@RBRTMNZ Yeah it'd be nice, it's just time consuming and there's the question of separating 'moved to premium' games from games that are on Ult & Premium etc.

@Tasuki I'm not entirely sure what we'd put in a beginner's guide, to be honest. It could be something we look into, time permitting, but the game sort of spells everything out for you and is freeform in nature so it's kind of like - do whatever you want to rank the progression tracks up😅.

@awp69 I read that elsewhere too, but the UK MS Store page says a 00:00 unlock time 🤔. That's been the case with past games hence why the NZ tricks works as you said, so we're hoping this is the case (otherwise we guess it'll be 5am).

@GeminiX53 a much smaller number of readers will have access to a non Game Pass game, that's just natural. Unless it's a HUGE game, this kind of article just isn't worth doing unless it's an XGP game and has that broad reach.

I haven't played the game personally, but I watched the video and certainly thought it looked playable, at least in that quality mode.

@Coletrain To be fair, Forza Horizon has always felt like one of the smoothest 30FPS games.

I have a funny story with Gears 3. Got the chance to play it early at a local Blockbuster (those were the days), with the strict instructions to just try out Horde mode / local multiplayer.

Little did they know that me and a few crafty mates realised it was the full game that was on the demo kiosk - we backed all the way out to the menu and started playing campaign 👀

@Fiendish-Beaver I loved the Gears 4 and 5 consoles, but they came around at such awkward times! Gears 4 time I was already planning to get Project Scorpio, and Gears 5 time next-gen was upon us.

I have to admit though, I'd be so tempted by an LE Gears E-Day console. Failing that, bring on the controllers - I loved the pair that they did for Gears 4 😁

@Tasuki I agree with all the stuff outside of the core game, no doubt. Disbanding lobbies suck, sbmm sucks, the ongoing battle pass/endless amount of seasons stuff sucks.
But yeah, gameplay wise I quite like some of the slower CODs tbh. Don't get me wrong I can get onboard with a Treyarch game but they can be a bit fast paced 😅

@Tasuki opinions are opinions 😅. I like Infinity Ward CODs, even MW'22!

@fatpunkslim Yeah, that's for Push Square basically. We'll cover third party stuff like Epic, or maybe Sony stuff if it has some link to Xbox - but we don't want to push the PlayStation stuff too much if it doesn't seem relevant.

@themightyant Yeah I agree it's a wider industry problem than just live service stuff. My reaction of 'disgusting' is more just aimed at 1,000 Epic devs losing their jobs in one go...

@Fiendish-Beaver one thing that's worth noting is some of Microsoft's wording around the price increase said 'within the next 12 months' for this. It felt a bit vague but there's every chance they meant 75 games from the overhaul, which was the start of October and would squeeze in all of those late 2025 releases...

@betterthings that doesn't mean Microsoft only releases. The 75 day one games will include indies/third parties.

@xboxjapanfan well it's about to release on ps5 and switch 2, I'm sure that will help Microsoft recoup some more costs on it.

@somnambulance Agree, Blackout was better 100%.

It was like a proper BR with COD gameplay, Warzone is a glorified big team mode with its respawns, loadouts and such. And it got bloated over time, as you say.

@Enriesto I think 9 feels pretty replayable, yeah. I'm already thinking about doing another run this weekend!

The only thing I'd say is that if Requiem split Grace and Leon's sections like the RE2 remake did with Claire, it'd perhaps be even more replayable. As it is, you're going to have to play through both of the styles in each run.

@Smackosynthesis The game frequently switches between the two of them, but yeah - the first half is a lot more Grace and the second half a lot more Leon.

I didn't have a problem with that though, personally.

I'm not the most clued up on that tech tbh, I never really have issues with stick drift on my controllers.

@themightyant Yeah. I think they're factoring in early access with that price as well - I'd expect the campaign DLC to be £20 or so when it comes out.

@FrenchVaniIIuxe Concord's record player count on Steam was under 700 people. Highguard managed almost 100K on Monday.

Sure it's free, and sure that'll drop off, but to call Highguard 'DOA' is strong. Let's see how it's faring in a few months' time.

@Fiendish-Beaver Personally I couldn't give a damn about finishing the Gears 4-5 story 😅. It was fine, especially 5 which got a bit more interesting, but I never really bought into where it was going.
I think exploring e-day is much, much more exciting. And as you say, that could have come after Gears 6 but we only have so much time on this planet 😅

@TrollOfWar I left that off because it was ultimately cancelled before it came out. If anyone else wants it adding we can slot it in there for good measure 😅
