@mousieone tried it againast night as it was officially released and the audio was through headphones was much better

The audio with headphones is very choppy/stuttery

@mousieone just subscribed for a month to try it out using my dualshock 4, it's ok no real lag but I'm using headphones and the sound is choppy/stuttering in places

Going to order my razer kishi next week to try this out, dissapointed gears 2 and 3 aren't there though so basically I wouldn't fully understand the story? No point me playing that series yet.

@Justifier yeah most of the games are very lack luster, I wonder if people are just not interested or is it down to the price.

@Bobobiwan the PlayStation vr has sold over 5 million units by January 2020 plus games like hitman and iron man would of added quite a bit to those sales so I expect that figure to be around 6 million by January 2021, there is a market for vr albeit a small market, I think they need to bring the price down to £200 maybe £150

@blinx01 they have a new breath of the wild prequel in hyrule warriors, super mario 3d all stars, super mario 3d + browsers fury, a new limited edition fortnite Nintendo switch, and Mario kart live so far, I think that might be enough tbf

Going to wait til January/February to get the ps5 and maybe the series S, don't see any reason to get either console at launch both have hardly any exclusives at a launch (so far announced), calling it now the Nintendo switch will be the best seller this holiday season

@BlueOcean quick question to you aswell off subject, does the gamepass that's coming to mobile on the 15th September include all the games in gamepass on xbox one? And will xbox series X games that are coming to gamepass also be on the mobile gamepass? As when I get paid at the end of this month I'm thinking of getting the razer kishi and gamepass ultimate for mobile but can't find a definite list of what will be included on the mobile version

@BlueOcean yeah that's what's scaring me the cost of the ps5 ssd as I will mostly likely need and extra one day one, I play a lot of multiplayer games regularly on my ps4, I have Rocket league

And they alone take up around 550GB, god to think the size of these when they land with next gen upgrades, going to be one expensive gen for me thats for sure, but hopefully your are right and sooner rather than later there are cheaper options on the market

@Richnj wow 2TB for your wii u? That's like the entire wii u library lol and yeah I've been wanting a bigger card for my switch aswell but too pricey, I keep thinking for the price of the sd card I want I can buy a few new switch games 😂

@BlueOcean yeah to be honest it's another reason for all 4 next gen consoles to rake in more money by selling their custom ssds to get back some of the money they are losing out of due to selling at a loss.

@BlueOcean I agree as I believe the series S will outsell the xbox series X and give the ps5 a good run for its money, now if the series S also had a disk drive then I belive it would of sold maybe twice as what it will, only problem I see is the 500gb storage as the size of games are getting to be 50GB+ with some games like Red dead and call of duty being over 100GB imagine the size of those two being on next gen, and the price of an extra or bigger custom ssd costing around £170 minimum you may aswell get the series X

Problems I see with series S, You'll get worse performance, lower draw distances, worse textures more basic lighting, less environmental detail etc etc. The only times that won't be the case is if the game isn't remotely taking advantage of the Series X's power.

It has half the compute units, one third of the tflops and half the RAM. It's like comparing a PC from 5 years ago to a high end new PC. It even only has two thirds of the tflops of the XB1X and less than the PS4 Pro. Even adjusting for the fact the actual effect of each tflop is now higher (so an old thing with 4 would be less powerful with a modern thing with 4) that's still really bad.

Also being digital only and having only 500gb space it will fill in no time then have to pay £170 for an extra custom ssd which then brings the price closer the series X, the series S is looking more like its just for the casuals or just for people who want it for gamepass, which at the moment is likely why I will get the series S just to play gamepass

So that's where he disappeared to.....

So it cant run xbox one games with series X enhancements so obviously going to struggle to run actual series X games no?

