Paramount released its official trailer for Season 2 of the Halo TV Show yesterday, and while it's got some fans excited, some others are seemingly frustrated by the new promotional poster.
Yes, alongside this official trailer, there's now another promo poster for Season 2 and it also features Master Chief without his helmet on. As you might recall, the original Season 2 poster was quickly photoshopped by fans to change this and now it's happened again with this new one.
As you can see, fan versions doing the rounds on social media and pages like the Halo subreddit, show photoshops of Chief with his helmet on:
While not everyone is completely opposed to Chief's helmet being off, part of the frustration seems to stem from the fact he's often taking it off in the most dangerous situations. Even in the new trailer, you can see he's in some firefights and an Energy Sword battle without his helmet on.
Some users online have also defended the helmet being off - noting how John isn't always wearing it in the books. In the games though, Chief is rocking the helmet throughout his adventures, even during moments of downtime.
