I've had a total of 320000 points and I started when the series X and s released.

Can't remember what I spent them on in the past other than cyberpunk and it's expansion.

I'm surprised with how many updates this game keeps getting. Maybe it's time to check it out.

@Deformedpye Agreed. And while blockbusters may have disliked netflix putting them out of business that's on them. They could have invested in and became a netflix competitor. They didn't and consumers (overall) chose to pay monthly for film and TV show rental. Consumers having more choice is what I see when I look at gamepass. Jimbo is clearly very scared to be speaking about it in such an absolutist, disparaging way.

It's meant to be great. Was waiting for a sale on switch but it never happened. UK.

It happened to me 137 days ago. Before that I had over 365 consecutive days logged.

I wouldn't worry too much. Unless you are certain the fault lyes with them in which case an email may help?

But its happened twice to me now... Not ideal but also could be much worse I suppose.

Sony are pathetic. I thought this months ago as a result of their acquisition BS. I think it even more strongly today.

I say again I love ps games but I will not be buying a PS5 unless it's on eBay. Same for any game I want to play. eBay all the way. Never giving a penny to Sony again.

Potentially harsh viewpoint incoming. I've had a Switch since it launched and same for the Series X. I always wanted a playstation 4. I still have the Amazon wish list for the games I'd get. But seeing the lies spouted about believing in generations, the price hikes on games and the PS5, the ***** show with next gen upgrades, the desecration of GT7. The attitude during the ongoing Activision blizzard acquisition; being an open and shut case in my opinion. I don't believe Sony and think they are fighting the inevitable and damaging their relationship with Microsoft. I could be proven wrong on that. But I'm sure I'm missing things. I had wanted a PS5 till I saw how big and ugly it was then I told myself mid gen refresh should be smaller and look better, I'll get that. Well maybe I'm spiteful but I know now I would not only buy everything 2nd hand on eBay if I go ahead with plans to play Sony exclusives. Purposefully to not give Sony a penny directly. The holding up of this acti blizz acquisition was the final straw. Jim Ryan has made so many missteps imo this gen. Sony's reputation in my mind is shot and they no longer deserve my custom. That's me, my decision. Do what you want obviously!

I've been following it and I was close to buying it when it was recently discounted to £350.

I've just nabbed it at the £266 price, split over 5 months at just over £50 a month. Makes it much more manageable. I have almost paid off a new MacBook Pro m1 pro too split over 12 months. A few more months to go at the rate I'm paying back.

Anyway... I already have the 1TB card. Now I can hot swap em and stop having to copy between my two 5TB HDDs and the internal 1tb and the 1tb SSD. At least it minimises the issue and gives me more storage.

Again, this is a huge discount and like I did with the 1TB micro storage card for my switch, my MacBook Pro and 5TB HDDs and some semi decent headphones...I'm happy to pay it off over time at 0% interest and no credit check. Thanks Amazon!

@SingleStooge I had heard from a friend it had boosted sales of the game. He didn't know by how much though. I look forward to finally buying and playing it. I was so hyped for years then red flags then I didn't buy it...seems it's time to finally visit night city

I wonder how much the netflix anime, cyberpunk edgerunners helped sales. Because that's a great series and I've never even played cyberpunk. I intend to buy it soon though. The anime I'd say is what reignited interest for me. That and the knowledge it's been patched a load and the series X version being available now too (well has for a while now) is motivating me. But predominantly the anime.

It's a shambolic game. Apauled it was allowed to come to market. What a total joke. Glad it's failed or underperformed. The bottom line $ is ultimately all companies care about and this needed to happen to help turn the failing ship around, if that's even possible at this point for this IP.

I heard the ending was pretty bad. Also the AI. I heard they have changed or lengthened the ending? If true I'm going to wait and see if that helps the game. Hopefully it's re-reviewed on xbox. Hopefully the ending will be mentioned. Spawnwave and skillup I'm talking about when I say "I heard".

Screw Sony with their hypocritical BS holding up the Activision blizzard acquisition. Pay whatever it takes every time Microsoft, to outbid Sony and get as many exclusives as possible. Or at least multiplat releases for as many games as possible. You have the money

@Alex79uk I completed and got all achievements for both Edith Finch and 12 minutes in the end. I enjoyed both tbh. 12 minutes was rather different. Glad I played them before they left Gamepass as I doubt I'd have ever purchased them. Backlog so big now I seem to play games about to leave the service Vs playing newly released Gamepass games. Not ideal!

Can't wait to try grounded (not played at all yet) for the first time and slime rancher 2 will be my first slime rancher game. Looks like great fun!

So that's 3 days to complete it (Doesn't take too long) and get all the achievements. As a bonus it's upgraded for free to the series X version. Only played it once a year ago roughly... It was alright. Definitely worth checking out before it leaves Gamepass. 3 days! Same for 12 minutes I believe? Not so sure on that one...

