Microsoft is bringing two titles to Xbox Game Pass today, including one much-anticipated Arkane shooter! Yep, former PS5 exclusive Deathloop hits the service today, September 20th, alongside spaceship salvaging simulator Hardspace: Shipbreaker on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S (it's already on PC as well).
Here's a little more info on both of today's new XGP titles:
Deathloop (Console, PC)
Today’s the day to break the timeloop and earn your freedom. You have 24 hours, 8 targets, and 1 rival assassin hunting you down. As Colt, the only chance for escape is to end the cycle by assassinating eight key targets before the day resets. Learn from each cycle, try new approaches, and do whatever it takes to break the timeloop. The island of Blackreef is waiting for you.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker (Xbox Series X, Series S)
Hardspace: Shipbreaker, the critically acclaimed and fan-loved zero-g, spaceship-salvaging workplace simulator from Blackbird Interactive and Focus Entertainment, is headed for console release on September 20.

I loved Prey. I enjoyed aspects of Dishonoured 2 although I found the whole chaos vs stealth arrangement off putting. They give you all these inventive ways to kill enemies but then chastise you for using them... it was weird. Hopefully I will enjoy Deathloop more.
Deathloop is great...can feel slightly daunting at first as to wtf do I have to do....but stick with it...it's pretty simple

I heard the ending was pretty bad. Also the AI. I heard they have changed or lengthened the ending? If true I'm going to wait and see if that helps the game. Hopefully it's re-reviewed on xbox. Hopefully the ending will be mentioned. Spawnwave and skillup I'm talking about when I say "I heard".
First time in a while I actually want to at least take a look at both releases.
Whether I play then to completion well the jury is still out on that one.
Hardspace looks awesome. Looking forward to that.
Anyone one the fence about Deathloop. Don't be. Sure. It is quirky in ways, but once you get, I mean really get it. Awesome game.
Is it the same release time for Shipbreaker i.e. 5pm BST?

I'm super excited to play both. I recently played through Prey (again) and Mooncrash (for the first time). I started giving Dishonored another try and I was getting into it.
Hardspace: shipbreaker is actually really good imho, took some time to get into the controls, and really had to go to bed, but took apart a whole spaceship nonetheless, couldn't stop lol, and it got me like 2.5 million credits , sounds like a lot , but the game starts you with a debt of 1.25 billion or something, hilarious
