Xbox is slowly but surely returning in the EU. More and more friends around me are buying an Xbox again after only owning PS4 consoles last gen. 360 days may come back if everything is going smoothly from here on out.

Jedi Fallen Order for me. First Star Wars game that got the gameplay right imo.

@InterceptorAlpha tbf the frequency of availability for Series X seems to be better in the last couple of weeks. We might see Series X regularly on shelves soon if the rumors about Microsoft paying for chip priority are true.

Looks fun but Xbox exclusives seem to have some weird aversion against single player experiences lmao

@ParsnipHero I'm just getting frustrated a bit. I've been hearing the same song from Xbox since the One days. Everybody is always saying "It will be better next year" or "Just wait for E3" and it never happens with Xbox. They had a small high with FH5 and Halo infinite in the end of last year but they already lost that momentum since then imo. Now we are in march and there are no games to be seen. Things like Hitman Trilogy, Mass Effect trilogy and Guardians of the Galaxy for Game Pass is great and all but those are games that already were out and are available everywhere. I'm not really seeing this is a win except maybe for a small minority that hasn't played those games yet or couldn't afford it before. Doesn't help that Sony is moneyhatting third party games here and there which makes the situation even more dire.

It feels more and more like Microsoft doesn't know what they're doing. People leaving the Initiative left and right. 343 also had development issues and still has issues with delivering future content. No games in the next 9 months besides Starfield (if it doesn't get delayed, which it probably will). And we probably have to wait until June to hear about anything coming in 2023. But hey GamePass is great, am I right?

mhh this getting an exclusive PlayStation state of play makes me think this might get a timed exclusivity, maybe 1 or 2 years?

@Rural-Bandit At this point I just think this hypothetical future will come in the end of this console generation, which is just sad because we already had one whole console generation of nothing.

Oof... May? That's a long time and we got no games ahead of us. Again, delaying Stalker was a big hit. All that is coming is Tunic and while that game looks nice it's not something that is appealing to the masses. I'm afraid Starfield is the only game we will get this year from Xbox...

Of course this is coming to Xbox. Sony is only money hatting the big japanese Square Enix games. The new Valkyrie game seems to be in that category while we get the small strategy jrpg.

I own a few 8bitDo Controllers for Switch/PC. The quality is pretty good with 8bitDo controllers.

This might be my favorite game of all time. I need to play it a few more times just to be sure but my first 90 hours were freakin awesome. Currently 5 hours into my second run and it still delivers. Performance on my end was good but I have a freesync monitor so I don't really notice any framedrops.

Why does it matter? Both look good. And both are fun (I'm assuming GT is fun, I've never played it). I'm looking forward to the new Forza game, hopefully this year

Nope. And I probably never will unless the price drops immensely. I just plugged in my 5 TB external HDD and move around games when I want to play them.

I might be wrong but I have a hunch that FromSoftware will be the next one in line making deals with Sony to exclude Xbox. Elden Ring might be the last FromSoft game on Xbox for all we know.

Ok? Japanese games like Final Fantasy 7 remake and 16 skipping Xbox sure helps with that relationship

And here we go again. Every time a Fromsoft game releases this discussion happens. Can't people just accept that not every game is for everyone? It caters to a specific audience just as every game does.

Well, Xbox offered 6000 Reward points if I buy the game digitally and that's what I did. I still buy physical games here and there but it mostly is digital nowadays especially if I get free reward points for it.

Yea I can live without a new CoD for one year. In fact I'd be happier with a 2 years cycle.

@Medic_Alert Kind of to be expected since Sony initially didn't even plan for PS4 games to be playable on PS5. This whole system on PlayStation just feels rushed and not well thought out.

Yea, definitely sounds like they either didn't bother much with the Series S or didn't have enough time/budget to do it. Either way sucks for the Series S owners.

Honestly it's time to discontinue gold and instead focus completely on Game Pass. Charging for online always sucked and even makes less sense now to have a separate subscription alongside Game Pass. They should make online free and people still will subscribe to Game Pass because of its incredible value.

@Martsmall they're constantly moving the goalpost. Now that 20 million people played Halo Infinite the argument goes from "Halo Infinite is dead" to "It should have higher numbers". They won't ever shut up.

@EquiinoxGII This would be a sad reality and I wouldn't know if I even want to buy/play on a PlayStation or Nintendo console, I don't like or agree with their practices. I like Xbox for their games, their consumer friendliness and their hardware. Not having an Xbox hardware where I can play games on would probably drive me away from Game Pass.

If they find the right developer for it, hell yes!

@101Force in comparison Microsoft with the Activision Blizzard purchase has 30-40 developers in their pocket.

@abe_hikura Yep. The same has been the case with Bethesda contrary to what PS Fanboys want you to believe. Microsoft never forcefully buys gaming developers/publishers.

@Nic-Noc20th-C Since Sega and Microsoft have a very good relationship right now (just look at Yakuza) Project Diva might actually be not that unrealistic. Just depends on when the next Diva game releases or if they just port the PS4 or Switch game to Xbox.

This Year seems to turn from Xbox has many exclusives to none at all very quickly. If Stafield gets delayed too Playstation will destroy Xbox in 2022. Welp, gotta wait for 2023 then I guess?

I have yet to encounter a 4k movie disc that doesn't run well on my Series X. And I buy/watch 4K movies regularly.

There is no justification for being rude or toxic to another person, regardless of if it's in person or hidden behind anonymity online. I don't see a problem with bans across platforms. Just be nice to others, simple as that.

@Snake_V5 It was from when Phil Spencer took over Xbox. Satya asked him if he thinks it's worth it to invest time and money into Xbox or if they should stay away from gaming from now on. Phil answered it would be stupid for Microsoft to abandon gaming since it's the biggest entertainment market there is and if Microsoft really wants to stay in gaming he needs the full support of Microsoft behind Xbox.

Insane how one Hardware reveal event almost killed the Xbox Brand. Big ups to Satya Nadella for trusting in Phil, the Xbox team and in Xbox. It would be a sad world to live in where Sony would be the only console manufacturer (except Nintendo of course, they are doing their own thing)

@Jarobusa It was on sale just recently. Heck last week I got the game at my local videogame store for 12 bucks. Shouldn't be difficult to find the game for a decent price nowadays

If it's at least 100$ cheaper then yes. Last physical game I bought was back in 2013. But it's now worth not having a physical drive if it's almost the same price as the one with it.
