I dont have a handheld (or gaming) PC in general, so that functionality combined with a robust Xbox digital library going back almost 2 decades interests me, but then I see I dont have access to most of it? The actual **** is that? Plus its 1300 CDN price tag for the 1TB version evaporates that interest pretty quickly.
Hell, 630 CDN for the Switch 2 is too bloody expensive IMO and this is more than double.
@Boogaloo_Jenkins ive been told by friends "steam is coming to xbox!" without looking into it, underwhelming. I will still just play on steam. I agree though, if Xbox runs steam games (and those PS exclusives on Steam) thats a huge bonus
I say fairly often; in that as about often as I purchase a physical Xbox game, I preorder it. I do believe some of the games I enjoy may have smaller runs, especially in the era of mostly digital and game pass.
I have never done a digital preorder that I can recall
My original 2007 Elite RROD'd after 18 months and I was able to get another 9 months out of a repair. My Elite JASPER chipset is still going, even after a ridiculous amount of Rock Band. So I vote Later 360
I have thankfully had no issues with my VCR X1 or Series X. I did buy a One X for a great deal locally but it wound up needing a new disc drive
Friends had OG Xbox, so I could play there, but I wasnt going to buy a 3rd system at the time.
I wasnt in dire need of a new console when 360 and PS3 launched, but after seeing both in action I went 360. At the time (Oct 2007) Bioshock and Dead Rising were console exclusives (I dont care much for FPS/3PS so this isnt a factor) I had heard the better Guitar Hero/Rock Band experience was on Xbox, and I was b@lls deep into music games. I also really liked the controller, the interface and the achievements.
@StonyKL Mega is another building block brand produced by Mattel. But it is pretty much compatible with Lego bricks.
In recent years enough time had passed since the original patent that other companies could now make bricks identical to the Lego system, so they no longer had to make their own proprietary versions.
I love my Series X. The value out of the backwards compatibility and more than enough next gen titles (more than I have time for) makes me very happy. A fine piece of tech and a happy addition to my Xbox family.
I dont think a comparison to SF6 is necessary; I like both fighting systems for what they are. And "what's better" is purely subjective. There are similarities but you cant make a 1:1 comparison IMHO. There is a lot to like about both games, and this has been a banner year for fans of fighting games with Tekken 8 still to come.
I love invasions mode. I will say I wasnt crazy about the Kameo system to start off but over time I have grown to enjoy it and better incorporate it into my strategies. There are things I like about MK11 better than this new game, but its gorgeous and Im getting my money's worth.
Still struggling with Lu Bu in Wo Long (one day dammit) and trying to 100% Gotham Knights ahead of !!!!!MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!! Which will then occupy the vast majority of my gaming time.
The short answer is not really; and never for something Microsoft 1st Party when exclusivity was a factor
i was so invested in my PS2 Library I didnt much care for getting an Xbox - my friends had them and every game I was interested in playing they had and we did together.
Xbox 360 I jumped over for Bioshock, Dead Rising (both exclusives at the time) and what was reported to be a better Rock Band experience.
Xbox One I got a Holiday Bundle in 2014 in anticipation of the following June's Arkham Knight
The Series X I got because of All Access. I make good use of it, but it wasnt NEEDED. it was that I could pay 40 cdn a month for it and Game Pass im already paying a little less than 1/2 per month instead of 700 cdn plus tax
Street Fighter IV - wish I knew the tag of the guy I went Sagat vs Zangief double health round 3, empty bars final hit but that was great and wether I won or lost I didnt encounter many, or at least any memorable jerks.
UFC Undisputed 1-2 - lots of great competition and making one dude in particular rage like ive rarely ever seen, simply for winning.
UFC Undisputed 3 - being the Jiu-Jitsu coach through TrueAchievements to help other players from around the world to unlock the position achievement in the Dojo
Transformers Cybertron games - I dont care much for big group multiplayer but grinding or legit this is my favorite multiplayer game ever.
Arkham Origins - this was pure grinding through TrueAchievements but man, what a great time we had over 5 weekends. Those Saturday Mornings were a lot of laughs.
Well, gonna have to have a look and see what I may need. Thanks to all the sales and robust physical editions I was able to get a ridiculous 360 content library.
@GuyinPA75 I wouldnt argue any of that; Larry still acted like a d*** when asked a perfectly reasonable question about drm - something that indeed came back to bite Xbox in the ass. The attitude was more or less "yall will deal with it" and it was piss poor.
Id remember him a lot more fondly if he didnt act like a putz during the disastrous Xbox One launch (see the interview with Angry Joe) but 20 years as the face of anything youre gonna slip and thats one hell of a run.

Re: Major Nelson Announces His Departure From Xbox After 20 Years
@GuyinPA75 ah see I never listened to it. Saw the Joe interview during the X1 launch poostorm and ive never seen one of Dr Disrespects videos.
