That reminds me to redeem the Paramount+ trial code. TBH I don't like Paramount+ much. Their post 2015 Star Trek shows are all over the place. It made me nostalgic for ST Enterprise, a middling and flawed Star Trek if we are generous.

FH5 delivers new content weekly. I'm on my 26th month of playing and still loving it. The weekly playlist and updates differentiate it from Need for Speed.

Just give it time. Sifu, Stray, Ghoswire Tokyo, and Deathloop came over when contractual obligations were met.

The question is what kind of contractual obligations keep the FFVII Remake from being ported.

To those complaining about spongy enemies on Arise, couldn't you turn down the difficulty? Spongy enemies and grind concern me, and with Gamepass, a time commitment is not something I seek

The PS Plus Premium has nothing to offer aside from a very select retro (PS 1,2)games. Those PS1,2 games could have been bought for next to nothing in 2010 and not need to rely on subs

PS Plus Extra = Gamepass Ultimate
PS Plus = GP core
PS Plus Premium = bullcrap

My household likes Ubisoft games. It's more cost effective to buy them on sale considering the game lengths. Fenyx Rising is considered one of the shorter Ubi games. Some household members took months to finish the campaign.

Wtih subs, there's a natural limit. The people who want Netflix would have bought a sub now or in the past.

It's not about helmet or no helmet. What I want is a tv show that demands undivided attention. Seasons 1 of "West World" and "True Detective" comes to mind. Even 95% of "Hunter X Hunter" fits the category. I know it's highly unrealistic.

FFVII Remake would be great for those that don't own a PS5 or gaming PC. The trip back to Midgar is the highlight of the game for somebody like me who played the original. It was great to roam around Shinra hq, the slums, and nicer parts of the city. Even on the PS4 Pro, the graphics look very good for the most part.

I love the combat system in AC Odyssey. Fast paced and rewards aggressive tactics at 60fps versus Origins. If you loved Gladiator, Cleopatra, Alexander, and other sword/sandal movies, Odyssey and Origins to some extent will be for you.

Best to look at new stuff as warriors creed game than assassin games. Also best to disregard the ancient humanoids and present timeline. I'll play AC Valhalla as a Viking simulator soon enough.

@jedinite Is the series x version glitchy on the story or online mode? A household member played it, and I was impressed at the 60fps performance and quick loading.

Is this actually leaving? The "leaving soon" portion of the console is not reporting it. A household member also didn't see the pop up message of a leaving soon warning when he opened the game.

Hasn't games leaving soon have a pop up window feature now informing us of departure date and additional discount?

A lot of complaints about the perks. The free trials of Disney+, Paramount, and Crunchyroll were nice.

The 60fps upgrade is still on Gamepass for now. It's amazing how a simple 60fps can make the gameplay more fun and smooth. It's close to 100 gigs

Seriously, the game has been a hit with household the last time. They liked it more than the sniper elite zombie game.

It was a good program while it lasted. The last few months I earned at least 20,000 points monthly. This December, I doubt I'll earn more than 13k.

How much did you guys earn when the program was good? MS Rewards has given me 2 years worth of Gamepass ultimate.

My main issue with the Halo show is that it's dull and poorly paced. My mind kept bothering me that it's going nowhere and just wasting my time.

The only reason I'll watch the second season is to use as background noise when cooking/mealprep/washing dishes if the service is on free trial/$1. With the subwoofer off. Don't want to cut my fingers when the subwoofer hammers on.

WWZ returning will make household members happy. I like the multiplayer (on easy) was very lively during its last 2 weeks on Xbox. Surprised that some kids were even using their headphones even if I would bet one of them would be under 10 years old.

PureXbox is sure fast in reporting the games leaving soon. Even MS has improved a bit. I remember when there would be a 1 or 2 day delay when it's a weekend or holiday

I hope that dev team have better pacing on their next game. The second Plague Tale is filled with padding and bloat. The first left you wanting more when it ended.

The performance on the PS4 Pro was terrible as well. Long loading time, constant disconnects, and lost progression when joining others' sessions. My main issue was the progression wall it threw at the player. Too many checklist like missions just to progress the plot. I stopped at that point, but would have continued if I didn't have a backlog or game sub.

If you have gamepass, try it. If not, just don't pay over $5. The flying mechanic is really excellent. The open world is quite vast and interesting.

Should I get AC Valhalla at $15 or wait for more discount on the complete editions? I enjoyed and finished Origins and Odyssey. The dlcs on both are mixed at best. In hindsight, only the Origin Pharaoh dlc was worth paying for.

Slower travel could be it for sure. I like the mechanic of no fast travel when carrying a ship part and the the additional enemies during that time.

