It's been a busy week for new releases on Xbox (we've actually had over 40 of them!), so it's no surprise that Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game has gone under the radar a bit - but it's certainly still got its fans on Xbox already.
Looking at the US version of the Xbox Store, Rooftops & Alleys already has a rating of 4.7/5 based on 67 user reviews, with 86% of players giving it a 5/5 score so far. There are definitely a few grumbles as well, with some highlighting bugs, awkward controls and poor performance (seemingly on Series S for the most part) - but don't get us wrong, the majority of feedback on Xbox has been very positive since launch!

It's a similar story on Steam, where Rooftops & Alleys has an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating based on over 5,000 user reviews (which includes everything from early access), while the recent reviews are "Very Positive". The gameplay is getting a lot of praise on there, while the grumbles are mainly about a lack of overall content.
Additionally, here's what some of the professional reviews have been saying about the game so far:
Impulse Gamer (8.6/10)
"Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game is a rare example of a focused vision executed with precision. It understands the appeal of movement not just as a means of traversal, but as a form of expression. It’s fluid, skillful, and deeply rewarding. While there’s room for growth in content and social features, what’s here already delivers an impressive foundation for the genre. With its complex moveset, robust customization, and adrenaline-fueled design, it simulates parkour perfectly and captures its spirit."
Loot Level Chill (7.5/10)
"Whether you play solo or with friends, Rooftops & Alleys will suck you in with its varied and seamless movement mechanics. If you’re the type of person who will hyper-focus on a single spot in Skate 3 for an hour trying to get the perfect line then you’ll get a lot of value out of this too."
Checkpoint Gaming (6/10)
"Rooftops & Alleys builds an incredible foundation with its dynamic and exciting parkour & freerunning. Although it can be very difficult to learn and is rife with inconveniences, slowly understanding how to navigate across rooftops becomes such a thrilling time. What holds the game back is how few options the player has to test their new abilities. Despite some solid foundations, a notable lack of interesting missions or enticing exploration makes Rooftops & Alleys feel a bit too empty."
We're definitely intrigued by this one at the very least! Rooftops & Alleys allows you to explore "massive-parkour-ready maps" either solo or with your friends, and apparently there are game modes (multiplayer-only) like TAG, Capture The Flag and Trick Battles, as well as hidden spots, time trials and trick challenges.
We'll throw more details about the game down below, along with a few official screenshots.
Rooftops & Alleys is more than just a game about Parkour & Freerunning. It’s the adrenaline rush of landing an impossible trick combo, defying gravity, and feeling like you’re flying… until you crash face-first into a dark alley 30 meters below.
