From an Xbox perspective, "yeah, pretty good all things considered". Game Pass was the star of the show. 🤩

@robe The Xbox platform transcends console hardware. You can be subscribed to Game Pass and not even own an Xbox, yet you're still part of that community. Engagement is the key metric.

I voted, "It was pretty bad, but I wouldn't get rid of it". And I really wouldn't. Yes, it was drab and underwhelming, but at least we knew where and when to be to experience disappointment (and one hell of a comeback 😎). You get rid of E3 and you add anxiety and uncertainty to the mix. Imagine what we got in these four days, but dragged over a couple of months. This year was bad, but 2020 was even worse.

I subbed to a YouTuber called Zuvi. She stated in a video that she and her husband have never owned or been interested in Xbox, but procured a Series S because of Game Pass. I imagine they're not the only ones. 😊

@themightyant Okay, but that really changes nothing, specially since like you said, "mostly Sony first-party AAA games, that are £70."

@UltimateOtaku91 My only two concerns were the state of Infinite's Campaign, as its release is still questionable and not much first-party until 2022. Other than that, I left with the impression that Xbox is the best place to play and it will only get better going forward. Game Pass is killing it! 🔥🔥🔥

@Richnj You got it wrong, I think. Gears 5 is widely regarded as an improvement (specially the campaign) over Gears 4 by both fans and reviewers. For some "reason", they ended up getting the exact same metascore. Don't ask me why.

@Richnj Going by review scores Gears 4 is just as good as Gears 5. Most people would disagree. The only score that matters is the one you award it.

@Dezzy70 According to VGChartz (yeah, I know), Xbox Series is outpacing Xbox 360 by almost 2M units in just six months, with NO first-party releases besides Gears Tactics at launch, so I don't know what you're going on about.

Youtubers do make a lot of money, but for themselves, not for MS. I think if games are going to be monetized, content creation tools must be embedded on them. I just don't see how.
