It was a bit of a surprise to see Assassin's Creed Valhalla initially beating Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War to first place in the UK boxed charts a couple of weeks ago, but normal service has resumed over the past week, with Call of Duty taking its expected throne, and Valhalla dropping down to fourth.
Elsewhere, FIFA 21 perhaps unexpectedly jumped up to second, while Ubisoft's Watch Dogs: Legion also made a resurgence by climbing into seventh. Additionally, Fortnite re-entered the top ten for the first time in a while with a brand-new 'Last Laugh' bundle, debuting in an impressive fifth position.
Here's a look at the top ten all formats chart for the week ending November 21st:

Normal service resumed then.
Bit of a disaster for Demon Souls though.
6th last week I think, and not even in the top 10 this week.
Nice to see Switch doing well though. 4 titles in the top 10 that are exclusive.
@blinx01 yeah the switch is dominating the charts and sales at the moment and next gen show no signs of slowing it down. Demon souls sales are a bit dissapointing same goes for sackboy and no xbox titles in sight at all.
@UltimateOtaku91
Yeah. Lot's of parents will be picking up a Switch for Christmas I feel with next gen consoles out of stock.
Never expected Sackboy to do well. £60-70 for that type of game has no chance. I did expect Demon Souls to do better being the only major 'next gen only' game on PS5.
Don't think Xbox has any exclusives to get in the charts right now. Lots of stuff on Game Pass and no new releases.
The switch is a machine! Well I guess literally as well.
Demon souls sales is expected as an £70 niche title on a small install base.
@UltimateOtaku91 I didn't think there were any Xbox exclusives released recently was there? No chance of getting into top 10 without one surely?
@StonyKL
We probably won't see any first party XBox exclusives in the charts ever with them being day one on Gamepass. Especially top 10.
@blinx01 to be fair, it's hard for a next gen exclusive to be on that list at all, given how few ps5/XSX units shipped so far.
Miles likely includes the PS4 version in there.
If anything, I got to admit it's impressive the game got into the list last week.
@GiooiG especially with 70% of Series consoles sold being attached to activate GamePass accounts.
Sales charts like this are antiquated these days, for several reasons.
Digital sales don’t count. The new consoles just launched, so the user base is small, & with Game Pass (when Microsoft does start popping out their 1st party games) Xbox players will just download the game there.
It was a surprise to not see Demon’s Souls on there, though. But like I have been saying...... that was a low selling, niche game back on the PS3.
The hardcore fanbase probably lapped it up, but I still thought it would get a huge boost from it being a launch game & not much else going on for PS5 (other than Spider-Man DLC). I guess not. 🤷🏼♂️
