I suck at puzzles. Maquette is confusing me. Estimates for the game have it clocking at 3 hours. I passed that and am not even halfway to finishing the game.

DA Veilguard looks like it costs north of $100 million from the production values alone. It's too bad that dialogue from scenes and some scene tone are suspect. Those should have been reworked to better fit a sword and magic setting.

Those game specific quests he described is giving me shivers. Almost never did them, but I still do MS Rewards.

I like the old quests versus the new changes. As an Xbox player, earning achievements is the easiest part of the MS Rewards program. There's so many Gamepass games to try and not enough time to finish them all.

Dead Island 2 is rather addictive gameplay wise. I can't believe it took me less than two weeks to finish the singleplayer part.

I can't believe that it's been almost one year since Maneater has returned. I'll take a crack at it on Xbox despite claiming a free Epic copy

Could have done more, but it's a marathon not a sprint with Gamepass expiration on Sept 2027. Have been maintaining a 600 plus day of achievement streak on another achievement oriented site.

14450 gamescore. 765 hours. 15 min daily for either Vampire Survivors or MS Solitaire. Sometimes, I forget one of those is running in the background.

Try Amnesia the Bunker before it leaves. It's rather short and has accessibility options for those not used to survival horror.

Wow, some of you are buying Prince of Persia for under $15 That's a good price. It's not that price for me on Xbox. I'd rather buy it there instead of PSN cause the Xbox is connected to the tv used for gaming 90% of the time in the household.

Are you sure about the Walking Dead console version? It looks like only the PC version is leaving.

That is still smaller than Forza Horizon 5 and Jedi Survivor. Those two games are approaching 150 GB individually.

Search for "Xbox Deals and Discussion cheapssgamer". The poster Bloomy has a a good record of listing the potential departures from sales data scrapped from the Xbox/MS store.

It saved my household money when somebody got a few months early to start both Atomic Hearts and LAD Ishin this year alone. I started Somerville last September or October because of Bloomy's listing.

If the SSD speed and convenience appeals to you, that's the way to go. TBH SSD vs old school HD is almost apples and oranges in terms of price/capacity to performance. Even on PSN, a discounted and generic 1TB SSD internal addition can't be compared to old school external HD that people should have lying around if they've been playing for years.

This is the time to have an external drive. No unnecessary deletion and redownloading. Around the pandemic, a 5TB external drive can be bought for $80 during major sales.

Ishin is rather lengthy if one takes on the side quests. Thank goodness I stumbled upon on a user who estimates the leaving portion of Gamespass through some sales data on the Xbox/MS store. It gives people on the household more time to finish games.

I hope the new additions in two weeks will be better for ultimate tier subscribers.

Something is off PoP Lost Crown IMO. It's like the problematic PoP movie 14 years ago starring an American and pasty white British woman. Something's off with the lead characters.

I'm glad I was able able to order the XSX direct from MS on December 2021. My household barely touches the PS5, and I see tons of finished (campaign) Gamepass titles on people's gamertag.

The bacwards compatibility and FPS boost are great. The Division looks great at 60FPS

I hope you can find other fun games on Xbox that will not leave you disappointed in buying a Series X. Buying one just for Starfield puts a lot of additional pressure for the game to live up to expectations.

I go by the old school of asking if there are 5 to 10 games I would pay with cash right now before buying a console/pc. Yet I still can't pull the trigger on a $700 graphics card that I estimate as "acceptable" and would outlive the PS6/Xbox Next. ;(

Why did you keep playing for hundreds of hours if you find it disappointing? Why also buy the expansion if the base game was not to your liking.

I don't get the idea of disappointed/hate watching/playing. It leaves the viewer/player drained or filled with negativity. Time is also a commodity more important than already sunk cost.

It pains me to write that most of the new Star Trek is not for me anymore. I paid for a monthly sub and was thankful to find out that almost all of the post 2005 shows are not for me. It's disappointing to walk away from something you're a fan of, but hate/disappointed watching (or playing) leads to a dark path.

The first Katamari was fun and have a distinct charm to it.

That Final Fantasy VII Remake exclusivity deal must be ironclad. Didn't SquareEnix say that FF VII remakes didn't meet their expected revenues?

Could it be that people would like to play as native male samurai in a game set in East Asia?

That's too silly. I always have a nagging feeling that any martial arts film set in East Asia would be so much better with a male MC not from that region. Then that MC truly shows the natives how martial arts is done the proper way.

