Unless you buy the much more expensive collectors editions which don't even have a disc, just a download key.

That game manages to be hilarious and terrifying at the same time.

For me it has to at least have full backwards compatibility for which, depending on what else it could do, I would splash the cash.

No backwards compatibility though = no sale here.

Shrugs. Oh well, nevermind.

Not played all the games on the list (far from it), but out of all the ones I have played:

1 point goes to Atomfall
2 points goes to Deep Rock Survivor.
3 points goes to Powerwash Simulator 2.
4 points goes to Roadcraft.
And my 5 points goes to...The Alters.

I have the game on disc and the dlc digital.
Wondering the same as you concerning the game, although I don't think the game has an upgrade path and will have to be purchased again. Will my digital dlc get a free update...

Yeah while not being factually true, the marketing department would probably insist on such a name as "Play Anywhere".

(Play anywhere that supports Xbox games I suppose)

If Microsoft believe so firmly in Play Anywhere, why is it not possible to buy a game on the Xbox and then play it on Steam or the PlayStation?

In other words Playstation users NEED Xbox to keep Sony from taking them for granted.

It sounds mental - and the type of game that a lot of people wouldn't buy but will now try because of GP.

Worth mentioning that it's been on PC in early access since 2019. Bought it years ago meaning to play it once it went to the full version last year.

Still haven't, the backlog of excellent games is real!

How they continue to get away with that practice, I don't know.

Unfortunately the use of AI (that MS are heavily investing in) may be the only way to achieve the 30% profit margin the suits are demanding, once there are layoffs.

Don't think an Xbox game has ever scored higher than a 8 on PS.

Even Forza Horizon 5 couldn't get higher - was marked down for having "too much content" 😆

The reviewer states that they really liked the first game (which they gave an 8) and likes this one even more, then gives it a 7.

Goes on to say they wish they could take back the score they gave the first game...

Shareholders gotta get their dividends.

There would be a lot less if PS stopped writing quite so many articles concerning Xbox.

Some of them are pure console war bait designed to get clicks (from both camps).

That's the difference 3rd party key resellers can make. Sony in particular are bleeding their user base dry by forcing them to buy through the Playstation storefront.

Don't think enough is made of this stark contrast.

Apparently it's somehow worse on the PS5 Pro...

Do devs bother with testing these days?
Why spend time and resources when the end user customer mugs will do it for them.

Gamers are less and less going to buy games at launch and just pick them up in sales later on, by which time they're patched and fixed.

Great game.

There's a lot to do, with much switching between vehicles.

Co-op is the way to go if possible.

Will probably get this.
Enjoyed the other 2 'diffirent' lego games, Builder's Journey and Bricktales.

Think it's just down to preference. I do find it easier to do on the right side of the controller than the left.

Us older folks that grew up with ever changing controller options and layouts have had to adapt our grip over the years from one button Atari controllers onwards.

I suppose if one were to pick up a controller for the first time now they would probably find it more intuitive to use both middle and forefingers.
