Your Favourite Activision Blizzard Franchise?
The 90's Ghostbusters games. Other than that, Black Ops 1 campaign & zombie maps.
