I sure they did all the tribal crap between consoles is really annoying anyways but it's pushed alone by the companies,fans and journalists hopefully eventually people can just enjoy the product without getting all hung up if someone uses a different brand plastic box to game on!

If it's underpowered compared to the series x theres no point if you want to have the console experience but it's a dip of the toe into what next gen seems to be about??
The only issues for me is the controller I want physical anolog not a sensor!

@GuyinPA75 My dude😁 I'm not a great fan of cod either tbh and i couldn't really comment on the multiplayer of infinite but the campaign was a huge let down for me I want an old school set piece campaign of old!

Seems a decent dip of the toe into PC gaming but as a console user exclusively that I am do you think that a ps5 would not be a better purchase over this??

Well tbh the halo franchise hasn't been the same since they left either!
Since 343 took over the halo games have gotten progressively worse ending up with infinite which was basically a farcry game!
I'd say both Bungie and Microsoft would go back in time if they could and do things differently!
They left halo behind to spread there wings and do other things!
I'm sure just creating the lackluster destiny games and slowly being picked apart by Sony after failing to be value for money for them wasn't part of the plan!

@PsBoxSwitchOwner Maybe they are hoping the hardcore tech gamers and also people on YouTube or whatever social media who's content is gaming they will pick the strongest machine most likely and maybe get exposure of the console and it's power through that.
I'd be very surprised if gamepass ever became so expensive in the future but you never know I suppose??
I mean if next gen goes the way of this gen with the prices rising for the consoles after nearly 6 years instead of going down they will have a tough job selling that machine at all even to a hardcore Xbox fan!
I wouldn't ever be comfortable spending that amount of money on a console for just myself out of principal more than anything!
But people spend thousands on a new version of a phone every year with little to no difference in specs so God knows haha!

@PsBoxSwitchOwner I personally think Microsoft just changed tactics with the gamepass hikes!
Your right it was undeniable that gamepass was the best deal in gaming but it hasn't resulted in more console sales or a big bump in subs so it wasn't working for them!
No point in having a great deal that the vast majority don't want because they are on playstation probably?
The same the way it seems they changed on next gen.

No apparently now it's going to be this super powered PC console hybrid that will be vastly more powerful than the next playstation that would have to cost a bundle!
They are constantly changing strategy to get people on there consoles or gamepass!
We got a great ride with cheap gamepass for years now it's being sold at around about what it's worth tbh!

@darksoul77 Yeah I'd use a similar amount of games as you a month on gamepass so there's definitely value for me and I take full advantage of the rewards system which got a huge bump up!
No to mention I'm in Europe and our beautiful laws denied Microsoft from bumping up the price for the time being at least ha😉✌️

It's the best gaming community I've every experienced!
Plus on the higher difficulties it's literally madness!
Also with credit farming you don't really need to buy warbonds if you have the patience!

@Questionable_Duck I think the main reason gears of war sold so badly on playstation because it was terribly overpriced!
It's a retouch of a remake that barely plays anything like the current games!
It should of been 30 euro at the very most!
I love the game but it's very dated in controls and a lot of other aspects it was arrogance for Microsoft to charge so much!

Considering the series s exists and it's similar to the switch 2 in power it's very surprising more games haven't at least been announced for the switch 2!

I might try this eventually but I don't honestly see myself enjoying it as much as Helldivers 2 the whole lore community and the fact 99% of players play into the narrative around the game really gives it appeal in my opinion!
I know both games have there differences but Helldivers is the best live service game imo.

The series x in hardware terms is the best console of this gen by far!
Especially for last gen and older games no console beats it for performance of those games fps boosts resolution boosts free current gen upgrades!
Software yes it's not tops but the machine is an absolute beast even now!

This gen will last longer because realistically we don't need a new gen of console yet!
The is just capitalism Xbox console and to a lesser extent playstation console sales are stagnating so time to develop a new overpriced console!
