@NEStalgia What makes you think Sony is small potatoes though? They've been around longer than Xbox and have much more of a stronger narrative and presence. Sony also have Cloud too with PS Now as well. If anyone knows more about the gaming business than Microsoft it's Sony.

@Dezzy70 How do you decide when wanting a game whether to get it for PS5 or Series X? Do you go by which console is your preference?

@Medic_Alert Until all these exclusives release on PS5 and Xbox will be probably left in the dust like last generation with the PS4. Once those PS4 exclusives came out that was it.

I know 2021 you could say was where Xbox had the most steam but that steam also ran out at the end of 2021. Now it's PlayStation turn beginning in 2022 and beyond, look at the amount of exclusives that will be coming.

Guys I'm worried that Microsoft are just going to quit the gaming division at anytime, it doesn't feel safe. There's no way im spending all this money and playing all these games on Xbox for them to just quit. The fact that they were considering this just because Xbox One was in a bad place shows they had no consideration for any of us, they would of quit and screwed us all over.

I may have to return back to PlayStation where it feels safer. I don't recall there ever being a time in PlayStation history were Sony was going to quit, even when they were in there darkest days with the PS3 and nearly declared bankruptcy they still didn't say they were going to quit the gaming division.

Is that quote based on now? Or back then with the Xbox One? If it's now then your kind of not safe because at anytime they may quit out of the gaming division.

@mousieone So in your personal opinion, can you ever see FF7 Remake ever coming to Xbox someday? I know that no one knows the answer to that but it's what your opinion is. Maybe if Microsoft offered a lot of money to Square Enix maybe they'll do it.

I always looked at it that pretty much all the other FF games are on Xbox so I don't see why not with FF7 Remake too.

But that needs to stop though, how can Xbox ever build a presence in Japan if they stick with that mentality? They need to give Xbox a chance.

Another Japanese game just announced coming to PS4, PS5 and PC but not Xbox. This is what I'm talking about.

@endlessleep Maybe this is why FF7 Remake isn't on Xbox.

@Savage_Joe Sony aren't to blame for FF7 Remake not being on Xbox. FF7 Remake exclusivity has now expired with Sony, its now free to go to whatever platform now and it still hasn't come to Xbox.

@BAMozzy I agree but they don't have a problem with putting in the work and "costs to port" with every other platform except Xbox though. What you said could also be said about PC, or Switch for example. It's always Xbox though instead.

@Fenbops I agree with you but that was back in the day with Xbox 360, not now. Even FF7 Remake still hasn't come to Xbox.

@Magabro Exactly. Every time a Japanese game releases for PlayStation and not Xbox I roll my eyes and think, well there's another Japanese game not coming to Xbox again.

And the biggest thing is when a Japanese game releases and it releases for every platform except Xbox? How does that even happen? Would it of been that difficult to release the game for just one more platform aka Xbox? There's no excuse at all for that. Why all the platforms and not Xbox? Surely it's not Microsoft stopping or saying no to the games? It has to be the developer not being interested in Xbox.

@pip_muzz What gives you that idea that Sony has turned its back on Japan? It's Xbox that's absolutely terrible when it comes to Japanese games and RPG games, as well as console sales in Japan.

Look at the Japanese games and RPG games on PlayStation compared to Xbox.

The game I'd love to come to Xbox is Sakura Wars that came onto PS4, I love that game.

I don't care about VR to be honest. For me personally, until they figure out a way to stop motion sickness I'll never be interested in VR.

Also, I don't think VR is the future of gaming anyway. I wish Sony would put all the effort and money etc in maybe another handheld or backwards compatibility instead.

@BAMozzy Only thing putting me off entering this is that I heard if you leave the insider stuff, your xbox has to be formated or something like that. Or you may lose all your settings etc.

@Turnip_Knight Really? When I stream on my console the games look degraded and you can clearly tell the graphics are lowered. The games to me look as though there in 720p or something.

@Berry-sXe That's what I've wanted too. I think being able to stream even the games you own would be great and not just locked to Game Pass only games.

@LtSarge Yeah but because of the Platinum Trophy it makes you strive to earn all other trophies In order to get it, more incentive.

If say you was 3 trophies or 3 achievements away for example, on PlayStation you're more than likely to strive for it knowing that if you earn those last 3 trophies, you'll get the Platinum. On Xbox in the same situation, screw it I'll move on, and that's because there's no Platinum equivalent or getting anything for it on Xbox.

To me saying I've got 500 Platinum looks and sounds better than saying I've got 500,000 gamerscore. That 500,000 gamerscore could literally come just from beating the main game with every game just once and not even from doing all there was to do.
