My best wishes to everyone impacted by this. This is horrible news all around, though I’m most devastated by Tango. Hi-Fi Rush was one of my absolute favorite games to come out in the last decade. It reminded me so much of the 360 era. It was a high quality, entertaining, funny game with excellent gameplay and it didn’t overstay its welcome, unlike most games that have come out recently.

I’ve gotten burnt out after 40 hours of Mini-Games the Game, I mean, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, so I’m stepping back for now and jumped into Stellar Blade. I’m loving it so far.

Considering I’ve only ever saved one intentionally, I don’t particularly care. In fact, can Nintendo do the same, I probably have a couple hundred captures just from my kids hitting the button.

It’s the only game needed

I’m still working through Rebirth and am obsessed with Unicorn Overlord on Switch right now. Also a bit of Helldivers 2 to get my friend off my back who keeps harassing me to play with him because I’ve been too into Rebirth.

Good! Don’t ruin a good thing, Ori 2’s ending was perfect.

It’s a fun game, solid 7 for me, but a little longer than it needs to be. I can’t attest to how it runs on Game Pass but it works pretty good on Steam Deck.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, I’m about fifteen hours in and loving every second of it.

I get nowhere near as much as I used to each month. I’m not going to complain because it’s still free money though, I just accept it for what it is and use it as money off of games now.

I’m not that interested in DD2 just because the first one never clicked with me, but I’d buy it at full price if it had.

Lost Odyssey plays phenomenally on backwards comparability

Looks good from a graphics standpoint, but I won’t get hyped for it until I see gameplay.

I downloaded SpongeBob for my son. He asked me if I’d try it, I responded with, “The next hundred hours of my gaming life will be consumed by Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, so sorry, but not a chance.” That’s a longwinded way of saying I’m playing Rebirth.

They aren’t all my personal picks but I don’t see any that I believe truly don’t deserve to be on that list, from the ones I played. Personally I’d have Alan Wake 2, Hi-Fi Rush, Halo Infinite, and Hogwarts Legacy up there with BG3, Elden Ring, and P5. I enjoyed Hades but personally think it’s overrated and Diablo 5 is fun but I wouldn’t put it that high personally, but I can understand both making the cut.

I had a blast playing this with my son on vacation last summer. I’ll have to pick it up for the two of us to play through again.

I honestly think this game is underrated. It’s a fun FPS, it doesn’t exactly do anything new, and the story is just ok, but the gameplay is really fun. I’d put it as a solid 7, maybe even an 8. Is it the best game? No, but it’s a good time killer.

Helldivers 2 with a possible side of restarting Death Stranding 2 on Steam Deck

@Dusk_Actual it’s amazing how overrun their servers are. I get that this game took off far more than they expected but you’d think they’d have upgraded the servers right away after it did.

50% bonus on XP and Requisites certainly isn’t helping either. But with all of that said, once you get in it’s a blast. It only took me a couple of minutes getting on tonight at least.

I’m doing my part to spread democracy! The only good bug is a dead bug … oh wait that’s a different IP.

@Dusk_Actual my buddy and I had the same issue, it took a good half an hour to get in. My friend said if you have a friend already on it usually lets you in if they invite you.

This game was an absolute masterpiece

I’ll definitely grab this, but it doesn’t ease the wounds knowing we’ll never get Titanfall 3.

Give me both X-Men Legends games, Advent Rising, Killswitch, abd Black, please.

I’d rather it say “Lord of Ring Gollum” like their AI written apology letter did.

I couldn’t care less about this game. I was not a fan of Black Flag, they took the part I cared least about that game and built a full game around it. Hard pass.

I’m at the very end of Sea of Stars so that has all of my attention this weekend.

As a ‘90’s kid, I’m absurdly excited for this.

@TakeItEasy sorry to hear that! That would absolutely be enough for me to convert back to physical media. I got mad enough when I hit a game breaking bug right before the Joker fight in Arkham Asylum and I had 100% Riddler trophies but my save deleted. I still haven’t played it again, I can only imagine how you felt losing all of your digital library.

@TakeItEasy sadly, I don’t disagree with you. I’ve been impacted by layoffs before and it’s just the awful side of business, but I get it.
I don’t blame you, while it doesn’t personally impact me, because I’ve mostly made the switch to digital, I can’t blame anyone that is still collecting physical media and the fears about where this is headed. Unfortunately, MS has been heading in this direction for quite a while now. The only reason I made the switch to digital is just for the convenience of not having to find space for all of my games, I probably have a few hundred physical games still, and I’ve more than double it on digital, my wife would kill me if I had to find space for all of it. 😂

Do 1900 salaries count towards that? 🤔

@Kaloudz I’m right there with you, just turned 39, so no worries. It’s more hardcore games than what you’d typically see at a box store. D&D is often associated with it. I have board games that have hundreds of hours worth of content so they’re like RPG board games. It’s a nice change to video games. Games like Gloomhaven and Madara, are good examples if you’re curious.

@Kaloudz no problem, I only learned the term because I’m into hobby board gaming and was getting very lost in forums when that term started popping up. I’m too old to learn new internet lingo. 😂

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year already! This was easily in my top five games of last year, I absolutely adored it and hope to see a sequel one day. 808 forever!

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown on Xbox and still loving every second of Sea of Stars on Steam Deck

@BIG3 I couldn’t agree more! I enjoy a nice long game but I love having a tight, well produced experience that respects my time. 6-8 hours of a painstakingly crafted game will always beat out a 100 game full of bloat for me (not to say all 100 hour games are full of bloat).

This has been my most anticipated game since it was announced, the first was a masterpiece. It definitely looks like it was worth the wait. It releases on my anniversary as well, that day is just meant for wonderful things for me.

It sounds like it’s going to be the perfect length and respect my time, as well. I have GP, but this one will absolutely be a full priced purchase for me, Ninja Theory earns my money.

Please be true! This, Avowed, and FFVII Rebirth are my most anticipated games.

Hellblade and Avowed are all I need.

I’m in the middle of two other games but I loved the demo so I’ll certainly be picking this one up.

It’s phenomenal and one of the best deals in gaming. It’s up there with the Final Fantasy Collection.

Still playing through Sea of Stars and loving it. Also, some Mario Golf on the Switch with my family. I also squeezed in the phenomenal Prince of Persia The Lost Crown demo, it’s Ori good when it comes to platforming, which is the pinnacle of platforming, in my opinion.
