Talking Point: Xbox Fans, How Are You Getting On With Microsoft Rewards In 2025?

It was around this time last year that we asked Pure Xbox readers how you were getting on with Microsoft Rewards in 2024, so it's time to do it again - especially now that the service has changed quite considerably in 2025!

As you may recall, back at the start of the year, the Xbox Game Pass Quests portion of Microsoft Rewards was overhauled with a focus on earning points via streaks, doing away with the need to complete any game-specific tasks or earn daily Xbox achievements. Although this seemed to prove popular with the majority, critics of the program suggested that Microsoft Rewards had perhaps become less engaging for Xbox users as a result.

Since then, things have definitely settled down in the world of Microsoft Rewards, and I've personally been enjoying racking up some points in 2025. It's still only possible to earn around 10,000 points with Microsoft Rewards per-month, which is much lower than what the program used to give out, but still enough to secure some great prizes.

We know that some Pure Xbox readers have been struggling with "limited" searches when it comes to Microsoft Rewards this year as well though, which seem to have become much more common in 2025. This restriction can feel quite random at times, and it's a massive pain when you're just trying to collect your daily points.

So, how are you getting on with Microsoft Rewards so far this year? We're going to throw the same poll that we did last year down below, and we're also keen to find out how many MS Rewards points you're sitting on as things stand.
