I understand this website is primarily Xbox oriented so obviously people will defend Xbox. I don't expect people here to be open and honest, I get that. And I'm not starting a back and fourth thing either.

@NEStalgia If Microsoft had the talent then you'd be seeing the, GOW, Horizon, Uncharted, The Last of Us for Xbox but you don't see that ever. Any one of those games is better than most Xbox exclusives any day of the week, look at Redfall. And I'm willing to bet that Starfield will be the same too, just mediocre exclusive after mediocre exclusive. They don't even know what a good game actually is.

I want this to sink in with everyone, Microsoft announce and release more controllers than they do games, how pathetic is that really.

I've always said it, Game Pass is Xbox biggest saviour but it will also be there biggest downfall and demise in the end. Game Pass is literally carrying Xbox and if it didn't have it, Xbox I doubt would even exist.

Say what you want about Sony but with the type of games they make, they are best in class. And the one thing that is a fact since the PS1 is that Sony has always delivered, always every generation.

Does this mean they can't buy ABK? What if the FTC say yes though? Why appeal this decision though? CMA will say no to the appeal if they said no to this anyway.

It's what I like to call the Game Pass affect. Game Pass conditions people to not want to buy games.

@DNortonX Microsoft purchasing ABK means and will change nothing. If anything, ABK as well as COD will be killed because of being owned by Microsoft in the end.

PS2 emulator in retail mode still works.

@NEStalgia Well in my opinion I think once the 10 year deal has passed and if Microsoft have enough player and money with COD, they will probably pull COD from PlayStation because they don't need Sony money anymore. I think there just using that 10 years to give them 10 years of building all this up so they can now pull it from PlayStation, that's more than enough time to make it happen.

It's also better for Sony to accept the deal and make some money than decline the deal and make nothing at all, something is better than nothing afterall.

@NEStalgia That doesn't really make sense to me. You have Xbox for everything except for the exclusives which is what you have PlayStation for. Why have PS though just for the exclusives when you can have that plus everything else too?

I'm not knocking that "gaming setup" but you could have all and everything on just PlayStation.

@NEStalgia I've been feeling that conflicted thing again that I believe I spoke to you before about between PS and Xbox. I even have RE4 Remake today and not played it because of this. I don't understand why I feel like this when I know PS is the console I prefer like I always have done since the PS1.

@Tharsman That's completely different. Microsoft need this deal more than what Sony don't want it. Sony with PlayStation are already hugely successful anyway.

@Tharsman It will all be over anyway when this deal doesn't go through and it won't go through. After this deal doesn't go through I'm willing to bet Microsoft will announce there quiting the gaming business and Xbox, just like they almost did after the Xbox One.
