Each his own, but Xbox already got two people here, Beaver who owns a PS5 & me who will own one, that are buying the competitions console. At this point the only thing keeping me from picking PS over Xbox is the fact that they don't allow rechargeable batteries, I refuse to have a system where I'm constantly have to be wired to the console just to play, I don't even have a long wire for that because I'm so used to wireless controllers even if I have to buy batteries for it, now thanks to rechargeables, I don't. Xbox gonna give PS all their games anyway, might as well buy the PS6 over the Xbox, but not having rechargeable batteries be a option is a big red flag for me, PS really not gonna adapt & it's 2026 is crazy. If Xbox new system can play PS5/6 games(a rumor which I don't see how that would be possible, maybe steam or some so the games would be digital I'd imagine which can be a big turn off for some but still) along with the controller difference, my family on Xbox, having to buy all my favorite games that I'll never sell is the only things keeping me from fully converting over. @FreqMode na, you must ain't seen the upcoming games list, there's so many good looking games, look up upcoming games of 2026 on YouTube. I thought 2026 was gonna be another trash year for me but na, they got plenty of games. Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, Fable, 007 First Light, Forza Horizon 6, Neo Berlin, State of Decay 3(if it ever gets a release date & actually finally releases), GTA 6(if it don't get delayed again, shouldn't as it has a date), Star Wars Zero Company, Pragmata, SPINE, Ananta(PS5), Phantom Blade 0(PS5), Blackwood(PC). These are some good games, seen others but don't remember the names, but there was several zombie games that looked good & had Blackwood type takedowns, but anyway, including RE that's 14 games so far for this year. Now I don't know if you have a PC or PS5 so that would be 11 games so far.
I myself have stopped caring bout GTA 6 once 2020 came along & I was exciting for SOD3 until middle of last year, the no show that I predicted from the gaming awards is what made me say f em, I been saying f R* for milking 5 forever, I get that Microsoft has had layoffs so it's been tougher for Undead Labs with State Of Decay but come on, it's been 6 years since the trailer, no excuses, y'all want $70 outta us, no question so it's a give & take relationship.

They can take it & shove it deep. I'm not interested in buying it at all, same company that makes you buy the game over again as you can't play with people on next Gen when your on old gen like be so for eeal. They just did that cause they money hungry like any other company but they're one of the most money hungry studios out there.

I cared more about fallout 5, all y'all needed to do was make Fallout 4 multiplayer, 76 ruined everything, y'all would need to make 3rd person actually good for combat, you can't even see where your aiming at. 76 ruined it & made me not even wanna go finish 4 so unfortunately I stopped caring about Fallout games.
Change the game how? I remember empire of sin changed the game & took away the freedom to attack who we wanted when we wanted & made the game complicated, two different games but the concept remains the same "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". @Deadsea93 This is why you have to see at least the first 5 to 15 minutes of a game to see if you like it or not because wasting $70 is ridiculous, I don't like spoiling much about a game but I'd rather watch 5 minutes of it than to be wasting $70, people work way too hard to be wasting $70 on something that they will not enjoy which they tried to sell but they can't even sell it for the price they bought it for so it's best just take the five or whatever amount of minutes you need to decide if it's worth buying or not, I did that with BG3, once I saw enough of it I knew I would love the game. Watching YouTube walkthroughs on games pretty much prevents from wasting your time as well as money.

Only ever bought few games at digitally, one being NBA 25 cause I wanted to try it & those games get old by the next year plus it was a good sell. Every other 2K I got was disc but wasn't gonna pay a lot for a game that would be obsolete in a year. Other game being BG3, I knew is life that game. While I wish it had a disc version, I like the fact that I'm able to have that game pinned & always be able to play that game regardless of what game disc is in my system but it's definitely a game I love but yea I don't really support digital games. I hate digital, unless your game really selling a lot you're pretty much hurting yourself, I mean PG3 sold a lot but I bet if it was a disc also they would have sold even more.
Never cared for it. If your into 3rd person games it pretty much ain't for you which is why I respect Fallout for pleasing both the 1st person audience & the 3rd person audience. Like it's the 2020's games are $70 & should offer more freedom to play how we want, open world & 1st & 3rd person should be a given. Finally a good AAA game coming to Gamepass in RE Requiem. Also Dragon Quest(never played) but at least it's a popular AAA game along with another Yakuza game(never played, not my thing, if I had to pick I'd take Dragon Quest over this). I'm buying Requiem anyway but of course that would be on Gamepass lol. That Romeo game looks decent if not better. I think this might be the first time that I've seen them actually put up a lineup of four games that I can say are at least four popular AAA games as far as I remember.