@Richnj I think you hit the nail on the head and the switch and wii are perfect examples, 90% of gamers don't care about the power or who had the best graphics (especially when it's marginal), it all comes down to price and which has the 1st party games they want to play the most and for casuals and parents to get for their kids it's down to which is cheaper, and for the later it's the series S, I firmly belive the series S will outsell the series X and give the ps5 a good run for its money all on its own. Now if the series S also had a disk drive then that would sell even more crazy

@Menchi wouldn't pay too much attention to a certain 3 people on this site, they have xbox shrines in their bedroom and revise and gather facts and information 24/7 just to combat anyone who they believe is a troll or says a bad word about the xbox, e everyone else on here is alright though and not got their d**k in their xbox.

So you cant take his words seriously without definite proof and only time will tell when more demanding games get created in the future, hence why an article not long back mentioned that maybe some games won't be compatible with the series s and then there's this article which Devs are saying it could be a problem for multi plats

This was the highlight of the show for me looks super fun and immortals Fenyx rising will keep me satisfied until the next zelda

@xMightyMatt14x I definitely reccomend it I preferred days gone over the last of us 2, TLOU2 had too much story to a point where I thought it was a tv series lol but credit where its due it took some bold decisions and probably has the best graphics from any console game I've ever seen

@xMightyMatt14x I said that fable was an exception and yes hellblade was pretty good all across the board, state of decay 2 was lacking that extra polish to be a big budget game but who knows if state of decay 3 can get some good visuals and add some story then it could be the best post apocalyptic game around

@xMightyMatt14x if you like state of decay then maybe you would like days gone? Just swap the base building for a story, there's crafting mechanics and camps to upgrade and side quests etc playing days gone is was made me interested in state of decay 2

@themightyant the ori I played was on the switch and it just didn't do it for me and yes the graphics were good but I was using it as an example of not being a big budget first party title

@GamingFan4Lyf seems you're getting some grief for agreeing with me, I should point out to people I was talking about the big Big budget games with realistic next gen graphics and amazing story and gameplay, not indie level games like ori and sea of thieves, battle toads etc and wasteland 3 is multi plat. Only ones that match that criteria are gears and halo and they are shooters

And I really enjoyed state of decay 2 on gamepass using my phone but still wouldn't call it a big budget game and story was no existent, fable would most like really interest me though

@BlueOcean doesn't the xbox series X have an expensive ssd and liquid cooling?
The ps5 outer shell should be cheap plastic as I'm hoping they are replaceable to customize, but yes the controller might cost a bit

@rjejr if the xbox series X is more powerful than the ps5 then surely the X costs more to make? So Sony matching the prices shouldn't be a problem as its Microsoft who would be losing more money

Gamepass is awesome value I have to agree and would be the only reason il get a xbox series S, But xbox have still yet to show me any exclusives that give me that wow factor that the PlayStation exclusives bring, I'm tired of shooters and Xbox's two main exclusives are shooters the other is a racer (forza) and I'm not into sports games, I'm onto Rpg's and action/adventure and the blockbuster third person games and so far xbox don't deliver on that front for me, if they step up their game on that front then id gladly complete the console trio. (switch/ps5/series s)
Saying that I hope state of decay 3 is something special as state of decay 2 was one of the games I enjoyed most on the Xcloud beta on my mobile

Let's be honest Microsoft HAVE to go all out this gen after the abysmal last gen, if they failed this gen then that would of been the end for their console division, but looks like they have clawed some ground back with this and the series S

@BlueOcean oh ok so what is teraflops used for? As for what I understood the xbox one x had 6 teraflops and 12GB RAM, meaning the xbix series s is weaker than the last gen "Pro" consoles

Also 4 teraflops compared to 12 teraflops? Surely It will struggle to play some of the games, that's why I think some games will only be compatible with X

At that price then the rumours about it being weaker than the xbox one x may be true, this is for the people who want to play the next gen games but not with next gen graphics or speed, and also can see some xbox series X games not being compatible with this

Whereas sonys digital only console will be the same of the normal ps5 just without the disk drive, so I think sonys will cost more

Already completed on both ps4 and switch over the last two years but will probably play on ps5 in a couple years time
