Fun game. Got it on PC. Definitely prefer the classic DND games, dragons crown and towerborne over absolum. Art is great. I’ll burn out on the rogue lite mechanics if progression isn’t steady though. Hopefully can easily cross play with my brother on switch 2.
Odd it’s not on Xbox. I figured developing for the pc makes it easier to port to Xbox.
I enjoy it. Huge skateboarding fan and the controls are great. Don’t really care that it’s free to play or online only. Been making my own skate parts. I probably prefer skater xl over this but Skate is new and I’ve put in hundreds of hours into skater xl.
Tony hawk Pro Skater I can’t get into anymore. Feels more like a fighting game. I love the flick it controls because it feels like really skating. I tried session a ton and every time it felt different than before. It’s okay but it feels sluggish.
@nomither6 1 more ring, 3 more mvps, 5 years straight in top 2 for MVP voting, only player to be top 3 in points, rebounds and assists for a season. Then you can look at the advanced stats. Not sure how he's overrated?
Damn one of the top five reasons I bought a series X was because of this game. Loved Rare since Battletoads. Was hoping for a Viva Piñata/ Sea of Thieves game. Sucks to kill an entire project that’s been worked on for so long. Can’t comprehend how that feels.
Beta was okay. Explosives like boom and frags seemed nerfed. I’ll have to try it on my pc directly linked because the shots weren’t adding up which is a gears of war 1 staple. Map choices were okay. Gridlock is one of my favorite mp maps of all time. Ravens doesn’t work with team death match with spawn swaps on such a small map. Gold rush is pretty much go top and get torque bow and it’s easy to camp spawns. Team death match is also for only social gaming waiting for your team to get online. Gears is about getting power weapons and with respawns you just camp.
B. I get the approach with showing mostly first party games coming in the next six months. But Xbox has so many games in limbo and have so many studios I was hoping for a bit more. Grounded 2, Keeper and Ninja Gaiden 4 were my favorite reveals.
Beat the game yesterday. Really fun. Good pacing on missions besides 1 or 2 that dragged on. Medieval theme fit really well. Would love a coop/multiplayer update.
I still buy games. If a game on game pass has a premium upgrade I usually get it. I ditched the ps4 for a multitude of reasons and came back to pc and xbox platform. Love that they connect seamlessly. Game pass helps pay for development cost on games. It also gets games a bigger audience. So much of this world is unsustainable and we focus on game pass? More games are being made than ever before with lower barriers of entry for independent developers. Games are supposed to be fun. Why do I care about the business of it all when one of the biggest corporations is spearheading it? Even if gamepass ended tomorrow it’s not going to stop people from making games. People get hired and fired everyday and it’s a dream of most to work in a “creative” industry. Plenty of jobs out there but with probably less pay. Don’t blame game pass for that, this version of capitalism is unsustainable and game pass is a mere fraction of that.
I usually watch it with a fresh pot of coffee with my partner. I’ve done face time with some friends too. Haven’t missed one since the original series X.
If it has Xbox store and Steam there is a good chance I’ll get one. There are quite a few games I just want to play in handheld. Fiancé loves her steam deck.
It’s the best console I’ve ever owned. Slowly stopped playing my switch and laptop. Took four years to get me back to pc gaming. Most of my friends that talk on mic are on xbox.
Tried getting a preordered and the sites were as buggy as when I tried to preorder the Series X. I waited in line for the X. I’ll find a switch in the wild and grab it. Mostly for Mario Kart and my siblings/nephews/nieces only game on Nintendo.
I bought the early access on steam last year. Super happy it's on xbox and really easy to link accounts. Couldn't get my buddies to really dive deep in it but I love it. Super easy to jump in and do a challenge or grind for hours. Just unlocked difficulty 5 and at level 40 with the huge gloves. Art is great, Music is great and it reminds me of Dragons Crown.
@TheMule1983 No I won’t. My tvs and projector have Xbox cloud gaming and I have a PC, steam deck and a laptop. I love my Xbox but I love game pass more because of day one releases on PC and cross save.
Huge news. I respect Xboxes move to multi platform. I’m a gamer on all devices and platforms and could care less about exclusives. Let us play games where we want. Smart move and it’s turning into sales.
