I got the 2000g for the xbone and series version!!
Why not handy little boost in the gamerscore for little effort!
Basically about an hour and it's 2000g!

From Xbox/Microsoft I'm not really surprised they didn't do really anything but they should of made a bigger deal of it but I knew they wouldn't!!
You guys here on pure Xbox did give the anniversary it's dues I loved the content discussing the console it's games and everything!!
I'd love to see more stuff like that going forward from you guys 👍

I'm glad south of midnight is getting some recognition it was a very good enjoyable game to play with an original setting and great story hopefully we get some sort of follow up!
And everyone knows expedition 33 was just exceptional!!

I'd say using 1080p resolution while streaming would give you the best overall experience because at 1440p it's a bit up and down just like when 1080p was the ceiling for this before??🤷

Kinda gone off first person shooters tbh but I say this will be very popular over the weekend on Xbox poor aul cod haha!

I picked up the GTA trilogy on sale really great playing the old games again especially GTA 3 and vice city!

It's a disgrace the console is five years old!!
I don't care the excuses take a loss nobody is buying Xboxes no at least make them cheaper than the much more popular competition!!!

That core version is the definition of bare bones!!

I enjoyed this when it first came out got to the highest level and most of the achievements!
After playing Helldivers 2 I played one game after the last update and just couldn't get into it after playing Helldivers for a co-op experience it's leagues below that imo!

@Shinato2024 I played I think just over eighty hours in the game when it launched so I gave as good a go as I could but one of the final missions glitched near the end of the game for me making it impossible to complete!
I realized starting a new game that I didn't want to even attempt to finish the main campaign again ever!

When a ship is sinking at sea the people onboard would be very happy to jump on a ship sailing fine that isn't going to be on the seabed soon killing everyone onboard.🧐

Why would anyone chose a series s over that?
I bet the digital ps5 has more storage aswell!
Xbox is a frog ina pot on a stove and the heat keeps going up but the frog is clueless till he is boiled alive!

I mean surely it makes more sense to take a loss on the console sales to get more people into to ecosystem buying games or subbing to gamepass!
Rather then making it more expensive than your competitor which is more popular so the consoles just sit ina shop or warehouse gathering dust not being sold??
A series s should be 200 quid in reality now and a series x should be 350 at the most!
It's 5 years later I don't buy chip shortages or whatever else they are telling us to keep the prices up!
These companies are so money hungry it's amazing!

Bethesda just need to shut up and make games!
Todd Howard must be the biggest 💩 talker in the industry to get away with the glacier speed they release the elder scrolls and fallout games it's actually offensive at this point!!
I Know they are big games loads of dialogue blah blah blah but 11/11/11 was when Skyrim released get on it man!
I mean wasting so many years on a bore fest like starfield for absolutely nothing and he probably got a raise in pay for doing it!!

I love horror films me and the misses could watch one every night of the week no problem but I'm not a big fan of horror games at all!
I do like the supermassive games but they are basically interactive movies so I don't think that counts!
Besides after playing half-life back in the day with those face hugger monsters popping out of nowhere jumping at the screen nothing comes close to those scares ina video game!

I could say grass is green and someone would be offended thats just the world now unfortunately!
The moral of the story is this dude in the story lost his father and playing on the Xbox helped him through that horrible process of grief!
Life is awful hard at times dealing with the loss of a parent is really hard in my experience you never really get over it just manage it better as time goes on!

@Fanat1c Nobody is thanking an inanimate object rather just saying they using that object helped them through a hard time or to process certain things better possibly??

I picked up the GTA trilogy recently so I'll be playing vice city for the best part of the weekend!
Such a good upgrade now it's been updated properly really going to enjoy playing though these games again after so long!
I'll probably try finish off the cod campaign aswell and forget totally about the game it's pretty bad in every department!

@Pigrotto Yeah dude I went through about 4 or 5 360s with the rrod that first model constantly died on me but once they dropped the slim version it was an issue on that machine!
Also the consoles where decently priced back then and dropped in price year on year.
That beautiful trend ended in this gen unfortunately 🤦

I'd agree with the original poster you guys have put a lot of effort into the anniversary well done and I'm especially loving the opinion articles about it superb job you guys are giving it more respect than Microsoft themselves!!
The goes so quickly the 360 20 years old now is nearly unbelievable!
I still first remember seeing the games ina store and being blown away by how the game looked so realistic actual textures to clothes sweat and being hd it was ground breaking!
I lost a bit of interest in gaming before this machine dropped probably because I was a teen chasing girls around then haha 🤣
But the 360 brought me back to gaming and I haven't left since!
Still can't believe it's twenty years though my god!!

Just bought the GTA trilogy so I'll be playing those games over the weekend and try finish off the cod campaign I've had my time with the 360 and it's games for the most part!

I literally just game on Xbox but in the future this could become more useful for me?

I never played any of the perfect dark games but I own this on digitally so I might give it go see how it holds up myself!

@FrenchVaniIIuxe Numbers don't really come into weather I enjoy a game I enjoyed the game I don't know what else to say and I loved the new doom it was definitely one of the best games this year for me easily!

Glad to see the game doing so well!
People have been crying out for another proper battlefield game for years and coupled with how lackluster cod is in every department this year they are sweeping up!

Gaming has definitely helped me through some tough times in life and through the grief aswell alright!
It's a great escape if you're going through bad times even just for a hour or so to get your mind off things for a short time can make the world of a difference 💪

Great deal but the game is a bit too dark and horror like for me to enjoy as a game especially if those moaning creatures in the nurse outfits are still in the game it's just not my cup of tea for a game unfortunately!

This looks very very good to me the trailers gameplay was definitely a higher grade quality than the series x can produce in practice but it looks fun hopefully it's not a co-op multiplayer or at least can be played single player!

I'm tempted by the Rugrats game and the GTA trilogy!
Jedi survivor is at an amazing price aswell despite finishing the campaign before it's tempting aswell 🤓

I voted 0 to 99 just for the laughs haha!
I'm sure valve will try gouge out as money as they can put of potential buyers just like the others are still doing 5 years down the line!

@FrenchVaniIIuxe Those games would of had a much higher expectations on them than this game would of had on itself especially considering it didn't launch on playstation and this is a new fresh IP with no established fans or previous games like the two you a mentioning.

It's obviously not an amazing timeless classic but it was received positively!

A very good game with a lot of unique aspects to it definitely deserved some sort of recognition in my opinion!
Nice to see something new and original coming out rather than the same sort of thing done a dozen different ways!
This game and keeper where two of the best I've played this year!

I'm definitely going to pick this up for myself over the Christmas such a great series of games except for mafia 3 that was a trainwreck!

Tbh the whole game is a bit meh!
Campaign, multiplayer, zombies it's all just a bit bland I'd rather keep on playing black ops 6 and it's version of each mode!

@NintendoByNature Robocop unfinished business is very very good imo very fun to play!

What a great read hits every aspect that made the 360 amazing!!
Being able to save CDs to your hard drive and play them during the game was my favorite thing about the 360!
That and the games!