@Widey85 At a guess... Either didn't complete game. Artificial score increase due to advertiser deals and or business relationships with established IPs or developers/publishers...or artificial increase due to the game being 'woke'/diverse/anti capitalist. Speaks to some reviewers/outlets.

I can't understand how an objective review can be above 5 or 6 given all I've seen and read. I guess there's the possibility some outlets have reviewers who just don't know how to review games properly or have bad taste? Newbs with no taste? Maybe I'm missing some other reason.

This will help me as I periodically skim over my 200 games to see if I should delete any... main reason being they left Gamepass...and I always thought there should be something to say if you can't play an installed game.

@ultraviolet I could be wrong but I got the impression they outsourced the trilogy remake and the GTA 5 for Xbox Series and PS5 was done in house.

Looks great. I used to play either skate 1 2 or 3 (can't remember which, one of the 3) with a friend at university on the 360. Loads of fun. This looks really nice. Nice to see a next gen skate game.

I had wondered what content they offer.

I am spoiled for choice with BBC I player, YouTube, netflix, Disney plus and Amazon prime.

I predict it will fail to take off in the UK. I could be wrong but that's my guess. As has been said the UK has a bunch of streaming services already, which are more established with more content (I assume, from people saying paramount plus' offering is lackluster)

It will be my first time playing any persona game, unless you count Q and new cinema something something on the 3DS...

I feel like it's the worse of the two options. Ubisoft Vs Activision Blizzard. I feel that Microsoft couldn't try and buy Ubi, even if they wanted to...as surely it would look anticompetitive/monopoly like... and potentially could jeopardize the Activision Blizzard deal from going through...which already has some people worried about monopoly practices etc.

But I know nothing of business beyond what I've picked up here and there within gaming industry news. So correct me if I'm missing something!

It's available in the UK now too and apparently you get about 100mbits/sec

It does cost £450 for the satilte dish and rest of the kit as a one off then it's like £80 or £87 a month I think. So, expensive...but an option I didn't know was practical till recently. I'd probably get it if I couldn't get broadband but I can luckily. I live in a village and get 28mbits/sec which is good enough for me!

Rain on my parade is top my list of 'I should really play/finish before I have to pay for the privilege'.

Beyond paying for gamepass already obviously...

I was worried mass effect trilogy may be leaving. Considering I haven't even started that yet. Never played mass effect back when it originally released. Missed the boat on that one...or that 3 rather!

It only works for me on my phone; if I change to USA IP (I'm in the UK) I used to be able to bing search over VPN. Now though I can only do the clickable daily changing links, quizzes.

Still rarely do it cus I'm sure they will close that loophole eventually...also it's an extra hassle!

I have never once even connected the two in my mind. I have said and wrote it takes two countless times over what's app and Xbox party voice chat to coordinate play with a friend; and never have I thought of take two / GTA etc.

@SplooshDmg Same here! That level had bananas, grass and coconut's (I believe? May be misremembering) that were hidden a little too well.

I wonder if they sorted out the issue with not completing the final cook off challenge within time limit, thus not recieving final baggage tag required for said baggage in that level. You have to wait to complete the main story before it just becomes available to you. Would be nice if it were there when you just re-enter the level right away imo.

I 100%ed the game, achievements and all. So these QoL updates aren't that useful for me. Maybe on a second playthrough mind you. Which I will be doing soon for sure!

At least I can have some fun with my level 102 character against the new enemy rush/guantlent 'stage' at Otto's lab.

What a shame. The game looks pretty good but the victim complex, identity politics, sour ass tweet really sours my opinion of the studio.

No one cares what's between your legs. No one cares if your trans or gay or black or white or straight or even French. The vast majority of gamers care about talent and whether the game is good or not.

But no, let's roll out the woe is me sympathy card and alienate a large portion of people who are sick to death with politics and agendas in gaming.

As has been said, the time to release a metroidvania wasn't ideal with Dread as competition. Getting onto gamepass is an accomplishment too.

Exposure can be a problem for indie devs, of course, but it's got nothing to do with these Devs being Brazilian or trans. I know they didn't claim this outright, but it's the impression I get from their tweet.

I 100%ed it too. I'm proud I didn't use a guide at all. Shows the game does a good job of helping one find the secrets with in game hints and just intuitive secret locations in a lot of instances.
It did take me over 20 hours though!

I need to replay with just the umbrella as a weapon for the last 100 achievement points. So hard mode effectively since the umbrella has bad weapon stats.

I think I'll go for it tbh. I love the world so much. The atmosphere, graphics, characters, lore, boss battles, secrets etc. All top notch. 10/10 game for me!

Anyone else who 100%ed it think they took some inspiration from full metal alchemist?
