Sea of Stars #1

I'm kind of holding off on anything switch related. Waiting to see if I get some eshop credit for Xmas and I'll more than likely buy arkham trilogy, then start asylum. I did start steamworld dig 2, just not sure if I'm into it.

On my raspberry pi, I'll start Crusader of Centi. I've always heard about this zelda clone, so I want to give it a shake.

On a xbox, Psychonauts 2.

When I first saw this, I was really interested. Then on the second go round, it didn't look as great as I thought. We'll see how reviews go.

I did my time with it. About 40hrs. Like most games, I don't see a need to go back.

More than I thought actually. 23 games this year. And some are collections so I didn't count each individual game. Not bad at all and with gamepass, it could've been a bunch more.

super mario rpg should be finished tonight. On xbox, dead space remake. if I finish both I'm starting Ittle Dew and Psychonauts 2

Also might play some retro stuff on the Pi

It's potentially the greatest gaming feature since saving became a thing back in the day with certain games like LoZ.

Goat Simulator was "my" most played game of 2023 🤦‍♂️. Actually it was my little guy who racked up those hours. My 2 most played were starfield and sea of stars. 460hrs total for the year.

@HonestHick I've been waiting for the gamepass release myself. Unless it comes down to a decent price of course.

@abe_hikura kinda how I feel too. Might have to wait til pay day next week. Also playing super mario rpg, P5T and dead space. I need to at least finish 2 of those before starting BG3

I'd be happy a nice GP shadow drop off some kind.

Hoping Robocop gets a big discount. Maybe GTA trilogy just for giggles. Wwe 2k23, AC Mirage, DMC5, and sekiro would be nice too.

I see RE4R is 50% off. Do I NEED another game right now though lol

@RIghteousNixon exactly. I mean, why not when it's under $10. It's a no Brainer to file it away for future playthroughs.

Re: Dead Space Remake. Even though I've played a couple hours on GP already, and I'm currently doing a playthrough, I bought it anyway. Did the same with high on life/knife bundle.

I still need to play robocop. Just too much to play on gamepass right now.

I finished Metal Gear Solid last night. Overall good game with some hiccups here and there. With that said, I'm starting up 2 games tonight. Super Mario RPG + Dead Space Remake. I'll also continue my P5T playthrough. Good weekend lined up for sure.

@Tharsman yep, for sure. All great points. I just always feel bad about buying myself something around the holidays when there's so many people I need to buy for. Even if I were to hand down the S to my kids, ya know. It's such a steal, I just don't know if I want to spend the money for having a dish drive. That's the main reason I'd even get it.

Very solid lineup. I actually bought rise of the Tomb Raider a couple months back, but cool nonetheless. I'll check out world War z. Wouldn't be surprised if we get some more releases at the game awards.

Sounds like some big news. Might have to at least check out the first game.

Eh, I can always wait on a sale. The first one was fun enough but I don't need to rush out day 1.

My main games are persona 5 tactica and metal gear solid.

With the fam, mario wonder, mario Kart 8, and the double dragon games.

Just 1 big one from nintendo and 1 from xbox

Here's my prediction. Games will be at the award show. To what capacity? Not sure yet. I just know in some form, there will be a game or two there and people will talk about games.

Lots of stuff on switch and Xbox.
Persona 5T on gamepass. Mario Kart 8 Wave 6, double dragon advance and super double dragon and when it arrives? Super Mario RPG.

@BacklogBrad i feel the same. I only played Persona 5 royal. But I'll dive into this as I'm a tactics fan and enjoy what I did play of 5. I think I'll buy persona 4 golden next on switch, and wait for persona 3 reload on gamepass next year. I don't know much about the series other than the 20ish hrs I played of 5, but most say that's the one to play if any. Shin megami I think is more serious from what I can understand. I own IV and V but haven't played them yet either.

@FatalBubbles same here. Sagas chapters and locale were more entertaining for me. I didn't really like the city chapters. It's also just outside my top 5 for the year.
