2024 turning into a shocker for first party releases

I've now learnt COD games, on disc, the secret is to download and install offline, from the disk, then go online and let it update things...

also took me far too long to get my COD BD Cold War next gen upgrade to work!

Infinite Warfare and MW (2019) are my favourite of the newer campaigns, and personally prefer the original MW trilogy to BO, but most of the campaigns are a good time. Apart from WAW, which unlike most people, I really dislike.

The list is difficult for me, as I only care for the campaigns, not a MP fan. So the ranking on some of these games baffles me!! Infinite Warfare is maybe the best campaign in the damn series!!!

Metro Saga Bundle for (I think) £7.49 looks to be quite a bargain, never payed any of them so that has me tempted...

I thiiiiiiink I have everything that I want, apart from a few games that are too new to be on this sale. But I'll have a look...

I'm avoiding non-bethesda mods on my main character save as I don't want to void achievements..

but for my other character, is there a resource that highlights the best mods as it's hard to navigate in the game?

but recently started hellblade 1 and loving it, so will get this eventually when on sale

I have mafia definitive edition but grabbed this for £3 (using £5 rewards points), still a bargain for 2 games!!

In fact I may reinstall FH2, have it with GWG

FH3-5 are much more polished, but I loved the mechanism in FH2 where every so many events you have to drive to the next festival location, those drives were quite chill and enjoyable, especially the coastal drives!

The trailer for FH4 made me go out and buy an Xbox One (I'd had a 360)... still may be my fave game trailer ever, as a Brit, it really did the trick!!!

I own the game and DLC digitally but redownloading as fancy a spin around the lakes again

Love the FH series, this is definitely my fave of 2-5 (never played 1)...

@KillerBoy you can still play it if you have it on disk, and can redownload if you have it digitally. delisted only means you can't buy it digitally...

so many great games coming from xbox, why no avowed or indy ads on telly???

I'm sure it'll sell when they drop the price but it's very expensive for a weekend game!

@UnusedBabyWipes never got to play FH3 DLC, loved the base game. But Hotwheels in FH5 was a blast!

great news for me. I absolutely loved starfield last year, but waiting til shattered space and a bunch of creation content is out before I dive back in.

@Lup fair enough, I take your point...

its a tricky one as some games like GTA, Witcher, where the character(s) is/are voiced, it really adds something for me, but equally I can see the appeal of creating and role playing a character. though you then lose that voice acted part to it... can't please us all I guess!

I've been gaming for 35 odd years now but fairly new to RPG's... but I've not found many games where you can truly role play your character. Loved starfield but that seemed to push you down the good path at every turn, regardless of how you created your character. conversely, Witcher 3 the character was pre-defined, but your choices really impacted the world around you...

hoping Avowed covers all bases in this regard!!

@Lup not looking to start a fight, but did you not enjoy Witcher 3 because Geralt was a pre-chosen character? I just don't get the hatred for this character??

I never played Fable 1-3.
I loved Witcher 3, despite not being able to choose my character. Same with countless other games...

I guess I can understand the anger if people expected to be able to create their characters, but this character is voiced, like Geralt, so I don't get the huge anger. I can't wait for this, it looks great to me!

Excellent. I played this game to death on release, so plan on waiting til Shattered Space is out to get back into it, hopefully by then there is also a fair amount of creation content. Very excited.
