Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 19-20)

I'm liking the discovery and surprises of Tunic, but I'm already looking up to the bossfights, considering how hard it already is to avoid regular swordstrikes. For me, a story focused difficulty is always a plus - and it's something Tunic doesn't have. Will continue playing it, however. Great first hour.

Will probably do the weekly challenges in Forza Horizon 5 as well. Shredders, however, is a bit too simple in game design for me.

I tried tunic but it's not for me so I've started a new playthrough of assassins Creed origins.

Definitely WWE 2K22, along with Shredders, Tunic and Mario Kart 8’s new DLC. I also picked up Chorus (Chorvs) this week for $20. Gaming is so good right now!

Really want to get a month of Game Pass in order to catch up to all these great titles but sadly I have several other games I want to play. The primary game I'll be playing this weekend is Mario + Rabbids on Switch. Been craving a strategy game to play and it's so much fun thus far. I'll be also checking out the new Mario Kart DLC with friends.

I'm also considering starting up a new game this weekend and it's leaning a lot towards Resident Evil 4 on Wii. Haven't playing a Resi game or a horror game for that matter in quite some time now and I just need something with action now in order to strike a good balance with Mario + Rabbids.

I'm fully committed to Elden Ring for some time. Also playing GotG on the side. I started HFW on the blue team but I don't think I'll be going back to that until both Elden Ring and Guardians are done and dusted.

Agreed - nothing exists for me outside of Elden Ring right now! The game world is huge and is amazing, occasional boss fight aside…

I recently finished Guardians of the galaxy, now onto Hitman 3 once again.

Elden Ring, then probably some Elden Ring with a side of Elden Ring.

Too busy this weekend so will spend seconds in WeakWood Throne for TrueAchievement's targets.

Shadow Warrior 2 before it leaves Game Pass. Super dumb fun so far! Sea of Thieves tonight with the guys - wrapping up the last story in A Pirate's Life.

GotG, Tunic, DS3 and a few matches in Halo Infinite if I can find the time.

@TooBarFoo poor Guerilla. I think everybody dropped that into their backlog for Elden ring. Silly release window for hfw if u ask me.

@NeutronBomb not everyone is playing Elden ring. I got my platinum on hfw already and haven't played a second of Elden Ring yet. I'm waiting a bit with getting that since some other games got my attention more and I'm not the biggest souls fan

I'm playing strangers of paradise on my Xbox and Ghost of Tsushima DC on my Ps5. The gameplay of Stangers is pretty fun especially if you ignore the story and don't mind the graphics. Ghost is a true classic, loving the Samurai vibe

I’m just over two hours into the utterly gorgeous Tunic and absolutely adore it. It’s hands down the best indie since Death’s Door, which I platinum’d on PS5. I’ll maybe tick off some more map icons on Forza Horizon 5, too.

Other than that, Grand Turismo 7 and Horizon Forbidden West on PS5.

Still playing Gran Turismo 7 on PS4 pro but not sure for how much longer. PD / Sony seem intent on making the journey to fun as arduous as possible.

On series X still playing Dying Light 2 but probably will be switching over to Tiny Tina's Wonderland as soon as that drops next week.

I'll probably dip in and out of Elden Ring, but for the most part I'll be playing Tunic. It's INCREDIBLE, and would be getting far more attention if it wasn't an indie. I would 100% have bought it if it wasn't on Game Pass.

@NeutronBomb Same happened last time, one or two weeks later Breath of the Wild launched. Got to feel for them

Trying out Ghostrunner on PS5 and playing ELEX 2 and some TUNIC on Series X.

I’ve been pushing through multiple AAA titles as of late, so these games are a nice change of pace.

I'm going to have a Halo Infinite session on Sunday with a buddy. Likely some time will be spent on AI Somnium on xcloud and depending on my state of mind after Halo might dabble in artful escape some more

About to hit the 90 hour mark on Elden Ring. Not tired of it even a little bit.

Also waiting for Luigi’s Mansion 3 to arrive in the mail..I got it and also the purple and orange JoyCons I missed out on 3 years ago. ❤️

Have got back into Apex Legends for some reason.
Also... I was initially a little underwhelmed by FH5... However, I have tweaked some of the settings and am finding it much more enjoyable.

I am playing tunic which is bloody fantastic. And 10 min ago I got the oh well you fought the game was hard... We were just getting things warm

I tried Gaurdians of the Galaxy but didn’t like the voice acting and script. Deleted that. Now I’m onto finishing Forza only 3 sign left to smash 😩

Finishing The Ascent, some hours into Elden Ring, and will try Shredders.

I know I’m gonna be a echo here, but Elden Ring is king for me this weekend. Gave tunic a go and now I can’t decide where to invest my time in 😅 Also had a bunch of fun with Doom Eternal’s horde mode. GT7 made me crave a bit of racing sim action, so got my Forza 7 out of the box and teared through some tracks. Amazing how a 2017 game puts a 2022 game to shame. GT7 looks and plays fab, but Sony is ruining it in a pretty shady way (post-review and high praise). Forza works so much better in the progression department. It is a true joy!

While everyone has been playing Tunic, I've been enjoying my playthrough of Young Souls. Great story, characters and combat. It's on Game Pass. Check it out if you haven't already. Highly recommended!

I've gone back to playing Forza Horizon actually. Mostly because I was really into GT7 for a while, but all the recent developments and the grind of it all has made me wanting to just go back to playing something more fun and rewarding, such as Forza.

I've also been trying out some Gamepass games. What I love about GamePass is how it makes games that you don't like a total non-issue. For example I was really disappointed with Tunic, but it's nothing I would make a big deal about because it didn't really cost me anything. Similar deal with Shredders.

Spent a few hours with tunic, which is fun enough! Im 110 hours in in Hoizon forbidden west, so im pretty invested and keen on platinuming this before moving on. Gt7 is waiting, im loving it despite the bad press, and elden ring is waiting for me to dive in...
I woulnt mind checking shredders too... . Too many games!
