Announced during the Devolver Digital showcase earlier today, The Plucky Squire is a "charming action-adventure" game coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in 2023, and it looks to be absolutely jam-packed with creativity.
Seriously, this trailer is stunning! The 2D aspects of the game appear to take place within a storybook, and remind us a little bit of Cuphead, while the 3D portion kind of gives us It Takes Two vibes, although we haven't seen much yet.

Storybook characters discover a three-dimensional world outside the pages of their book and must jump between 2D & 3D realms to save their friends in this charming action-adventure.

@Royalblues it just looks like most companies are moving on, 3 years into the generation is about right. I have a switch, and I can tell you there are a lot of games on there that are there just because they "got it to run", but that run like crap lol

Digital revolver usually very good at picking great indie games, the 2D & 3D mixed gameplay looks really interesting, can't wait to try this 😃
Safe to say Devolver killed yet again. This and Cult Of The Lamb have got me pretty hyped.
Love that transition from 2D to 3D. However it would also have been cool to have experienced that for the first time in game. Hopefully there are other surprises.
Did anyone play Evoland or Evoland 2? Similar idea.
