Dang, I just recently bought control UE. I also own NMH 3 but never played it. I'll definitely be checking out SpongeBob and diablo 4.

@Ralizah I want to preface this by saying I've always respected your opinion on here(and NL) and I've had nothing but great exchanges with you. I hope this doesn't change that and I'd love to continue on discussing games moving forward. However there's a lot overlap in your comment there and it goes both ways.

Democrats are removing certain books from curriculum, most recently Dr Seuss books, and adding others which some would say, have certain agendas. At least in Illinois, that is. Sounds like burning books.

Same with voting. A cook county judge made a decision to remove Donald trump from the ballots. That's literally controlling an election.

I felt lied to about the pandemic myself, and specifically, the vaccine. I was told you need the first, then a booster, and another, and a 6th, and so. You will then be protected. Most of the people I know who live by that rule, somehow get covid at least once a year. I have none of that, and somehow ( knock on wood), I haven't had it since Feb of 2020. Trust the science I'm told. But science can only be trusted with certain topics related to covid.

I wish nothing but the best for same sex marriage, and I fully support that. Everyone has a right to be happy with who they choose. There's alot of Republicans who feel that way believe it or not.

And the riots during 2020 were appalling. Innocent bystanders being beaten and robbed just walking home, owning a store, or driving through at the wrong time were directly the work of people on the left. Storefronts being smashed in, shoes, purses, dresses, hoodies ( useless items) all stolen to support a movement. Moms and dads being assaulted for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. People who spent their life savings to open store fronts that got destroyed during all of that because of something they had nothing to do with, disturbs me, and should disturb anyone who works for their money.

My simple fact that I see, is that this country has been worse in the last 4 years than it was the 4 years prior. There's more turmoil, higher unemployment rate, inflation is through the roof on everything, housing prices and interests rate are skyrocketing. I don't care who's in office, I'm just tired of struggling to support a family. Whoever has that golden ticket, is the one I'll ride with.

I'll admit though, it does sadden me to see you say you don't respect others political beliefs.

@clvr we can definitely agree there. Some opinions have no merit. You're splitting hairs with name calling, but ok.

Very tiresome reading the negative comments about the republican party, not just here, but all facets of media. Not every republican is a "right wing nutcase" or an "old white man." There are good and bad people on both sides. Why can't people respect others decisions and opinions with regards to political beliefs? Even if I disagree with you, which, happens quite often, I won't resort to name calling. Just speaks volumes about who you are more than the party you're looking to diminish.

@Balta666 totally get it. It took some time to grow on me personally but then i loved it. Can't say how much i loved xc3. Top 10 game of all time but I never played the dlc unfortunately.

As long as I'm interested I usually buy remasters and remakes

@Romans12 ok glad it's not just me. Some parts In the hotel early on were frustrating due to 12+ enemies and little to no weapons

@Romans12 I'm a couple hours in now. Is it me or are there some odd difficulty spikes with too many enemies in one place at times. Like more than enough to keep up with? I don't mind walking through the streets and beating a few here and there. But when you're surrounded with a crap weapon, you're screwed. Not to mention, if you don't know where a work bench is you're done if your weapons are broke. Happened to me twice now.

So far so good. Only about an hr in. I'm actually playing as I type this. Not the safest thing to do when the city is overrun by flesh eating creatures!

@Banjo- fully agree. My rule of thumb though is if the game is on both Xbox and switch, I buy on switch for the portability aspect. Unless of course it's on GP, then I play on xbox. Any first party or 3rd party stuff not on switch, xbox all day.

I had no interest honestly. To be frank, the ship sections in black flag were my least favorite parts about that game.

Personally, I don't mind them coming to other consoles. Heck I'm a die hard nintendo fan. But, it might be a slippery slope. So im more inclined to buy their first party stuff on their own system before buying it elsewhere. I kind of feel dirty if I play games on GP, love them, but then buy them elsewhere lol. Probably a ME problem though.

Now that's nice. I just DLd dead island 2. I'll check it out as soon as I'm done with gears of war 2 which I'm close to the finish line.

Welp, there ya have it. Favorite of mine. It'll be interesting to see what the Sony fans think about it. It's a 10/10 for me.

Hope they keep it around. I do plan on upgrading to an X of some sort even if it's the mid gen refresh and has a disc drive. I want to start collecting xbox games.

Idk idk. We'll see tomorrow. I'll be buying this game at some point since it's my favorite Xbox game bar none. Just not sure if want to toss money toward it on xbox or switch( if it in fact comes)

Still haven't tried this yet. I'll give it a shot soon but I didn't find something like vampire survivors sustainable honestly so I'm not sure I'll get a ton of mileage out of it.

@XboxistheBestBox yea, it's an easy 8/10. Almost 9/10. Loved it from start to finish. I actually liked it more than RE2R.

You know this is getting out of hand when my non gamer wife said to me yesterday, "did you know xbox announced they're no longer making consoles?" It's all getting a little too wild out there with rumors. I can only imagine where she read that.

@jedinite wow. What a wierd coincidence lol. I loved robocop with the exception of the Ed boss fights . I'm about halfway done with sunset and only an hour or two into arkham which I actually played back on the ps3 years ago.

On switch, Batman Arkham Asylum. On xbox, i just beat Robocop Rogue City a couple days ago, so I've fully moved onto Sunset Overdrive which has proven to be chaotic and fun.

How great would it be if nothing comes to other platforms. Then we can finally put this to bed.

It'll be $20-25 by next month I presume, and then I'll buy it.

@Nighto4 dude they were all hard! Lol. Kiana the forest queen was voted the hardest in the game. Based on a poll with maybe IGN(?) I cant recall, 33% of people had to try more than 10 times to beat her. I was in that 33% 🤣

@Nighto4 second to last or second boss from the beginning? If it's the second to last, that one was tough for sure. I played on normal and even that was tough. I didn't change any damage settings, so I'm still pretty proud of myself lol 😆. I couldn't imagine playing on hard.

I just beat The Lost Crown last night on switch. So now, I'm going to really try and and hammer out Robocop Rogue City and once I'm done with that, fire up Arkham Asylum as I don't want to play too many games at once. For the gameclub I'm playing Sunset Overdrive With the family, I'm playing Illusion Island. We're loving this game. Such a fun little metroidvania.

@eire-shabba i actually like the themes myself. Those colors really pop! But I just can't bring myself to change my hi fi theme.

With how great the game is, I'd feel obligated to buy it on switch if it comes.

@Markatron84 thats your opinion i suppose. There's quite a bit I'd like to say in response to your comment. However, seeing as though I genuinely love hanging out in this community, along with NL, it's probably best I don't get too into it.

I'll be waiting for the price drop on the base game and I'll probably bite.

@Markatron84 well, it's like that age old saying goes, "did you bring enough for the whole class?" In other words, if you do one, you have to do them all. You can't do something for specific groups and leave some out. I couldn't be bothered either way personally, just playing devils advocate here.
