Probably the game I'm looking forward to most this year. Bet it runs like arse on PC though.

Series went downhill at five. Three and four are two of my favourite ever open world FPS's. Six is slightly better than five but still lacks the charm, style and fun of the third and fourth for me.

This is so sad. I literally started Alan Wake 2 today and was only thinking what a comfort it was to hear his voice again after all these years. Very poignant his death has been announced on the same day.

We don't enjoy or embrace generations anymore. All we ever do is look forward to the next piece of hardware then complain about it when it gets here. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Been playing Far Cry 3 recently and can't believe how much the series has deteriorated. 6 is poorer in every single possible way. Even the cartoony graphics look inferior to what is an eleven year old game.

I had a similar issue with Football Manager 2024. It refused to auto save and I had to delete my save everytime then save manually. Fortunately nothing corrupted and the manual save always worked. Still concerning though. Long and short of it, definitely an issue with Microsoft cloud saves somewhere along the line.

@ZuneTattooGuy No, not what I meant. 2025 is fine, if that's when it's ready. Just saying I can't get excited about watching a trailer for a game that's probably two years away. Loads of stuff to focus on before I'll be anywhere near interested in that.

For me dual boot would be a cop out and against the whole ethos of the deck. It's a Linux machine, and with that you take all the idiosyncrasies of Linux. I'd be surprised if Valve sold out like that. If you want Windows, use something else.

Played Motorsport for twenty minutes and uninstalled. Still playing Horizon 5 and enjoying it after two years...

@armondo36 It's popularity as a full priced title is dwindling at a rate of knots on a yearly basis - is what I'm saying. Most people are either holding onto last years, or the year's before, knowing there'll only be incremental changes. Best case, they are waiting until the latest version is available for peanuts.

Not sure why they bother with the NBA license anymore - 2K. Every year the game seems to be available to play earlier for free weekends and discounted or put on sale sooner. Can't be anywhere near as successful as it used to be.

Bought this in the PS store sale last month for twenty quid and thought it was a good deal. Becoming too much of a risky proposition actually buying games if you have gamepass now...

Just a disgrace really, been looking forward to this since quarter 2 2021, when it was originally promised. Bet your bottom dollar if this was a chargeable upgrade, it would of been here by now. Talk about a fall from grace CD Projekt Red...

The Dualsense motion controls are where GT7 brings it into the next gen, so fluid and responsive. Unlike any experience I've had aside from a racing wheel.

Seems a bit of a coincidence Assassins Creed Valhalla is free for the weekend, the same weekend, as the new Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla drops... Clever marketing.

It's a great concept, when it works correctly. It is buggy as hell though and not just when you need to sign in for online stuff. Psychonauts 2 in particular, locked up on me a few times and I had to reset the box completely. If that's gonna continue to be an issue, moving forward on modern games, it won't be worth the hassle.

It's running a lot smoother and feels like it should have originally. Only gripe I have is that there are still some glaringly obvious bugs that have yet to be ironed out. I failed one of the early gigs and restarted from checkpoint, the character I needed to interact with then completely disappeared, leaving me unable to complete it. Even going back to a much earlier save fails to resolve the issue. So frustrating because I'm really enjoying it now.

Pretty happy with Madden for free, not the sort of game I would ever pay for, but one I'm happy to have a mess around with for free. Perfect gamepass material in other words!

He's a phony. Plain and simple. Saw his type a thousand times before. All sunshine and sandwiches on the public front, but I have no doubt, to his immediate co workers, he is a difficult, obstinate man who is probably impossible to please.

Man, some serious moaners on here. It's hardly a busted game. Barely had any issues and one of the most fun games I've played in a while. Wouldn't do it the disservice of comparing it to a Ubisoft open worlder either, it's better than that. Looks beautiful too.

Spencer really reminds me of the CEO at my current place of employment. Pretends to be a nice guy but really he's just a greedy, money grabbing schmuck.

Graphics look very cartoony on Series X, yes it's a
smooth experience for the most part, but doesn't look anywhere near next gen.