A game like this though would make sense to be fighting creatures & stuff. Using different type of guns, upgrading them & so on so if this doesn't have combat, It would be a big fumble on their end, I already saw plenty of comments say that the game looks boring as it looks like a run, jump & slide simulator, I'm not the only one who thinks so. Once a game just goes so silent & keep milking their current game for years after it died down, I no longer care like State of Decay 3, a game I was more excited for then GTA 6, I don't even care about Story mode like that, I'm a online guy when it comes to GTA, it was funny, but you have money & can't really do anything with other then buy clothes & weapons, you couldn't buy a personal vehicle, couldn't buy houses, it made getting money boring, then they force you to do every part of a mission like why can't I just play whoever I want so if I want to avoid say Trevor cause he's flying a helicopter & rather play Michael because hes not flying a helicopter, I should be able to, it's a open world game(just a example, I don't mind flying helicopters but there were some annoying parts in the game that thankfully you could skipp after a few tries). 2 a lot of older games I really liked, I stopped liking & caring about & GTA is one of em, some of these games don't age well vs newer games. 3 who the hell they think they are, talking about it's worth $100, I'm not buying any game for $100 even if I actually cared about it. They can take it & shove it deep. I'm not interested in buying it at all, same company that makes you buy the game over again as you can't play with people on next Gen when your on old gen like be so for eeal. They just did that cause they money hungry like any other company but they're one of the most money hungry studios out there.
If it is $100 & people buy it, they will only help ruin the game market more then will be the same clowns complaining about buying other games for that price, even if I wanted this game, I wouldn't buy it if it was that price cause it beats contributing to $100 games, if they fail, no other game would be that price but if they succeed, others will do it. Games are already $70, PS5 games are still high even years after all because "the quality & value makes this game worth the price even though it came out in 2018" lmao yea ok

I can careless about this. I cared more about fallout 5, all y'all needed to do was make Fallout 4 multiplayer, 76 ruined everything, y'all would need to make 3rd person actually good for combat, you can't even see where your aiming at. 76 ruined it & made me not even wanna go finish 4 so unfortunately I stopped caring about Fallout games.

Change the game how? I remember empire of sin changed the game & took away the freedom to attack who we wanted when we wanted & made the game complicated, two different games but the concept remains the same "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Empire of sin for ruined & became unplayable. Do we really need to change the game? They should do a poll first & ask us. Granted I don't play this game much but I'll get back to it at some point as I buy other games & get my backlog in check.

Ain't nobody surprised by this it's Sony,same clowns that has Ghost of Tsushima being sold for $50 at game stores lol, ain't no way I'm paying $50 for a used game that came out in 2018. Only way you getting it cheaper is to get it on PS4 & even then it's more then GTA V, games that are that good/popular can be 18 used, fine, but 30 or 40 on old gen? π, won't really matter to me soon, since Xbox bringing all their games to PS, I might convert over to PS full time, to think I was gonna get a PS5 & wouldn't play it more then I play my Switch, lie chart woulda been some like 80% Xbox 20% switch to 60% Xbox, 30% Switch & 10% PS5 to now thinking I'll play PS5 & Switch & eliminate Xbox all together, crazy how things change. I'll be getting a PS5 this week. As far as the PS6 or next Xbox, I don't know, Xbox been losing me so I might just go over to PS BUT if Microsoft has a platform that can play PS games, I'll go with that faster then the speed of Flash.
Xbox need to have more exclusives, they need to get more studios & compete, until they get some studios & compete with PS, they will continue to get their cheeks clapped furiously into the shadow realm. Xbox been in shambles for the last couple of years, making too many fumbles, they could put games in Gamepass but have other EXCLUSIVES that stay on Xbox but they need to get hungry studios that come out with hits.

