@themightyant I clicked on the link. But that page is so confusing. It's a page for a game that's not out yet. But there's already reviews. And reviews are from 2022. I think xbox messed up. Reviews should be for individual games, not the whole franchise.

Did somebody say third person? Definitely interested now. Will give it a go when it releases.

Would be nice if it allowed me to play both my pc and xbox games on it. Like I'd want to be able to play my steam library as well as my xbox.

Expedition 33 for me. I didn't expect to see a game I would like in the show, but this was the game I liked the most.

I'm not sure if I'll like this, but I'll watch the gameplay trailer and see if I like it. Maybe try it when it's out.

The all digital series x cost a lot more than the digital PS5. So wouldn't this make people choose the PS5 over xbox, if they were to get a console?

I like the graphics and artstyle of the game, but I won't play it coz I'm not really into shooting games.

They rid say that they need to optimise for the series x|s, so I am guessing it's because they need to optimise it for the series s. If that's the case, then I think xbox should allow it to release on series x first and series s later, after it has been properly optimised.

Because usually if a game comes out on another platform first, and people want that game, some might get it on the platform it is available on, first. And then if it comes out on xbox later, after already buying it on another platform, they most likely won't buy the game again. Some people might wait or some people probably just have an xbox only, but those are probably a small number of people.

I know I won't wait, unless it's on a platform I don't like, like the epic games store.

@theduckofdeath ok yeah, if it's noticeable, I don't like it. But if I don't notice it, then it's fine.

Don't think Microsoft can afford to acquire anyone else, they just shut a couple studios. So I doubt they're looking for anymore acquisition. Microsoft would probably ruin Steam if they acquired Valve. But if it was the other way round, valve would probably improve the xbox.

I don't remember having any issues while playing a game with the series x. Other than that controller issue I've had, where it double presses buttons.

@NEStalgia it is a bit confusing, them having similar names. I could easily get them mixed up.

I bought the game but didn't play it much, not coz I didn't like it. It might be because I got a PS4 around the same time and I bought the game on PC. So I've been spending most of my time on the PS4. And I bought a few PS3 games too that I never got around to playing because of the PS4. I still haven't played those last few games I bought on PS3.

What I would like to see is a good third person and team based rpg in a cool fantasy setting.

@Chaotic_Neutral that was my last experience back when I was playing the 1st battlefield I think on ps4. I can't remember which 1. But I tried it, and everytime I spawn and walk for a few seconds, I get one shot from someone so far away that I couldn't see them lol.

So if I was a terrible player, would I be playing with other terrible players, or would a pro be in my game ?

I thought it was a football manager type game by the name, then realised it's American football.

I used to like zombies mode in world at war. I also liked the survival mode on the original mw3.

Why headphones over a surround sound? I think I would prefer to play games on surround.

I only played hellblade out of the list and didn't really get into it. Never knew they made other games. I played their other game that's not on xbox and I enjoyed that. Would be cool if there was a remake of that and multiplatform. I would like to try it out again.

I got a series x coz of gamepass and coz I heard that they listen and deliver what people ask for. Found out after getting the SX, it wasn't true. I was disappointed with the console, so I gave it away.

What's the point of digital discs if you need to be online to install it?

I bought it for a quid from cex for PS4, and I played for a bit with friends who play it. I didn't really get into it, so I turned it off and never touched it again. It's not my type of game, even though I'm into MMORPGs. I like mmos because there's lots of players around and that you can make a clan together or a guild. But I have to like the gameplay, artstyle and story, for me to get into it.

Whoever made that comment just wanted to play on gamepass. They would never have bought it, even if they liked it.

@NEStalgia oh on PC you don't need to configure something all the time. The only time I use mouse is to log in, update stuff when needed, open steam or the game and use the browser. Oh I do use an app to mess with the fan and led settings, but that's optional, don't have to mess with it and just leave as it is.

So for anyone that just wants to play games only, they could set steam up to launch in big picture mode on start up. So whenever you log in, just grab a controller and then select the game you want to play. And you can also turn off the PC from there too.

The only time you would configure stuff and download everything you need would be at the initial setup, when you first get your pc. Won't need to mess around with the settings after that. Just a one time thing.

What's unique about xbox tho? I've seen a lot of common games so far and nothing unique or interesting for me.

I now see xbox as just boring platform and whatever I can do on there, I can do better on pc.

Except quick resume. That's nice and all, but I never really used that on the xbox, as I fully shut down the console from the socket. And when I turn it back on, quick resume isn't there.

Nothing I want to play is on that list tho.

Oh wait, valheim is crossplay, Steam and Xbox. It's not on this list tho.

Oh wherever they want to play could mean a handheld device.

If they do stop making next Xbox consoles, they could still make accessories. I wouldn't buy it tho as I don't like their controllers.

I don't think cod should be added to game pass on day one. Or any of Activision games, day one. I think they should treat activision as a separate entity. Something they own, but not the same as xbox games. Maybe I'm just weird for thinking this. But I think Activision games should be added to gamepass 2 or 3 months after release.

I actually own Dishonored and Dishonored 2. 1 is on epic games I got for free. And 1 on gog, I also got for free. I never played them, but I guess I'll give it a go and see how it is.

@NEStalgia yep, I know it was tango that made Ghostwire Tokyo, hi-fi rush and evil within. Not sure what else they made tho, only know these 3 games from them.

I'm sure if they kept the now closed studios, they could have made multiple small games at once. There is still no xbox first party games that I actually like. I kinda like Ghostwire Tokyo, but it's not really for me as I don't like first person. I thought maybe after acquiring Activision, they'd be able to make games I might like. But I highly doubt it now.

I think PC game pass will remain cheap, but still will avoid getting it.

I didn't realise acquiring Activision was such a bad Idea. Ever since Activision joined the team, I've just been hearing bad news and nothing good.

Can't wait. Hopefully I can play on steam.
