What a racer back in the day I loved this game series such fun to play!
It's a bit sad we don't get many fun racing games anymore Forza horizon is fun but not in the same way as the racing games of that era!

Very nice it's such a fun game to play especially in the big fights when muscle memory kicks in and your kinda on auto pilot killing demons!

With barbie project friendship going off gamepass the value has left Microsoft thinks the price hike was bad press this is an absolute travesty!!🥲

@GamingGod If anyone is just dining off subscription service games they are doing it wrong for sure!
Personally I just buy what I like and want to own and rent the rest basically how I have my whole gaming life haha

While I'm in the minority of people enjoying the campaign in gameplay terms at least the story is just nonsense I'm very disappointed overall with this year's call of duty altogether Black ops 6 is a superior game in every sense to me!

I loved the turtles game these guys made so this should be great fun for me I'll definitely give the online co-op a go aswell!!!

Banishers ghost of Eden has been on my radar for a while now I'll definitely be playing that decent month so far!!

Everything is so expensive nowadays I'm not surprised for the vast majority of people gaming is simply a hobby there are more important things to spend money on!
Games go on sale quickly enough nowadays aswell!
Personally unless it's a must play game for me I'm not going to buy the game full price day one Helldivers 2 would be my last must play game!
Also the rise in subscription services like gamepass and ps plus would play a part!
There's not many games worth the price tag day one anymore!

@abe_hikura Yeah hit and run was a great game back in the day I remember even enjoying the other Simpsons game out around that time it was one of the first games I bought for than gen.
And yeah I was trying to convince my daughter to play some last night so I could see what it was like haha she was having none of it though wanted to watch kpop demon hunters on Netflix instead!!

I've never been so tempted to play Fortnite just to run around Springfield in the game I'm a huge fan the Simpsons but I'm not into Fortnite!

@carlos82 Yeah I totally agree with you there it would be better if you could play offline but theres loads of games out there with the exact same online model maybe there's just more shock because it's cod,s first time doing this??
And yeah definitely wait for a sale if you're into the campaign it is fun to play but the story is nonsensical and I'd pass it altogether if you're planning on playing solo in my opinion it would just be a slog to play especially in the open world area's!
Black ops 6 was far superior in every aspect from what I've played of the game so far!

@carlos82 Well it is always online my dude and there are many games where it works the exact same as cod is working this year it's nothing new or shocking tbh maybe there are reasons it won't work solo I honestly don't know or care because I'm just enjoying the game as it is rather than moaning about it tbh!
Besides I can't even remember the last time I had to game offline in the past few years so for the most part it's a mute point!
In this day and age people just love to p**s and moan about anything and everything!
I'm not saying you are personally but a lot of people are about trivial changes in my opinion!
The multiplayer was always the reason people bought this game now it's the campaign apparently??
I'll just enjoy the game move onto another one when I'm finished the cod campaign I just think the whole end of days vibe about simple changes to the game is laughable I've played much worse games released this year haha!

@Link41x Thats sweet I watched the Michael Keaton and jack Nicholson batman on vhs a few weeks back it's so nostalgic the sound and picture off them while watching on vhs takes me back to my childhood!
But yeah the cable guy is a great movie alright Carrey at his best!

Just keep supporting the series x because the prices for consoles right now is a joke 5 years in I don't care tariffs chip shortages or whatever they are flat out too expensive!

@themightyant It's a co-op campaign literally says it in the games menu so it's actually a co-op campaign that can be played solo so it's not a single player game!
Like Helldivers 2 you can play solo if you want but it's a online co-op game in reality that must be online exactly the same as cod they were never selling this as a solo campaign it's been heavily covered that would not be the case at all with the game.✌️

It's an always online game so yeah I'd say it's awful tough to play it offline like every other game that are always online!
I'd go as far to say it's impossible to play an always online game offline haha 🤷

The use of AI in entertainment is a non problem compared to global warming in fairness it doesn't really translate 🤔

I myself don't have a problem with the use of AI to help develop games once the quality of the product doesn't suffer because of it!
The development of games nowadays is painfully slow so anything to speed it up should be used!
AI is going to be used more and more in things in the coming years it's just going to happen 100%!
Being outraged about it's use just seems like a waste of energy and time to me!

8/10 for me I've mostly just played the campaign and I'm having fun with it so far I might be in the minority but it's really fun with other players and I've only been playing with randoms!
If anyone is looking to play it solo I wouldn't I could imagine it being a slog that way!
I'm not into the new zombies map at all and I haven't played enough multiplayer to have an opinion yet!
Definitely not as good as black ops 6 though for me on any level except probably resolution and graphics!

I'd assume there's a point in the game where a micro transactions are needed to progress due to difficulty or an unreasonable amount of grinding something!!
Can't wait till these stupid exclusivity deals for a certain games to be done away with!

I tried lords of the fallen a few times it looked the business but I just can't into any souls like games that aren't fromsoftware dispite trying all the pretenders to the crown fromsoftware just does it properly in my opinion!

@ValentineMeikin Definitely not bare bones i much prefer the traditional campaign but there's a lot in the game I mean they made a giant open world full of missions it's certainly different but not bare bones at all!

I'm enjoying the co-op campaign so far the story is crazy not really the best but the gameplay is definitely fun I've just been playing with randoms and it's really good!
That said I prefer a more normal campaign like last years game!

I've been meaning to play through it again now I'm on series x rather than series s the first time.

I'll be on black ops 7 this weekend and I'll try finish off the campaign which I'm enjoying so far tbh!
I'll also be on the zombies and the multiplayer!
I'm also playing the casting of frank stone!
And possibly some Helldivers 2 because I'm addicted!

@BAMozzy Yeah I don't really get the hate for cod trying something different and if people are into the end game there would most likely be big updates probably new areas!
Plus I really like that you can go up levels and level up your guns in it for multiplayer!
Tbh there's a lot more negative mindsets to this game now Microsoft owns it but it is what it is ha🤷

I couldn't really get into this game although survival games are never really my thing hopefully it does well on other platforms!!

I played a bit of the campaign and honestly for me it's not to bad kinda fun actually!!
You definitely need to play it with people solo it would be terrible but it's fun so far!
The actual story is bat s**t crazy aswell definitely doesn't feel like any cod campaign I've played but I'll be jumping back on for a couple chapters later today!
I've definitely played worse than this campaign!

I'm really disappointed by this I loved last years cod campaign it was brilliant!
Just like a 80s/90s action film so much fun!
Why do this to the next year's campaign I know the multiplayer is the heart and soul of the games but a lot of people enjoy playing though the campaign aswell!!
I'll still try it but it if it's as disappointing as the review says I'll probably have it uninstalled by later tonight!!

Hopefully this is reasonably priced I love the game but I'm not paying over about 20 quid for minimal upgrades!
New achievements would be great but I'm not paying full price for a resolution boost and fps upgrade!

If there's new achievements I will probably pick it up!

I'd say the popularity of Forza horizon has a bit to do with it aswell tbh

@Medic_alert I mean that's the perfect example valve made an amazing game series that was half-life and straight up refuse to finish it haha!
Because valve just do what they want!
Maybe one day though I still hold out hope for half life 3 or even a remake/release of the other half-life games!
