Beast Of Reincarnation Comparison Shows Difference Between Xbox Series X And Series S

We're kicking off August in a big way with the addition of Beast of Reincarnation to Xbox Game Pass, which is officially available now as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass tiers if you want to check it out.

Most of the reviews for this one only went live a few hours ago as well, which means all the footage was embargoed until the same time. Fuzion Xbox Testing immediately posted their comparisons of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions when the embargo lifted, so we thought we'd take a quick look at them.

There's one thing we need to mention first though - Beast of Reincarnation received an emergency 32GB Xbox patch to fix some FPS drops and stutters just six hours after it went live. All the footage below is taken from the pre-patch version, so the performance might actually be better than what's displayed in the following two videos.

On Xbox Series X, Beast of Reincarnation is outputting at 4K, 60FPS in both Quality and Performance Mode, although the internal resolutions have yet to be detailed. The initial pre-patch footage shows Quality Mode jumping around between 45 and 60FPS for the most part, whereas Performance Mode mostly sticks to around the 60FPS mark. Both of them look great visually, so we'd probably recommend sticking to the Performance Mode based on this footage.

On Xbox Series S, Beast of Reincarnation definitely looks a lot softer than its Series X counterpart, but you're still getting two modes to choose from, including a Performance Mode that mostly reaches 60FPS. Just like on the Series X, the pre-patch footage shows Quality Mode bouncing around 45 to 60FPS in general.

Again, we must reiterate that there were a lot of initial complaints about stuttering in both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions of Beast of Reincarnation, but the emergency patch seems to have fixed those issues at first glance:

We'll leave you with both of Fuzion Xbox Testing's videos on Beast of Reincarnation down below, and don't forget that you can start playing it right now with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Enjoy!
