@Markatron84 Or in some cases not released in a certain market at all because the publisher knows the game won't make it past the ratings board.

Will the games get special versions for Saudi Arabia? I know they have some laws about what can be in their games?

@yeaman It's still really expensive, especially the Xbox Ally X. Lots of gamers can't really afford that.

I'm already in franchise fatigue. I haven't been interested in the series in a long time

@Cikajovazmaj The console itself may be cheap, but the games and accessories are not. People still bought those in droves as well.

It's the Switch 2 all over again. An overpriced piece of hardware shocks people with its price tag, and everyone buys it anyways.

These prices are the definition of insanity. One THOUSAND dollars for the Ally X?! Seriously?!

Makes sense. After all, Forza is the biggest racing IP on Xbox, and timed exclusivity means a slight spike in hardware sales and Game Pass subscriptions. My guess is that the game will release late summer/early fall, but don't quote me on that, I don't think Microsoft is dumb enough to release it too close to GTA 6.

The reveal itself was pretty lame, but at least the game is coming. Japan is a cool setting for an open world game, and I can't wait to see what they do with it.

I wish Call of Duty was this dedicated to combating cheaters.

There is literally no reason to buy an Xbox now. $800 for the 2TB Series X is the definition of insanity.

Judging by the initial impressions online, I'd probably rather play THPS 3+4 or Skate 3. I'd try it, but my Xbox is busted.

I should also point out IGN gave this a better score than Mario Kart World, which definitely surprised me.

Having to regularly restart a game to keep it running well sounds like a pain in the a**.

@CaptainCluck I agree with you on the optimization part. If you want an UE5 game to run at all on a Series S, It must be well optimized (for Xbox, at least).

Being able to play the latest games is great, but the price hikes kinda made the value go away for me. $429.99 is too much for a "value" console with a decent amount of space.

This kind of sounds like Session: Skate Sim but with scooters. Pretty neat idea.

Personally, I don't think Far Cry should go the live service route, as there's enough live service games. Unfortunately, money is all these stupid companies care about.

Battlefield 6 seems better based on marketing, since COD is basically Fortnite now.

A lot of the more negative reviews say the game is monotonous and quite unpolished, an unfortunate case for a life sim game.

Mine is easily Burnout Revenge and the two TimeSplitters games that are BC.

It's not like anyone is gonna complain, since it never got much support at all.

That's a brutal amount of layoffs. How this will impact Forza Motorsport I have no idea.

I really love Burnout 3 and wish it was backwards compatible.

I'm not pleased with the state of the brand either. The price increases are total BS and essentially made it impossible to actually sell an Xbox console, which were already a tough sell at their old prices.

I have not played GTA IV, but this might be the best way to do so as it might clean up the visuals and fix some bugs.

I am NOT paying $80 for a Borderlands game. I will buy when it inevitably goes on sale.
