Poll: As Things Stand, Will You Be Buying GTA 6 On Xbox This November?

We're still well over six months away from the release of GTA 6 in November (assuming it doesn't get delayed again, of course), but considering how busy things are about to get with Forza Horizon 6, Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, Halo: Campaign Evolved and whatever else releasing on Xbox over the coming months, we'd thought we'd use this quiet period to poll the community on whether you'll be buying the biggest game of the Series X and Series S generation!

Indeed, there's nothing that any publisher can offer up that will be able to compete with GTA 6 in terms of sales and overall attention this year, and even Xbox has hinted at a need to "space out" new releases in 2026 and ultimately avoid the November window if GTA 6 ends up releasing on time.

In terms of the game itself, we already know that GTA 6 will be exclusive to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5 at launch, marking one of the rare occasions where a major AAA release isn't launching on PC at the same time as console. We've mentioned before how console sales are likely to grow around the release of GTA 6, so it'll be interesting to see whether Microsoft is more aggressive at trying to ship the Series X and S this holiday.

We're not anticipating any major differences between the Xbox Series X and PS5 versions of GTA 6 on day one, but there's speculation that the PS5 Pro version might run at a higher frame rate, while the Xbox Series S version will obviously be the weakest of the bunch. We're not expecting 60FPS performance on any console though — 30FPS across Series S and Series X (with improved visuals on the latter) seems the most likely scenario.
