Yep, Xbox's Bethesda team has today shadow dropped Skyrim Anniversary Edition on Switch 2 (that means a surprise release for those of you who aren't down with the lingo). New Skyrim ports have been a running joke in gaming for years now, and you know what, it actually felt like high time we got another one. Bethesda recently announced that Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will be making its way to Switch 2 next year, so why not have Skyrim join it as well? You know it makes sense!
With the 2025 releases of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 & Skyrim and the upcoming 2026 launches of Fallout 4 and Indiana Jones, the Activision and Bethesda teams are clearly intent on supporting Nintendo Switch 2.
