I bought this on PS5 a few months ago on offer. It’s actually really good. Def give it a try.

If this takes off Series X will be the last Xbox.

I hope i’m wrong but i have a feeling this is gonna be a disappointment. All the hype, the amount of time it took to show us actual gameplay footage, the alleged size of the game. 1000 different planets is it? Hope it’s not a case of planet 1, it’s dark. Planet 2, same but it’s sunny. Planet 3, same but it’s raining. Planet 4, same but the floor’s red instead of grey. Planet 227, same but it’s desert like. Planet 650, same but more good guys. Planet 998, same but more bad guys. I wait with bated breath. 🙏 🙏

Series X is my first ever Xbox so never played Forza MS. Love Forza Horizon 5. I’m guessing Forza MS is more like Gran Turismo being more realistic than Horizon. This does look incredible! Love Gran Turismo 7. Will be interesting to see if this is as good or better.

This looks decent. Hopefully it’s better than Friday 13th.

@GamerDad66 the hit would also be much bigger for Sony. Xbox exclusives sold on average 4.5 mill copies pre Game Pass, putting them on Game Pass day 1 means they could potentially lose 4.5 million sales. Obvs they’dmake some back from subs. PS exclusives sell on average 20 million copies, their biggest is Spiderman with over 26 million copies sold.

@Murray how do you know how they run? The new PS+ isn’t out yet.

@BAMozzy it depends on the estimated sales of a game. Game Pass can be a great deal for devs as it guarantees them a return. If the game flunks they still get paid. The only reason Sony don’t put day 1 releases in PS+ is because the hit would be huge. Much bigger than the hit Microsoft take. PS exclusives often sell 20+ million copies, no way could they make that back putting it on PS+.

@NEStalgia but they’re the best at it. You have an incredible game with stunning visuals. But on top of that, the thing that sets it apart is the story and the performance. Acting as good as any movie, believable characters that you love or you hate or you don’t trust. Twist an turns, shocks, upsets, parts that terrify you, parts that upset ya, parts that make ya smile. Games like TLOU 1 an 2, the Uncharted series, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman and Miles, Days gone, etc. Yes, they’re not unique, they’re 3rd person, story driven games like Assassin’s Creed, Hitman, Gears, etc. but they’re the absolute best of their kind. Hence why they sell 20+ million copies.

I wonder how much MS pay devs to put a game on Game Pass??? Is it a monthly fee or a one off lump sum? I’m guessing the devs make more money from Playstation sales than they do from Game Pass.

@NEStalgia history. Every AAA PS exclusive knocks it out the park. I’m 100% confident the upcoming PS exclusives will do the same.

Xbox has Starfield which we’ve seen nothing of, Redfall, a couple of others that i forget. Thing is every PS5 game mentioned is guaranteed to be 10/10. Xbox not so much. Also saying Horizon is crap makes no sense. You mean you don’t like it, sales and reviews say otherwise. It’s subjective. Do you even own a PS5?

@awp69 i found that with some of the Pacman games, the original Pacman for instance. My kids have Pacman coin opp in their room an that’s much better to control with the original stick. I thought it was the analogue sticks, would prob work a lot better with an old Xbox 360 pad which can only move in 8 directions.

@Chaudy i think exclusives are important. A vast majority of folk who say they prefer Playstation say so because of the exclusives. PS exclusives really are on another level. This, imo, is why Playstation massively outsells Xbox, the exclusives. Other than that both PS5 an XSX are pretty identical.

@Mingus i like the WW2 setting. I know a reasonable amount about it so it’s good to see in game. Part 4 was brilliant, COD WW2 was the last COD game i played the campaign. Usually just play team death match.

@uptownsoul i didn’t see no. Series X is my first ever Xbox. I know Red Dead 2 ran fine on PS4 tho.

@uptownsoul i don’t think it will struggle. The Xbox One is nearly 10 years old an they’re still making games for that without struggle an the Series S is way more powerful.

@JayJ there are about 12 PS4 games that don’t work on PS5 and you’ve probably never heard of any of them. There are over 4000 PS4 games that work on the PS5.

@russbeer Playstation is the biggest selling console in Europe. USA is the only place Xbox matches/outsells Playstation.

None of them. They’re all rated highly in their time, the second best console on the market after Playstation.

@Mingus you think all games should be violence free? We’d only have sports games!! Pretty much every game has killing in it!! Even games like Mario and Sonic!!

I had a game called Elite on my ZX Spectrum 48+K. Is that the same game? That was pretty cool.

@NEStalgia Sony have 25 new IP’s in the works. The games will keep coming. I do agree MS will close ground in time but they won’t catch Sony because of the lead Sony are making now.

@NEStalgia opinions my friend. My absolute fav games are basically the type of games PS devs make like the ones i mentioned. Kind of a Netflix series in video game form. TLOU 1 and 2 are my no.1 games ever. The story, the gameplay, the realism, the twists an turns, the shocks and the acting is as good as any Netflix series. I think Xbox would do well if they made similar games, PS exclusives often sell 20+ million copies. Xbox put exclusives on Game Pass so they prob wouldn’t sell as many as PS but they’d still sell millions.

@NEStalgia for me Xbox need new exclusives. Halo an Gears are becoming a bit long in the tooth. Forza is a driving game so they can get away with that. I wish Xbox had games like a lot of PS exclusives. God of War, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, etc. really hopin Starfield an Redfall live up to the hype.

@NEStalgia i wasn’t comparing. My point was there are plenty of new games to play on PS5. The timed games i mentioned are available to play now on PS, that’s my point. I also mentioned PS5 versions of PS4 games.

@uptownsoul it’s the best Playstation line up to date. Returnal, Demon’s Souls, Deathloop, Horizon, Ratchet, Miles Morales, Gran Turismo 7, Forspoken, Sifu, Ghostwire Tokyo. Plus PS5 versions of games like Ghost of Tsushima, Uncharted 4 an Lost Legacy, God of War, Days Gone, etc. i do think Xbox have dropped the ball like they did with Xbox One. They’re letting Playstation run away with it again.

@TJ81 i’ll try that. Just wish you could switch icons on an all the world famous places are pointed out. Would make it much better. I found my house quicker than i could find the Grand Canyon an my house is way smaller an less famous.

I thought ya could do this with all games??? I downloader Sniper Elite 5 over a week ago.

I wish the map on Flight Sim highlighted famous land marks and buildings. Or maybe a search bar where i could type say Leaning Tower of Pizza or Grand Canyon an it shows me which way to fly.

@S1ayeR74 your acting as tho i’m hating on Xbox, i’m not. I have a Series X, my kids av Series S. It’s a fact tho MS av dropped the ball. Again. I’m not saying Flight Sim isn’t exclusive, i’m saying it isn’t a Series X exclusive, it’s an old game that was originally made for PC. Like i wouldn’t say Knights of the Old republic is a PS5 exclusive. Also some PS games come to PC, not all and they come out up to 4 years after release. God of War recently landed, Ragnorok is out in a few months.