π₯± I can careless about Halo & Gears, played Halo all up until ODST, played Gears 1&2 & finished both, never completed Halo, got bored cause it was easy. Always felt they were severely overrated. @Deadsea93 This is why you have to see at least the first 5 to 15 minutes of a game to see if you like it or not because wasting $70 is ridiculous, I don't like spoiling much about a game but I'd rather watch 5 minutes of it than to be wasting $70, people work way too hard to be wasting $70 on something that they will not enjoy which they tried to sell but they can't even sell it for the price they bought it for so it's best just take the five or whatever amount of minutes you need to decide if it's worth buying or not, I did that with BG3, once I saw enough of it I knew I would love the game. Watching YouTube walkthroughs on games pretty much prevents from wasting your time as well as money.

@KITG_Group_BrunoB Amen to that. Same reason I didn't buy Alan Wake 2 until it came out on disc. Only ever bought few games at digitally, one being NBA 25 cause I wanted to try it & those games get old by the next year plus it was a good sell. Every other 2K I got was disc but wasn't gonna pay a lot for a game that would be obsolete in a year. Other game being BG3, I knew is life that game. While I wish it had a disc version, I like the fact that I'm able to have that game pinned & always be able to play that game regardless of what game disc is in my system but it's definitely a game I love but yea I don't really support digital games. I hate digital, unless your game really selling a lot you're pretty much hurting yourself, I mean PG3 sold a lot but I bet if it was a disc also they would have sold even more.

Never cared for it. If your into 3rd person games it pretty much ain't for you which is why I respect Fallout for pleasing both the 1st person audience & the 3rd person audience. Like it's the 2020's games are $70 & should offer more freedom to play how we want, open world & 1st & 3rd person should be a given. I'm just saying, this don't look like a game I woulda been interested in either way unless the combat was like Shadow of Mordor or some or at least when like Watch Dogs Legion, simple but affective.

Finally a good AAA game coming to Gamepass in RE Requiem. Also Dragon Quest(never played) but at least it's a popular AAA game along with another Yakuza game(never played, not my thing, if I had to pick I'd take Dragon Quest over this). I'm buying Requiem anyway but of course that would be on Gamepass lol. That Romeo game looks decent if not better. I think this might be the first time that I've seen them actually put up a lineup of four games that I can say are at least four popular AAA games as far as I remember.
Gamepass shoulda got that 007 game, but ok Xbox finally y'all making moves. Y'all needa keep this up, last games they came out with that I was interested was Metaphor, Persona 3 Reload & Lamplighters League, all great games that I bought, still gotta buy Lamplighters League though, hopefully soon, should've when it was $23 but I didn't know it was only digit so I missed the sell, now just waiting for it to be on sell again.

A game like this though would make sense to be fighting creatures & stuff. Using different type of guns, upgrading them & so on so if this doesn't have combat, It would be a big fumble on their end, I already saw plenty of comments say that the game looks boring as it looks like a run, jump & slide simulator, I'm not the only one who thinks so. Most of these games sound dirt π© ποΈ. Only games I'm looking forward to is RE Requiem, 007, Tomb Raider (FINALLY another TR game, last was 2018 my favorite one out of a amazing series), Prince of Persia (FINALLY a remake & not some 2D garbage), Fable(FINALLY another Fable game, took forever for it to come out, still waiting for it to be delayed) & Mega Man Star Force collection(didn't even know this was coming out of my Cousin hadn't told me, we always been big fans of Mega Man(Wish the Battle Network collection was available on Xbox as well). Another trash year for me. 2013 remains the best year to me so far.
Pragmata looked good so I'll probably buy it which makes 6 games I'll get this year, that's not good. 8 if I still cared about GTA & State of Decay 3, GTA lost me years ago, State of Decay lost me a few months ago & the no show at the awards(which I was betting would happen) was the final straw, both of those delayed into oblivion, GTA was far longer though & yes they provided plenty of updates to the game but they were milking it so it became annoying instead of just giving us what we wanted which was GTA 6(campaign was coo but the highlight for me was online to be honest & even then I'm not that crazy about GTA 5 it's not even one of my favorite games like it use to be in 2013) if I had to choose out of the two, I'd buy SOD3(State of Decay 3) in a heartbeat before I'd buy GTA. R* be doing too much. I always liked Dynasty Warriors but only on a handheld, those same area hack & slash games get boring after a few hours.
Seems like 2027 will be a better year for games with the Witcher 4 & Osiris & some others I seen, at least for me, there will probably be 10+ games I'd buy that year. Thankfully I'll be getting a PS5 so I'll have all 3 consoles.
