Today's Xbox Game Pass update for May included a bit of a surprise in the form of Vampire Survivors. This PC-only action game is all about slaying as many creatures as possible before time runs out... and that's about it, in a good way! Here's a quick developer breakdown:
Mow down thousands of night creatures and survive until dawn! Vampire Survivors is a gothic horror casual game with rogue-lite elements, where your choices can allow you to quickly snowball against the hundreds of monsters that get thrown at you.
Now, Vampire Survivors may look a little simplistic and something different to what Game Pass usually offers, but hear us out. The game has almost 100k reviews on Steam, sitting on an "overwhelmingly positive" rating at the time of writing. Baring in mind the game only launched last December, that's pretty good going!
Anyway, it's coming to PC Game Pass on Thursday, May 19th. As for a console version? Nothing's been revealed just yet, but we'll be keeping an eye out for any potential console release.
