It's only been just over 24 hours since Beast of Reincarnation made its debut across multiple platforms (and on Xbox Game Pass), but the development team at Game Freak are already busy preparing its first update.
That update will arrive at some point over the next week, and will feature five specific types of improvements that have been outlined on social media. These are as follows:
- Camera adjustments
- Increased text size
- Story pacing improvements (ongoing adjustments planned)
- Changing the default setting from Cinematic to Performance mode
- Other bug fixes
Beyond this, they also say that they're planning "a series of continuous updates" for the future, and they've shared a feedback form where you can send requests for improvements if there's anything specific you're having a problem with.
As you may have seen, the reviews for Beast of Reincarnation were decent but not spectacular earlier this week, and the game has a "Mixed" rating over on Steam, so here's hoping these improvements will iron out the kinks a little bit.
And by the way, the reason we say this is the first "major" Xbox update is because there was actually an emergency one on the day of launch, pushed out to fix some glitches with performance. That one was specific to Xbox, whereas this next patch with the five improvements will be available across Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
