@Lup some of my fondest memories are playing Monkey Island 1 on the Amiga or games like WCW V World on PS1. Graphics arent all it is, I agree with you, it's a shame it's all about this except from indies

I may be in the minority here but I don't really know what ray tracing is nor do I care. Good games are good games regardless of graphics.

Also I just don't seem to have a lot of time these days to really tune into a game. Working full time, single parent and recently started a new relationship is very time consuming.

I did start Phoenix Point, played the tutorial missions then thought, nope this is not for me. Will prob try the Quarry out, then might dip into Guardians of the Galaxy

Personally I feel it is what it is. Yes rewards was great, I earned enough over time for 3 controllers, numerous games and my last splurge was an amazon voucher but good things come to an end. I'll keep earning but not as devoted to it as I once was.

It looks interesting enough so I'll give it a go if it drops in price. I'll just add it to my back log😢

RE4 remake, Alan Wale 2, BG3 and if I can see an older game that captures my eye, like Asterigos

@HonestHick honestly I played of at launch on an One X and I had zero issues. Then when it still wasn't hit with its improvement patches, I played it on Series x and again no major issues. OK the police thing was annoying but it wasn't game breaking for me at least.

I remember beating Grandia 2 on ps2, must have been about 20 years ago. Poss 22 years. Don't remember much else except I enjoyed it. Will prob pick this up. Rose tinted glasses?

Have a good fee. Even XIII(which isn't as bad now as when it first released, quite enjoyed it actually). Got Gears, Mafia 1+2, Borderlands. Couple of others that I can't remember atm.

Well I'm working my way through the remaster of XIII. It's not amazing but it's hitting the right nostalgia feels for 23 year old me (I'm 44 now). Enjoying it. I'll prob beat that over weekend. If I have time I'll go into either Yakuza Judgment or I might give Elden Ring a go.

@JoakimZ yes 100%. Loved them years ago. Don't think I ever beat fallout 2. When you got the car in that was a game breaker

@Dimey I think most Xbox are digital gamers. Whilst Game have always been PS centric, I used to buy physical from them 360/Xbone. But since gamesharing took off for me, I've been purely digital.

I went with kotor 2, but that just beat Alpha Protocol, imo. Both games brilliant

For me its to try and get some more gaming in. So in last year and half, my marriage broke down, ended up having to get a new house for my daughter and I, and arranging custody agreements. Work is always a drag but things are looking up. I've got a new GF, who's not a gamer but is cool with it and my daughter is into her 3 semester of high school. So I would like to get a bit more in. Really in the last half year I've only really played Lies of Pi

I work over the festive period, and I've started a new relationship so that's a time stealer too. I'll try and get some Evil West in and thinking about Pillars of Eternity

Tend not to bother with it. I mostly full shut down games after saving them anyway.

I think I'm going to just cash out now. I've done well out of MS rewards but it's not getting to be a chore for me. I'm missing more and more days and tbh I'm struggling to care now. Had 140k, and redeemed them over time for couple controllers. Got Artic camo, OPI and had to save for Starfield. I'm back to 72k atm but I've fallen away from point grabbing a bit. I'll maybe cash these in for Baldurs gate

Greedfall. Couldn't beat Nameless Puppet in lies of P. Shame as I really wanted to beat the game too.

I wasn't impressed at all with Starfield, just my opinion. It's well made and you can see the devs put a lot of time into it but I personally felt it was Fallout 3 in Space.

Never had a single ad like this. All I get is the small tile ads. Didn't get it for Starfield or Forza either. Targeted users maybe?

Brilliant game. I'm on Laxia on chapter 11 atm. Been struggling. I know I'll beat her eventually but I've been stuck for about 2 weeks now 🙃. First part I absolutely demolish her, when she gets rid of armour. I usually get mauled.

Fallout 3, the sense of isolation and wonder as you leave the vault for first time. Dragon Age 1, a real rpg on the consoles! And Lost Odyssey such a moving game

@Lavalera the IP owners want to make fast cash and the studios who buy them know there is a dedicated fan base who'll buy anything with their favourite IP on it. Be it Star Wars/Trek/LOTR or Walking Dead

Loved The Walking Dead, finished the main series, got mostly through Fear, haven't really bothered with the Negan series and despite my favourite character being Daryl, I haven't seen any of his new series. Maybe it's Walking Dead fatigue for me? Also I mostly gave up on Fear after my favourite character died.

Got it in 2009 I think, could have been 2010. To be fair to MS they paid for everything, pick up, return and it was a new console I got back

Played this for a bit, first couple chapters maybe, then fell away from it. Really wanted to get into it though. I was on PC when it had its indie launch and it looked brilliant

Didn't have it this morning, went out, ran a few errands came back couple hours later and the new dash was there. 2 minds atm, it is cleaner but the tiles are smaller and my eyesight isn't great

I've "bought" 3 controllers using reward points since last November! UK based and the points are there to be made. Got the blue camo controller, the OPIE one and the Starfield one. All cost me £0.

Converted last week and got the full bhuna, 36 months

Not sure about everyone else but I'm really struggling to get into games atm. Nothing seems to be grabbing my attention, got some personal things going on atm too. Just gaming doesn't seem to be doing it for me atm
