I was on Ultimate up to mid February this year then switched to essential. I don't really get the full benefits of the gamepass games. It's usually the base game you get without any dlc. I do game a lot but with life etc & other interests & commitments there's no way i could play all the games on gamepass to make it worthwhile. I buy the games i like & i have a series X & Switch 2 & the games i play are time sink games so i wasn't even touching most of the gamepass games.
It wasn't too bad, i kept ultimate going out of laziness / convenience but when the prices increased that killed it for me. It's probably worth it for people who can rush through many games especially with the great games that have come out on gamepass recently but i don't play that way.
It's a shame because recentli a lot of gamepass users have not re subscribed or have dropped tiers. Microsoft threw all their eggs in the Gamepass basket but it's looking less & less sustainable as time goes by. Lets see what microsoft do next because they must have all the data.

@Kaloudz I reckon (as I said last time) they'll tackle Judge Dredd next.

OMG I hope they do. I enjoyed the Judge Dredd movie (Not the Sly one) Great source material for epic movies and games.
Think you will enjoy Robocop, it's a blast.

Great direct. From the games shown it's gonna be another great year for XBox. Anything else is just gravy.

I'm still playing Starfield (will be for a long time) but i've also been playing Super Mario Wonder. Still got to start RE4 Separate ways yet. What a great year for games.

Starfield of course. Got the deluxe edition of the game for £74 from CD Keys as i want to own the game even though i have gamepass. I Don't mind buying Bethesda games as i get mega value out of them when you consider the time played on them. It's worked out well because i have free time to play it on early access but would be too busy on release day.
May also nip on TOTK on Switch as i feel guilty for not playing it since Starfield came out.

I'm with you on that. I was a resi 4 God back in the day but these days when i go back to replay it or the remasters i struggle with the controls for a while.
Try the demo and see what you think.

Already pre-ordered, i had to, its one of my favourite games of all time and the Demo didn't disappoint.
Luckily i had a ton of Microsoft points which have already paid for Dead Space and Hogwarts so far and £25 towards this.
2023 is already an amazing year for gaming on Switch and Xbox.

Loving the demo so far, just got chain sawed in the village. I've loved this game from Gamecube and everything else to series x. I still have the RE4 gamecube chainsaw controller.
I admit i always struggle with the controls initially when i replay the original now (except the Wii version with the motion aiming. Wish they had included that in the Switch version. ) But this remaster feels good so far. Just wish the knife didn't wear down.

Picked up Fenix Rising the Shadowmaster edition from Game today for £29.99.

I was really looking forward to this day one but the narration and chat between characters in the recent trailers has really put me off this game even though you get a bonus quest for pre ordering.
May pick it up at a later date. Hope they add a BOTW no talking unless it's absolutely necessary mode in a future update.

We probably won't see any first party XBox exclusives in the charts ever with them being day one on Gamepass. Especially top 10.

Loving my SX so far. It even eliminates the lag in menus and vendors on Fallout 76 so it's a beast.

Sorted my Series X click & collect for the 10th November with Game today and got a glimpse of my console.

Arrived at local Game at 7.30am (open at 8am) first one there, within 10 mins about 30 ppl in Que all after X's Staff dished out pre order tickets to us all for X's and she had some left over. More turned up as i left at 8.05 am.

Hope Covid doesn't mess up store collection on the 10th Nov !!
