@Coletrain They say that but in practice it looks a lot lower and if you watched either the Xbox tester or digital foundry videos they say finding a definite resolution is basically impossible due to so many filters and upscalers being at work!
Maybe it's my eyes but the resolution looks sub 1080p to me 90% of the time I don't know how 60fps will look anything but horrible they must of bumped up the rendering output resolution simply putting a game at a higher resolution is pointless if the rendering isn't bumped up!

I'm literally not going to find out the the resolution of the 60fps mode till I play or I see the digital foundry or Xbox tester video!!
The game rendering output resolution of the game on Xbox series x is 1080p at the absolute best moments in the game and dips wildly below that during gameplay on 30fps mode so that must of been bumped up for 60fps considering it would look very washed out imagine wise otherwise it would of had to be mentioned!!

Definitely the most enjoyable game to play of the year for me!!
Endless mode sounds fun any new achievements for the new mode??

@General-Foley You should buddy hopefully you like the 3rd game but it's so different to mafia 1&2 and has saints row type takeover missions but they are repetitive and really dull and not fun like saints rows ones!

@GuyinPA75 Leave the series s alone dude it runs perfectly fine on the series s and like I've told you many times the series s has outsold the series x choice is an ok thing if you own a series x you aren't effected by it!
Id love you to actually play on one to see it's not that big a difference in reality

@Kaloudz Yeah it's true buddy the whole year has flown really in fairness my kids will be back on school in just over two weeks it feels like they are only started them!!
It will be Halloween before you know it and after that Christmas mania starts😱

Looking forward to jumping onto the beta when it becomes open to everyone seems to run great on both systems

@MALEBRIGNON Not putting aliens in the game is just crazy to me having at least 1 other alien race would make the game definitely more interesting!
I really wanted to like the game but it's ball breakingly boring and dull!
We could of had a new elder scrolls or fallout if they didn't waste time on this I'm sure some of the people making the game knew it was bland!

My god this week has gone fast!

Of course they did otherwise it wouldn't be on Xbox as Sony own the IP hopefully we will see a couple more playstation games before the end of the year drop on Xbox!!

@RadioHedgeFund The mass effect trilogy was that for me it was a bit more structured for sure but apart from the last 10 minutes of the trilogy it was epic and amazing!!

Hopefully eventually they can turn it around!

The modern problem when we where kids we had all the time in the world and a few games and as adults we have limited time for gaming and basically limitless games!!
But growing up without social media and smart phones trumps all of that 10 times over in fairness!!

I loved expedition 33 amazing game the parrying and dodge system I thought was great for the gameplay!
You had to stay switched on during fights because of it otherwise winning would be impossible!
Cant wait to see what comes next for the franchise!

I have the 1tb series x with the 512gb external storage but I always have about 300 GB or there abouts free I don't like to many games installed at once even if I have the room for them it's too overwhelming for me for some reason 🤔
I think I've 15 to 20 games at most installed at any one time!

@BacklogBrad Hopefully your right andit stays a uk only thing I think it should be the parents choice I'd say most parents of kids too young legally to play the game would have an idea what GTA is about nowadays

Sure I played the online for about a month when it launched on the 360 version and was a billionaire from the car selling glitch and haven't touched it since except to load up the profile on the later games for the achievements

I hope this doesn't end up being a pain in the a** not that I play GTA online or much online multiplayer games at all but I'm 39 I don't want to have to prove to a bloody game I am that age and the kids will have a way to beat this before it comes out!!
It's a bit stupid to be honest it's really up to the parents if they want there kids to be exposed to GTA online and Tbh most of the community of gta online is underage!

Yeah my Xbox downloaded the full version yesterday for me it was there when I switched my Xbox on such a thoughtful machine 👍😁

@Deformedpye Yes the resolution problem is definitely more noticeable on series s but the series x version is doesn't have a great output resolution either only 1080p at best it's ok on series x for the most part but there are noticeable dips in quality at 30fps so I can't see how 60fps will look anything but awful unless they boosted the resolution!
I own both series s/x consoles aswell

I'm not buying it right now day one because I'm clearing off some of the backlog first and I still have RoboCop unfinished business I bought recently on that backlog so it makes no sense to buy right now till I get a couple off it!!
But I'll have it bought before Christmas for sure ✌️

@TrollOfWar Exactly hopefully we are right I mean I'm not expert but the game has recently been remastered for ps5 so it wouldn't be to hard to port to series x there would just have to be another version for the series s probably sitting between the remaster and original in quality!
Obviously I hope it does happen but I don't see why they shouldn't little risk big rewards if it works out and people underestimate how much these companies want to make money!!

@Feffster Hopefully they update the resolution for hellblade or that fresh look will be blurry as hell!
I'm very interested to see how the 60fps update will look I only played the game recently the resolution is all over the place on 30fps definitely dynamic with a ton of upscaling and filters on series x

@Millionski I think most old first party games that don't sell on the Sony store anymore will be ported so it could be those games you mentioned aswell I mean they are not making much selling them on playstation where they are old news why not port them to Xbox where they are new and will sell well??

I'm not trying to prove a theory that doesn't exist on that one at all!
But in general it could easily happen a game like this coming to Xbox from sony it's definitely not as impossible as you seem to be sure of it being!
And I'm well aware of the meaning of the phrase clutching at straws I'm not a child buddy✌️
All this noise about Sony bringing games to Xbox isn't white noise or for just a couple live service games in my opinion if I'm wrong I'm wrong but to straight up deny it and make comments like Xbox gamers are in denial over it when you have no inside knowledge at all yourself doesn't really stand up at all!!
Sony and Microsoft do know whats happening nobody here does when it comes down to it 🤔

Rather then just dismissing anything but live service games which they don't really have that many and the fact they are hiring an executive or whatever to handle porting games over the clutching of Straws could end up being your stance possibly over all this??
Nobody but the guys at Sony and Microsoft really know I mean why bother porting any games at all to Xbox if that's the case??
Days gone wasn't a massive huge hit for them why is it so far fetched to think it could eventually come to Xbox!

Disney owns so much now god knows what it could be maybe milk more out of the marvel franchises or star wars!
Personally I'd like a first person pirates of the Caribbean game with no sailing just a strong linear story swords and gunplay!!

Or possibly a new star wars battlefront game considering the rise in popularity of battlefront 2 lately!!

From what I've seen it looks a decent game but if it is to release on Xbox I don't think it's going to set the world on fire like other games Sony ip's definitely would!!
But if it was to come to Xbox I'd probably pick it up!!

It's been a long time since I've enjoyed some battlefield multiplayer madness I'll be all over this beta by god!!

I still have to play my friendly neighbourhood as I'm clearing the backlog so I can't talk on that but I voted for RoboCop it's an amazing game I own it ages now so good and I'm playing through RoboCop unfinished business and it's very good aswell and a visual step up on the original!!
It needs an update though frame rate stutters are frequent unfortunately 😭 otherwise I'd of completed it already!!
I also prefer thps1&2 over 3&4 🤷
