I pre-ordered star ocean divine force and am waiting for that. In case you don’t know, the publisher of the star ocean games is not doing well financially and this is their final great game that will either save their company or be the last. I bought to support because I love the star ocean games.
I have been playing through halo: infinite campaign, It was initially very fun, but I got a little bogged down with all the collectibles on the map. If I play anything again, it will be to play more of this.
Yeah, as somebody who does not have a PlayStation newer than the ps3, I find this very appealing. It has a lot of the games that I picked up on my own outside of game pass on Xbox, and has a lot of stuff that I would want to play. .
My feeling is that this is really good because it means competition for Microsoft and the need to make their offering even more compelling.
To be honest, I was disappointed. I didn’t think the games they showed were bad, just not the type of stuff that I’m into. In contrast, I loved the last nintendo direct because it showed exactly the types of games I’m into. I don’t enjoy gory first person shooters, and I’d love it if Xbox moved away from that category.
I’ve been playing Greedfall before it leaves game pass, and I’m really enjoying it a lot.
@Lavalera I love the ff games. Haven’t ever played 14 since I only have an xbox, but I want to finish playing all of them. I started 12 and that was something very fun.
Yup, I have a 2021 and a 2017 Samsung tv, so I guess this won’t work for me. It is really cool to be able to stream games we own. I use the feature to stream games from my console to ipad, but it would be great to be able to stream direct from cloud.
Still playing through daemon x machina on switch. When done with that, I’m going to look for a tactical rpg to get my fix in. Prob something on switch.
I’m probably going to be playing elden ring for a long while. I have dying light 2 sitting around, but I still haven’t touched it. I am spending time reading Andrew Tchaikovskys Shadows of the Apt series, so haven’t been playing anything for a while.
I just bought sacred 2 in the most recent backwards compat sale, so I would have been very happy with this game with gold if i hadn’t just bought it. Oh well.
I don’t know. I do not have a PlayStation, but if they made this service usable for non console owners and made the back catalog available, I would definitely be interested. There are a lot of old PlayStation classics that I either loved, or never got to play.
It is the reason I originally upgraded to the series x from the xbox one. There is something wonderful about being able to immediately start playing a game, without any loading, and also having no loading menu. I play a lot of games streamed from my Xbox, and it really helps there too. It basically makes launching into something instantaneous.
I believe activision developed the X-men legends games and marvel ultimate alliance, which I have but can not play on anything but the original 360. I hope they can get those games back up and in game pass.
Finally beat no more heroes, and celebrating the time till elden ring comes by trying out some game pass titles. I am trying out scarlet nexus, which is on my try list, and may play some warhammer. I would love to play horizon zero west, but have no PlayStation so going to have to wait on it.
@LtSarge No more heroes is great. Played on the switch for the first time, and on the Final boss. Waiting till I feel in the mood to finish that off. Good playing 🙂
I’m mostly reading this weekend. I picked up Grim Dawn on sale and am looking for the time to play that in this very busy two gaming months. I am at the last boss on no more heroes, started playing hades a little while ago, and slowly playing through the master chief collection. I don’t know when I’ll get back to everything, but am enjoying the peace and quiet.
Thank you very much for letting me know about the sale. I have wanted to play this one for years and this is the first time I have the hardware to play it. I was waiting for a sale to pick it up.
I am in the Microsoft ecosystem this gen, and this does not excite me. I do not play anything activision publishes, and would much rather Microsoft expanded in the jrpg space.
I’m still playing through no more heroes on switch. I found the first 30 minutes boring, the. Really got into it, then got bored again. I have to see if want to finish the game.
I’m playing through no more heroes on switch, and totally loving it. When I first started, I thought it was a slog as I was playing on sweet mode, but changing it to mild mode and getting more through the story has made this a great game.
I’m traveling so no time with my Xbox. I am catching up within my switch, and playing ember:console edition and anything else that might catch my eye in the switch sale.
@Alduin I just bought ember too on switch. I have wanted to play grim dawn for for years but the full price is more than I can justify so I’ll wait for it To go on sale.
I am new to AC, and only played odyssey, which I got on sale earlier this year, so I do t know what a classic AC is like. I like odyssey a lot, though I am getting worn out from the fetch quests. The siege battle is fun. My precious pet sometimes runs off and takes people on singlehandedly and dies, so that is the most challenging part.
I like picking up gems from the last generation to pick up since I missed the last few generations. I might get kingdom hearts, which finally went on sale, pillars of eternity ii, and a few others. I am new to Assasins creed games, and didn’t know anything about ultimate editions or anything, and just got the odyssey and then Valhalla for $10. I’ve learned my lesson now though and will wait for the super sale with all the dlc from now on.
Was playing through the master chief collection, and got half way through halo: CE. Decide to take a break, and now am trying different games in my library. I am playing Assasins Creed:Odyssey right now, and am having a blast with it. I have a hunter build with the bow, and am loving just destroying enemies from a distance.
I never played halo before, and in preparation for halo:infinite, I started playing it in the master chief collection. All I can say is wow. I started with halo reach, which was much more difficult since I am not really a fps guy. Now I’m playing combat evolved. I can’t believe I’ve missed out on this for the last 20 years.
I had been looking forward to this game since I heard it was coming out, but between the price, my backlog and halo infinite coming out soon I’m going to wait and see if they can iron out the kinks and see if it goes on sale. I own the game on pc, but got it on a steam sale and my computer has never been powerful enough to run it.
I never have been a fps person, yet I decided to try playing halo for the first time and it has been really fun. I started with Reach, and am really loving that. I am also playing vikings:wolves of midgard, and that is really fun too. Finally figured out a build that i like, though the leveling system (1% in a certain category) is not explained anywhere.

No way I’m even going near ign. The toxicity and console wars of that community is why I switched to this site.
