This is one of those games right that looks like another game you’ve played right? Or another game you’ve seen being played right? Because it definitely looks like another few games we’ve seen right? So I mean? Why the let down? It looks and plays like a lot of the other same games; this may sound racial right now but it’s like saying you’ve played one western RPG you get the ropes for all the other ones; well folks you’ve played one Asian studio action game you’ve played them all

NIERreplica or whatever that one was called originally it literally has the same issues; same enemies spread out and combats only as good as you can make it with skill and unlocks: it’s not DMC: it’s not Skyrim; it’s an Asian action game ~

I don’t want to start a gang war but I read so reviews now from well respected sources and it seems they all want to point out bugs as why they have rated it as such fair or mediocre ratings; but then something like CP2077 came out broken and the same sources were highly praising of the game with a much more high review score; I think this game needs some patches before it’s reviewed for a score properly from what’s been reported

@betterthings my opinion on GTA is how I think about super hero movies at this point it’s become so mainstream it will please the average masses and not the hardcore fans like us people posting on this forum
I mean I think GTA doesn’t feel like GTA since having online GTA be the main course…with no Houser involved; GTA trailer looks like a dude holding a girl by the waist at every trailer; I like my games to be fun and I taught the likes of GTA4 was very social satire gold versus 5 where I think the single player was very cool thanks for all the playable characters: but as we age as gamers don’t you guys miss having a brand new game? Not just another part to a continuing series; especially one like GTA where the story only is as good as you’d allow it to be if you think about it; I’ve talked to people who don’t remember much of a social satire at all; they just remember robbing and killing NPCS

I haven’t been a fan of GTA online for a minute now; the characters introduced are very LOW BAR and if I have to play a game where I have social media influencers as buddies and then some dude dressed like Fred Durst in 2001 is telling me what to do?! No thanks I’ll skip it.

I mean at this point personally I skip on most releases when they do come out because they’re so buggy or takes a year to get patched….like if elder scrolls did come out next week I wouldn’t buy it until 2 years from now when the game of the year edition comes out with all the patches and DLC

@Fiendish-Beaver I would have said I concur doctor but we seem to be forgetting that these shell of a soul of companies has increased prices maybe three times in little over a couple years on the product currently for sale; then we have semi conductor issues across the globe: and WAR NEVER CHANGES scenarios as well: so that’s why I push it back farther; I don’t see them coming out with a new console to say hey guys you can buy this series X for $800 or you can buy Helix now for $1200 the price of a used relic still working 1992 Mazda Mx5……see what I mean ya angry beaver!!!

I’ll be honest; I kept switching backgrounds for days I have to admit that I resulted keeping the standard green waves the Xbox series X came with after all, but I really like the backgrounds; I mean it’s not like I spend too much time looking at that stuff anyways when I use the series X but it’s cool. It’s definitely not a new one but I think the Dead Space dynamic background that’s available is gnarly!

I sorta miss those grab and get for free games back with Xbox live; I think some games weren’t so awesome but I have to bow and say I totally remember grabbing stuff like crisis 3 and even crazy taxi all through that now dead feature

I think like Mr Cage and others that have posted comments and played it seems all presses of this game (the OG version back on 360 than the Xbox one ultimate edition and now the former version on series X) I can attest that gears looks just as beautiful as always that game and the engine it runs in are a perfect match as it was back in the day. But darn if they didn’t really add anything to this because where it shines it lacks just as well; if you were looking for another release of gears to be able to play with players on other consoles on modern servers this is the best version! besides that though the series x version isn’t much of a stand alone; the AI was not fixed so you’ll see in single player if you play alone it sure is a lovely but lonely mess and maybe at times you’ll find a mission over screen because of AI Dom (Dum) and not you (lonely Marcus)
Honestly the Xbox one version was such an upgrade with Dolby vision and faster load screens and frame rate that playing any of the 3 available versions is a good experience…so yeah I like that new version but I have to be real and say it’s not much of an improvement and the AI says it all.

@Eastergregg i have that game on disc and its sad to say when they released Golden eye on Xbox as part of rare replay disc owners miss out on it as you either have to get the game digitally as a whole again or NEED gamepass to play it

@SirStephenH YES! I sure hope they do! I would love to play Quake4 on the series X maybe with Dolby Vision upgrades or even FPS Boost and Auto HDR like most of the BC games available now. It’s cool you can use keyboard and mouse on series X at times but I think it would be even cooler playing PC gamepass available games like Starfield or classic Fallout on console too!

How about getting some of the ones that are on PC actually back on the console?! It’s weird seeing stuff like Quake 4 for gamepass but only on PC and not a ported version for gamepass on consoles…where is the equality factor??