There are Xbox gamers that won’t touch Sony/Nintendo and vice versa. Why eliminate yourself from a whole ecosystem? These articles get the most engagement but when it favors Xbox I don’t see the same users around stirring the pot.
I've played the Early Access on Steam. It's really fun and going to be great on game pass with friends. Always a game genre I can enjoy. Fun in little doses and easy to grind.
Game is great. Beat it on Saturday. Story is good, Music is great, Art + Design is Great. Gameplay is okay. Got lost in the world just walking around staring at detail. Music went from soul to jazz to big band. Was fun researching some of the folk lore they presented in the game. I usually don't get hooked into Single Player games. Definitely will be up for some awards at the end of the year.
Truly an amazing game. Really wraps everything a storytelling game can do. I still haven’t beaten it though. Horror really isn’t my thing. Love the music videos between chapters and jump scares.
@Bigmanfan There is a huge community on achievement hunting. It's like trophy hunters on PlayStation. Microsoft Rewards gives you points for daily/weekly and monthly challenges. They used to be worth a lot and you could use your reward points to pay for your gamepass subscription or get gift cards.
Played it when it first came out. I liked steep more. I played a ton and have done all the dlc. It’s feels too arcadey especially with the add ons of skating and bmx. I prefer games like skater xl and trials fusion. Tons of content.
I never owned one but my cousin had one. We would play in the van, hotel rooms and tents. Crimson skies and halo were the game I remember. I had a PlayStation 1 and GameCube.
I got to play for about an hour yesterday. It crashed my computer with a memory leak. It eventually worked. Combat and art style is great. I wish it was local coop on Steam though. Hopefully they can roll that out. Not the best time for release but I'm going to play it some. World of Warcraft season 1 just dropped yesterday.
World of Warcraft and flight sim are my top. Games you can get lost in forever. Everything else looks good and will try on game pass. I’m hoping black ops zombies is great and gets a resurgence from the warzone diehards.
Perfect game to bring to other consoles. All of Xbox games are on PC day 1. Don’t get the doom and gloom. Anything to bring more players to a game is great for gamers. Bring them all over I could care less.
@clvr my friends and I just got into it. It is very daunting. It’s like an extraction shooter with horror elements. Really good graphics and setting. It’s more my friends type of game. Don’t like character resets when you die from people playing it for years and have very stealthy paid cosmetics.
It’s decent. Just sped through it on PC. Hit max in 60 hours. Bugs, no races, no classes. Resource gathering is good. Combat is decent. Environments and zones are vivid. Enemies and repetition gets boring. I’ll jump back in if some buddies pick it up on console. The community is toxic and bitter.
Thank you for the breakdown. A little upset with Xbox for just the way they release this information. But it’s still worth it to me especially since I use an Xbox and PC.
My friends and I still talk about Blur. We played it a lot online back in the day and it was so much fun. We thought it could be a Mario kart rival on other platforms.
I did the rewards for three years straight just to get game pass ultimate free. It was a grind but I liked it and it made me try most of the game pass games to get easy achievements for the daily.
It’s definitely slower now with a few updates but it’s still a great value. I got a PC and game between the two but don’t care about the reward tracking.
Yeah the Xbox controller is the best. Nintendos pro controller is second. I never liked PlayStation controllers. I heard their new ones are better. PS4 and before were garbage. Terrible charge, always ripped up the thumb sticks and always hit that middle button.
@Jedge396 You can play on a safe server. You can’t get to pirate legend but you can play by yourself or with just your friends. There is tall tales that include lore. You can fish too. Or do most of the quests with each faction. It’s fun solo. It’s fantastic with friends.
Good. Sell their software. Who cares about the hardware. They release all first party day one on pc. Make money and let us all decide how we want to game.

I play PC and Xbox. Play anywhere is pretty big. If I’m on the fence but I can get it for both it helps push me over the edge edge

Re: NBA 2K26 Releases For Xbox This September, Cover Stars Revealed
I told myself I wasn't going to buy 2K until Jokic was on the cover and they go and put the wrong #15* on the cover.
*Melo was #15 for the Nuggets.
