These 9 Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (August 5-14)

As one of the biggest AC fans, I have to say... Nothing for me here. Mirage was so damn boring.

I might give assassin's creed mirage a go if it's like the 360 creed games I can't deal with the bloat of the newer titles

For some reason was not expecting much and got a few interesting games … Rain World and Aliens

The only game that I am interested in from that list that I have not already played is Assassin's Creed Mirage although I already own it. I just need to find the time to play it...

Nice, I’ll definitely play Mirage and also take a fresh look at Hellblade 2 at 60fps.

9 titles, but only 5 if you’re an “ultimate” subscriber, which many of us are 🙄

Smart of them to add Alien back to the list on the heels of Alien Earth. That will not doubt pick up some players. That said, Alien Isolation would have been a better shout.

@Ricky-Spanish Mirage is low-tier IMO. I love the IP but even I struggled with Mirage. It's slow, dull, and some of it doesn't make sense unless you play Valhalla. Valhalla is on GP and that is one of the best in the series (reboot series).

@Kaloudz I'll probably pass on it so if that's the case the backlog will thank me!

@Feffster Hopefully they update the resolution for hellblade or that fresh look will be blurry as hell!
I'm very interested to see how the 60fps update will look I only played the game recently the resolution is all over the place on 30fps definitely dynamic with a ton of upscaling and filters on series x

@Ricky-Spanish It really is a wasted effort on Ubi's part. Nothing about it is redeemable. I played it, I finished it, and that was more than enough as a long-term fan of the IP. The setting, the cast, the story, it's all just low standard.

If you can overlook the bloat, and play just the story, Valhalla all the way. Old England as a map works amazing and the story is just brilliantly done. If you liked Vikings, or Last Kingdom, Valhalla is as good as it gets.

I was hoping for a Moonlighter 2 shadow drop (we are near the end of the Summer 2025 release window) but alas.......

Meanwhile on PlayStation, New World: Aeternum, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, planet zoo, destiny 2 legacy collection, cyberpunk etc.

I think im done with gamepass, it’s like they have pressed repeat and offer the same games over and over.

@Ricky-Spanish That was a Series S issue. X was fine. I know this as I have an S and a mate has an X.

@Deformedpye Yes the resolution problem is definitely more noticeable on series s but the series x version is doesn't have a great output resolution either only 1080p at best it's ok on series x for the most part but there are noticeable dips in quality at 30fps so I can't see how 60fps will look anything but awful unless they boosted the resolution!
I own both series s/x consoles aswell

Loved the Mirage vibe and appreciated the lack of bloat. Also loved Valhalla but it’s just so damn big. Want to continue both of them at some time.

I've been wanting to check out rain world for awhile but heard it was pretty brutal. Glad I'll get a chance to try it out
