I loved Carrion when I played it back in 2020. Highly recommended if you want a Metroid-vania where you play as John Carpenter's The Thing.

@UnusedBabyWipes Or just ones that are a pain to do. The upgrade materials for the pods are so rare, I didn't bother farming them and just bought the achievement. It's a really interesting approach to achievements.

Can we get the option to remap the equivalent button on the Elite controller to be the Share Button? That's been one of my only complaints with my Elite 2, and I have yet to use the different profiles.

I have Hitman 2 through PS Plus, but this certainly sounds like the way to play the whole series. With any luck I'll be finished with Yakuza: Like A Dragon in the next day or two; nearly done with my grind to take on the True Final Millennium Tower.

As someone who had never bought an Xbox system before, the Series S was a great way to lure me in. And now I'm hooked!

Oo, I'll definitely get Gunvalkyrie if it does come out. Not my top-pick for Sega Xbox games, but it's something I'd love to play.

I might get one of these, if they work well for a Series S.

Hopefully XIII will stick around a while. Between Lost Judgment, Metroid Dread, Shin Megami Tensei V, and all the thing's already on my backlog, unlikely to get to XIII this year.

I picked The Witcher 3 up for sale shortly after it left Game Pass, but I've barely touched it. At this point, I'll wait for the upgrade.

I've played four Yakuza games so far--0, Kiwami, Kiwami 2, and Judgment. They've all been incredible, and Judgment is probably my favorite of them. If it weren't for Shin Megami Tensei V, Lost Judgment would be indisputably my most anticipated upcoming release.

Guess I better play Outer Wilds in the next couple weeks.

I'll definitely play Mass Effect and Dragon Quest Builders 2 eventually, but they're probably not priorities for the moment. I just bought Judgment for my Series S and New Pokémon Snap for my Switch, and Shin Megami Tensei III is coming at the end of May, so no new games for me for the time being. I also should finish the first Dragon Quest Builders before I start on the sequel.

Very excited to play this. I'm finishing up Kiwami 2 soon (a few more substories left, plus Clan Creator and Majima Saga), and this will be the next Yakuza game I play.

Very cool. I still need to finish the first DQB, I beat the first two worlds I think and then got sidetracked. Should finish that up so I can start the sequel.

I'm a recent convert to Xbox, having gotten a Series S back in December. 90% of my gaming time since then has been on the Xbox, and other than Control and some smaller games, everything I've been playing on it has been Game Pass. It was absolutely the system-seller for me, and I don't think the Series S would've held much appeal for me otherwise.

@PuppyToucher Oh yeah, I had one of the last rooms of the game seriously glitch out on me, to the point where I couldn't find my way out. Quitting and restarting seemed to resolve it.

I played through both Gato Roboto and Deliver Us The Moon the last few nights, and they were both very enjoyable. In some ways, glad they're leaving Game Pass so I could prioritize playing them. I liked Gato Roboto more, but Deliver Us The Moon was quite enjoyable.

I grabbed The Witcher 3, as it had just left Game Pass and I never got around to playing it--was waiting for it to go on sale again, and $10 seemed very reasonable. I also considered Yakuza Like A Dragon, but I've spent enough recently and have enough on my backlog (including all the Yakuza games I haven't beaten yet) that I decided I'll wait a bit longer. It'll be on sale, maybe cheaper, again, and I wouldn't be surprised if it came to Game Pass once it was more than a year old.

My big hope is that all the Cave shmups on the 360 get backwards compatibility. Guwange seems to be the only one who has it. Cave did so much support for the 360--although they seem to have tapped entirely out of the console market. Maybe just have to wait for more M2 releases.

I absolutely adore Octopath Traveler, it's one of my favorite Switch games. Excited more folks are gonna play it.

Also great to have Yakuza 6. I took a break after playing 0 and Kiwami 1 back-to-back, but I need to return to my Yakuza playthroughs soon.

I bought Lost Odyssey like a month ago (still haven't started it). Oh well!

I've been meaning to get to both Bloodstained and The Witcher 3 eventually. Thankfully I already have a copy of Bloodstained for the Switch, and The Witcher 3 seems to be on sale constantly, so I should just bite the bullet and buy it.

My hope is that nothing major I want to play is leaving this month. I've been playing my Series S pretty much non-stop since I got it in December, but Persona 5 Strikers just arrived, so my plan is that once I'm done with Nier Automata I can go back to my PS4 and play through P5S and maybe knock one or two more things off my PS4 backlog.

I appreciate the massive rights issue the music for a game like this. But it is sad that my absolute number one backwards compatibility request (next up would be all of Cave's shmups they released for the 360) will likely never be re-released.

I really wish they would announce the leaving titles for the whole month. I get that there's no doubt some very complicated contractual stuff going on here, but I'd much prefer a month's notice to finish up things.

There were a ton of shmups, especially from Cave, during the 360 era. I'd love to see those re-released. I think Deathsmiles and Akai Katana were the only ones that had Western releases at the time, but they were all or almost not region locked, so it'd be great to see DoDonPachi DaiOuJou, Espgaluda II, Mushihimesama and others. Pity that Cave seems to have no interest in the console market anymore.

I don't tend to switch between a lot of games--I tend to focus on just one thing at a time, till I've beaten it. What I have found Quick Resume excellent for is having my Series S set to Energy Saving mode and being able to pick right up where I left off. It's nice to be able to turn the system off more fully while not having to worry about long load times to get back into the game.

@Generik I'm around the same spot, near the end of Chapter 7 (which I detoured from to finish the first part of the Cabaret Club side-game). I'm probably gonna take a break after 0 before I start Kiwami, but I'd love to try and get through the series this year too.

I'm about halfway through Yakuza 0.

I'll stick with the white controller that came with my Series S until they release one in purple or pink.
