We know how amazing Microsoft Rewards is, but did you know that if you live in a certain region and you have access to all the MS Rewards benefits on offer, you can make around 10,000 Microsoft Rewards points per-month?
That's the equivalent of almost £10 / $10 worth of free Xbox credit every single month! Sure, it's not as much as it used to be (20,000 was very possible up until 2024), but £120 / $120 worth of credit in a year isn't bad at all.
In this Microsoft Rewards guide, we're going to break down how you can earn 10,000 points per-month with the help of Xbox, but keep in mind that certain offers are only available in specific regions and to specific users, so while we're able to take advantage here at Pure Xbox, you unfortunately might not be able to.
So, if you want to know how to get Microsoft Rewards points fast, follow these tips and you'll be all set.
July 2026 update: Some regions are starting to receive an overhaul to the Microsoft Rewards program that adds new a Silver and Gold membership system and significantly alters how the browser and PC-based activities work.
This hasn't rolled out to everyone yet (specifically most people in the United States), but if you're seeing references to "Silver" and "Gold" rather than Level 1 and Level 2 when accessing Microsoft Rewards on a browser, you'll know that you're now part of the new system.
We've decided to update this guide based on the new system that everyone will seemingly be receiving, rather than the old one being sunsetted. So, the following guide will apply to those who see a dashboard that looks like the one below.
The other thing to keep in mind here is that although your main Microsoft Rewards overview can be accessed via the Microsoft Rewards dashboard website, you'll get a totally different (and arguably more useful) view of it when searching on Bing and clicking your profile icon in the top right. You can see a look at both views in these images:

Daily Tasks
Kicking off our Microsoft Rewards guide, here are some examples of daily tasks:
Bing Searches
Every day, once you've achieved Gold status, you can use Microsoft Bing to earn up to 60 points via PC and mobile searches. The old Level 2 system used to award points across different devices, but now they're all combined into one.
- Bing Searches = nearly 2000 points per-month
Explore on Bing
In addition to all the points you get with your Bing searches, you'll find an "Explore on Bing" section where you're prompted to search for specific things each day for an extra 10 points each.
- Explore on Bing = around 1000 points per-month
Daily Set
Every day, if you log into the Microsoft Rewards dashboard on a browser (including the Microsoft Edge app on Xbox), you can complete a daily set worth at least 30 points per-day, and you'll get bonuses for doing this daily as well.
- Daily Set = around 1000 points per-month
Daily Play
If you play any game from the Xbox Game Pass Premium or Ultimate library for at least 15 minutes, you'll earn 10-20 points for that day depending on which tier you're subscribed to. Obviously that's not a huge amount, but it gives you around 600 points if you do it all month — better than nothing!
- Daily Achievement = 300-600ish points per-month
Visual Search
If you do a Visual Search with Bing every day, you'll get 5 points and occasionally an extra 100. We find that the easiest way to do this is to visit the Bing Camera website and click one of the sample images.
- Daily Search = 400ish points per-month
Daily Check In
If you use the Microsoft Bing app on mobile, you can sometimes earn around 100 Microsoft Rewards points per-week as part of the "Daily Check In" feature, which simply requires you to hit the "Rewards" tab and then press "Day 1" (or whatever day you happen to be on) as part of the "Daily Check In" tab.