I'm thankful that Gungrave Gore had a stay at Gamepass. It was mindless fun that's reminiscent of PS2/Xbox games. Not perfect in any sense.

Is it just me or Ghost Song's map is bigger than the average Metroidvania?

Honestly, it's unnecessary. Sites like this one reports the leaving soon within hours of its announcement. MS could do better by announcing the titles strictly on the 1st or 15th. There have been times when it is delayed by a day or two depending on weekends or official holidays.

@themightyant I'm glad you managed to beat the final boss. The difficulty spike was something else. It spoiled what was a very pleasant tomb level. I wanted to learn the final move from the martial arts master. I talked to all NPCs for the chance that the merchant will have what he needed. The prerequisite side mission must have been accomplished before the ingredient asked for could be given.

@themightyant Good luck with Tianding. The last boss is so difficult even at lower difficulties. I might have made a mistake of not doing the quest of the very surly martial arts master outside of the Temple.

I'm surprised to come across the negative perception of the Expanse. That show filled a void that Star Trek used to inhabit. Star Trek Enterprise and the Expanse were far from perfect, but scifi space shows are such a niche thing. It's not like you can easily find a replacement.

Call me crazy but I have a Gamepass sub just to try the likes of Yomi, Turnip and Tianding. It's perfect for trying out new non AAA games. 20 years ago, you'd pay $5 for a 4 day rental on each. Will try all of them on my test/dummy profile because I'm trying to improve my completion %

The team that managed Fall Guys made some weird decisions. They vaulted maps/levels and expected players to keep playing the smaller rotation of levels/maps for a too long of a season.

60fps is what I like about this gen of consoles. Previous gens had very few games that performed at 60fps. I hope that it becomes the norm and expectation of the average consumer. The cost of a gaming pc that can run the newest and upcoming games at 60fps 1080p is more expensive than the XSX or PS5.

The extra (minimum) 30 fps and 500 gigs of internal space is worth the $200 price difference. My Series X and a household member's PS5 have delayed my plans to build a gaming pc that would easily exceed the price of both consoles combined.

Edit: I couldn't justify the bargain price of $500 for the AMD 6800XT when I get my gaming fix with Gamepass and the PS5 that is consoleshared with me.

PS Plus Extra and Premium only had 14.1 million subs as reported by Sony on March 2023. I expected Sony to have a bigger sub count due to their consoles outnumbering the Xbox.

The "just for you" deals disappeared on my console. A few days ago, a Diablo package was offered when I quickly glanced at the section. It has not returned ;(

It's a bit overwhelming to find out a bunch of games are leaving in 15 days. After playing Tinykin and watching a household member "play" Immortality, I'm not in a mood to start new games. Would rather drive around in Mexico or the UK.

Maybe Sony doesn't have issues because they have expertise in manufacturing AVRs and stereo systems that in practice will be paired with non Sony components 99% of the time.

Some people might be using older AVRs that are not 4k or HDCP compatible. Ever since the pandemic, 4k/atmos AVRs have risen dramatically in prices. Not to mention that some AVR manufacturers had issues with 4k video passthrough.

I miss the days when common bluray/4k players used to have 2 HDMIout. That way, audio equipment don't have to be replaced when new video/audio formats come out.

I'm glad it's back because time constraints prevented me from playing it before it left. It will be my smaller game to play after Planet of Lana.

I have to buy Valhalla for the household. I'm hoping that the complete package will be around $20 to $30 soon. Origins and Odyssey are fun, but the Viking era is not for me ATM. It's a bit of a step down compared to ancient Egypt and Greece. It took me 6 months to finish Odyssey.

I'm glad that Limbo is back. I didn't have the time to play when it left the last time.

Dreamscaper's music and art style are lovely, but it's too difficult for me. A household member couldn't get pass the 4th floor/level.

Is Siberian Mayhem running stable at 60fps on the Series X? SS4 was a fun and breezy game I finished in 14 days before it left Gamepass.

Remember the PS4 Pro or the Xbox 1 X? Very few games ran at 60fps. Can we trust devs, publishers, and platform owners to have the newest games at 60fps for the newest games on upgraded consoles? For now, XSX is giving me that 60fps on games that I would otherwise have spend $$ on a capable video card ($600 at sales price).

I put a ticket with Ubisoft and it asked for my code. You might get in trouble with code in dispute/contention.

I signed up for the open beta and Ubsisoft sent me a PS5 code instead which I can't use for the meantime. I can only access the Xbox Series X ATM. Unfortunate since I've been playing tons of FH 4 and 5. I really want to see how Ubisoft's open world racer compares to Forza Horizon.