…but let’s be honest…if you have an Xbox and don’t like halo we all get it we do; but halo no matter which one is literally the Skyrim in regards to they can release that game how many times they want and its player base new and old alike will purchase it…I know I bought halo CE evolved then the halo CE remake on 360 then the halo MCC and maybe later down the road this here halo campaign evolved too

@m0m0 yes actually they did way back then when they showed off in video the studio working on the remaster the people talking in that video from the studio actually totally mentioned them working on remakes for halo 2 and on as well. M0m0 was listening just as well as I was

It’s odd because I have a profile that instant signs in and one the controller signs in and then 30 other profiles mostly all registered as home Xbox but I had to log into each one separately for any games to show up in my library list from the purchased games on each profile. Some games have an ! symbol with the triangle but I can still play them…..then some games I tried to install and wouldn’t install like RE HD out of nowhere started installing although at a very slow pace…but still errors all around pretty much same as listed in this article and I started noticing this issue around a bit before midnight last night

& yes I have many accounts as I was blessed with a type of OCD that caused me to create many accounts in my youth and purchase games on all of them so now thank goodness Xbox allows over 32 profiles at once on one system because I literally have so many 😅 always a good day for mental illness awareness

I think it might be the outage has many issues but they don’t effect every system the same? I have some games for example that didn’t show up unless I signed in and out of the account; I have some accounts right now that don’t allow the home sharing feature to even work as they used to; and some games won’t download after clicking to install them (in regards to physical like you Sindayl all those copies of games work just fine: although I had already installed the update it requires online before this outage)

I play on a series X and since this game released I’ve been reading articles about it and watching the updates; idk if they added night vision goggles finally into the game?…but man I’ve been waiting for a sale of the ultimate edition of it on the Xbox store…now I see this and well; the waiting shall continue for more patches and more DLC: I have the trilogy and I think it’s super cool for what it’s worth; stalker 2 just looks so much more current that I feel like I’m messing out by not having tried it yet.

@ZeD they said 2…but…I have played them for less and not able to do a refund…so be careful if you are trying to buy games to try and then refund if they don’t work….i don’t think that’s a solid exercise for XBOX

@NicksyStixx12391 maybe they’re just mentioning another occurrence that is hindering the ability for them to enjoy the game library as well?
For example few weeks ago with the other outage my HOME Xbox kept saying I couldn’t play offline so I would go to the my home Xbox section in the settings and my account would be unchecked; so I kept pressing the check box…the bugged our menu; to me it wasn’t registering anything; but the next day that Xbox home setting was removed: so basically each input of selecting and de selecting it that was showing as not registering IT ACTUALLY WAS: therefore now because of that error I can’t make that Xbox my home Xbox anymore and I’m currently also not able to play any of my digital games anymore which is almost all of them at this point…? Maybe that’s something similar to what they’re getting at? Idk….but tis situation happened to me. When I reached over to Microsoft I just kept getting in contact with the help desk AI and it wouldn’t help me get in contact with a human for support. So I’m stuck now waiting an entire YEAR until I can make it my home Xbox again….let the sad music play

You know since Bond & Phil exited it seems Sharma has just been sending us Meta style tech support; so XBOX as now in all CAPS keeps getting bugged and silly new add ons like another UI to the dashboard that makes you aware of all the upcoming issues XBOX is going to have under new leadership?….wait I mean; we all love Sharma…or w.e. just make the almost $900 + priced console (in regards to purchasing extra storage after) playable FULLY; all CAPS lol FULLY PLAYABLE XBOX SERIES X sounds amazing.

I tried downloading my backwards compatible digital copy of RE HD to the series X last night around 11pm EST and nothing would download. Reported. See today the outage is full on: and it’s been 12 hours since that moment. Do they have actual humans working on this or AI? I’m not sure but either way seems like more issues with every fix lately in the constant updates the console has been having since Sharma took lead…debate now!

I was gonna hold off….but seeing some pretty new games go on sale for more than half off was a no-brainer. Ended up buying HELL IS US the Deluxe Edition for only $15; the game got some updates recently too so I think it’s a perfect sale for a great time to start playing that! So far it is very cool, and for anyone who likes story games and puzzles I’d give it a chance!
Found out I had rewards waiting so I cashed those into gift cards in the XBOX store and bought those last three Tomb Raider games that had come out not the OG ones but the remakes also all of those were deluxe editions and each one was about $3 so thanks XBOX for the summer sale!

Also anyone debating PS6-PS7 etc

Ben, let’s face it…DF has and will be a baseless fruit we all eat from once in awhile it only taste good when we’re in the mood for it…I recall DF claiming CyberPunk on the Switch 2 was AMAZING and SUPERB graphic quality; then fast forward a week they put out another video stating it was OK and that the Xbox Series S version was now better than the Switch 2…do you remember the very bearded fella at digital foundry claiming Xbox was dead and all this other blah blah..cause those guys are those kids in class that they have money for the good toys and they know the meaning behind big words but they’re as lost in class as everyone else when a new subject comes around. Therefore Xbox is dead when Microsoft one day shuts down. The fact they think they’re some inside scoop Oracle and can know and state when some a huge company is just going to stop making games; it’s ridiculous. I know they have accents and that makes them sound even smarter but it’s just an accent boys; them guys know nothing.