Let's give credit to Ubisoft for boosting the FPS on older titles on consoles. Other companies don't even bother with the paid FPS/resolution option. Ubsifoft is still a very flawed company and that's being diplomatic.

Even Payday 3's LFG on the Xbox console seems a bit underpopulated considering that it's leaving in a few days.

Backwards compatibility and FPS boost were major advantages the SeriesX had over PS5. I wonder if it will be back when next Xbox console releases.

With how some devs/publishers can't even deliver a stable 60fps, it's better to wait.

It's also disappointing that Xbox stopped the fps boost program years ago. That differentiated them from Sony which sometimes charged a reasonable $10 upgrade on some titles.

Thanks for the impression. I would love to buy another Star Wars game at a deep discount later on. I just don't like full on stealth games.

The instant fail and few checkpoints on those parts are warning signs. One YT reviewer said that its 70% stealth on main missions.

One minor thing is that the creators of the Division could easily make a character creation. How amusing it would to play as a Gungan outlaw.

The Borderlands Legendary Collection at $10 is a new low price and good deal to people who haven't played it.

Gigabash looks fun. It could fill the kaiju sized hole left by a Gundam game that left Gamepass a few months ago.

Only one complaint about the twins or the vending machine! The former was only onscreen for three scenes according to a household member that played The latter got me to drop the knife while on meal prep and pay attention when he ran across the chatty box.

Waiting for deep sale or used physical. Preferably $20. If it's like a PS3 era Uncharted game with nicer visuals in a SW world, I'm satisfied

One aspect that you have to consider the update and support both FH 4 and 5 received for years. Different racing modes, stories, and weekly playlists were added for every week for a couple of years. Compare that with NFS Heat which barely received an update or never had a dedicated mp lobby for players who want to race against other people.

IDK why there's a negative buzz around the Ubi Star Wars game. The fans of the franchise would love to have a half decent game again. The recent Star Wars tv/film output have been aggressively mediocre at best the last few years. A decent Star Wars game is not hard to reach even if it will fall short of the the last two Jedi Survivor games.

I'll buy it when it crosses the $20 line or the gold edition is around $30.I have an axe to grind with Ubi, but the negativity surrounding Outlaws is something I fail to understand.

As an owner of SeriesX since 2022, I don't trust the Gamepass rumors. Coming from PSN where the French leaker is so accurate, I have learned to tune out Gamepass rumors.

I like how personal and heartfelt Venba is. I was expecting a simple cooking game.

It's more usage/playing instead of finishing as the metric I use to decide whether to keep the sub. The Apple TV+ is getting heavy use because it's the only paid video streaming we have for now. Otherwise, they'd have to watch ads with their video streaming When people ignored the PS Plus Extra games, we had to switch to only Gamepass

The younger relatives and kids enjoy their Spider Man games and that ridiculously hard PSN souls like exclusive. I saved money when buying through Ebay. That reminds me, I have to buy the latest Astro bot and Ratchet/Clank this Black Friday. The latter is holding its price too damn well even used.

It's only a good deal if you like the games on the catalogue. For my household, Gamepass is worth the money because people are actually finishing games even departing ones. I had to stop the PS Plus sub when I noticed that people are not playing the "free" games or downloading stuff.

US account here. My only "just for you" the past few weeks have been EA sports titles and Ubisoft AC games. The latter I already bought through an older "just for you" offer which was pretty good.

Forza Horizon 4 eliminator mode. Don't want to play that game mode with non casuals when the game leaves Gamepass and is delisted.

That's unfortunate that you got hit with the 15min timer. Hopefully you can get out of the sentence. I read some people have been able to earn points normally after months of the timer sentence.

I wonder if MS randomly picks users for the timer thing or the user has to hit certain metrics for their account to be flagged. I wouldn't be too surprised if my account is flagged due to fast searches combined with the natural mobile misspellings.

It still extends my Gamepass sub monthly. Plus it bought my household a gold version of a 2 game Resident Evil pack with us only spending less than $5 to cover tax this year. I just never do that mobile game, but still gain a minimum of 13000 points monthly

For some bizarre reason, I'm enjoying earning an achievement daily and the reward points that come with it. On track to earn 12 to 15 thousand gamescore through 2024. If I'm ever hit with a 15 min timer, I'll stop MS Rewards.

It's rather curious that the 90 day Apple TV+ trial is now gone from other platforms. 90 day used to be the norm, and now it's only available on Xbox.

I love that the online component is very active right now. Was able to get a bunch of online related achievements. It will sadly be much harder to play those game modes when the game is delisted in a few months.
