Gamepass attracts only pc and console guys. Not mobile/tv only owners.

Most console gamers are casuals and don't play/beat many games. So I'm surprised is this hight w/o major games out.

Because if this was only 23m from xbox users, that's half of xbox one consoles. Half of xbox community will be subbed to this.

I gotta admit. They haven't dropped any major game and it's this high. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets to 50m at the end of the gen and that's a good number.

MS does the exact same deals to exclude sony from some games, so I don't get any of these people. Gotta keep stabbing at the better selling consoles I guess.

@SegataSanshiro Smaller scale AAA games or remasters. That's my point. MS working deals is fine. They should always do. If they want to pay all possible earnings for some of these AAA games and put them on gamepass, that's fine, but I know that won't be a frequent thing.

@S1ayeR74 I agree with you on that. Jim Ryan so far has been bad for PS. People say he's selling ps5 consoles like crazy, but he isn't responsible for that. The guys who made ps4 great are.

@LtSarge I'm on the side of the consumer. I want bigger games. Being cheap doesn't help. That's all. I want more quality on my games. I'm actually thinking for myself. A lot you guys celebrate mediocre games just because they are free. Idc about that. I want quality games over a higher output of meh games imho.

Haven't played mgs1-4 neither lol.

I'm basing it off scores and overall reception by the community and % of completion. It's a very boring LOOKING game.

I'm not spending money to know getting shot hurts.

@TheFrenchiestFry DS is probably Kojima's worst game so I disagree. Haven't played it but the game looks boring to me.

@MajorSkol I don't get people like you. I'll give you an example. A girl tried to cheat on you. Do you still think she won't try to cheat on you? This is not the first time they do this (drm, $60 for online, heavy mtx games). The faster you learn corporations just want your money (just like sony wants $10 more for "next-gen" cross gen games), the better.

That is almost half of the xbox one sold. We have to consider pc gamepass tho. If only they showed numbers, because if out of the 20m, 15m are from... You can expect where ms is heading.

@UltimateOtaku91 I don't think so. The 2013 drm affected them. At least I hope they at least know that. Now I wouldn't be surprise gamepass goes up in price because they didn't get away with this and now f2p are actually free.

I really want to see how their xgs games look already. See any indication that they are wasting a lot of money that made this decision to recoup money.

@carlos82 You could always wait for sales. Seems you can't hold yourself not to buy sony games day 1. Godfall is the worst scored game of the ps5 right now. It was really bad from what I've seen. Destruction All stars is nowhere near worth $70.

Souls games never sell that great. People are scared of a challenge, but imo it's the best game of ps5 and I see a graphical improvement to justify the $70. We will have to see how Returnal manages it. If it's not this goty contender game, people won't jump in.

I think with Ratchet, God of War, Horizon 2 and Gran turismo would get away with it. Graphically they'll look better and have the franchise popular name.

Just like the always online drm, , first to make a paywall to play online and this... microsoft is always looking a way to screw you over. Hope nobody ever uses the word consumer friendly ever again.

@Hypnotoad107 The people you mentioned are the majority of gamers. People like you and me, that don't want to miss on playing games, are nothing.

We can expect a price hike of gamepass too. Don't know how much, but it WILL happen.
