Horror is back in a big way in 2022, with 'space horror' titles seemingly dominating recent game showcases. However, one that very much takes place on Earth, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, now has a release window, and it's coming to Xbox Game Pass day one!

Gun Media's latest asymmetric multiplayer effort (following its work on Friday the 13th) is coming to the service next year, across Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. A more accurate release date should be revealed in the coming months.

To accompany this Game Pass announcement, the team has provided a closer look at gameplay and well, it's looking mighty creepy indeed. The visuals match up nicely to the 1974 film, with a level of realism that makes it appear pretty unsettling, all told.

Will you be playing this horrific multiplayer title on Game Pass next year? Leave your thoughts down below.
