In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment at the end of the Xbox Games Showcase today, Xbox boss Phil Spencer teased four massive Xbox games coming out in 2026, including two that we've never heard about before!
Phil listed the new Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, a new Forza game (!) and an unknown "return of a classic":
"I'm excited to share that players will get to celebrate 25 years of Xbox with a new Fable, the next Forza, Gears of War: E-Day and the return of a classic that's been with us since the beginning."
We're assuming the new Forza game will be Forza Horizon 6, although there's a chance it could be a new entry in the Forza Motorsport series as well. Maybe it'll be a different kind of spin-off altogether? We'll have to wait and see.
As for the returning classic, we have no idea what that might be right now, but it casts our minds back to last summer when a Halo: Combat Evolved remaster was rumoured to be coming to multiple platforms - that would fit the bill, right?
