Since I'm on a mini vacation I only brought my switch with. With that said, just DQIII HD2D.

So dope if true. I'll still play 1+2 from time to time.

It'll be a couple weeks before I dive in. Need to finish visions of mana, and I want to finally try Alone in the Dark. Thankfully that's a short one. I just can't go into another ARPG right after visions.

Not sure Gta VI will have any impact honestly. Unless they release the same week, then maybe.

Having finished Ninja Gaiden II Black a couple nights ago, I'm back to focusing on *Visions of Mana for Xbox, and WWE 2k24

On switch, still slowly working my way through DQIII HD2D

It's been a bit of slog so I might try to hammer this out as quickly as possible to move on.

Man, lowering HP on some enemies in those chapters after I just finished those recently 😳. Oh well. I did it nonetheless.

If I'm being honest, the more I play this one the less I'm liking it. I'm at what I would call the midway point after looking at a guide. So about 16hrs in, mid 20s for levels.

The novelty and beauty sort of wore off for me. What hooked me right away was playing a beautiful looking old school jrpg. It just got a bit stale though. Should've seen it coming, it's whats expected from a 30 yr old famicom game. Still trying to decide if I want to finish it or move onto something else before XCX comes out.

On chapter 5 and I'll try to bang out a couple more tn. Sweet game.

@Kaloudz now THIS is big news. Loved that show as a kid.

Hell yea. Enjoying the heck outta the game. Just wish camera, and platforming sections were a little better. Also a lock on, and witch time dodge would've been cool to have. But they're so minor that it doesn't hurt the overall experience. Loving it.

@xxk7xx I've never played the new trilogy of games. So this is somewhat more palatable and easier to get into if you're not into souls-like crushing difficultly? Either way, I'm going to give it a shake since it's on GP. I've just read this series is hard as hell, so it'd be nice to know what I'm up against before diving in. Thanks in advance.

Nah, I'll just play it when it's on GP. I'm pretty deep in visions of mana, and now I want to try ninja gaiden 2, plus I just bought alone in the dark. So, I'm just hoping I'll even be able to play it on launch day and not busy with other stuff.

@Banjo- impossible lair might be one of the best 2d platformers in the last decade. Definitely top 5. Highly recommend at full price, let alone that price.

I've been waiting for alone in the dark to hit a $20 range. Guess it's time to pony up.

These were literally my most wanted ports. I caved and bought ff7 remake on ps4 but I'll just wait to play it now

Well see what happens! I actually bought the last "surprise" game recently. Visions of mana

Melina did a great job but Troy takes the cake. Indy was the best game I played this year.

@Scrubchub good call. It feels good cleaning house doesn't it? I'm saving $50/ month now with my recent cuts. Gamepass is going to be hard to unsub too though if I'm being honest. I really do enjoy it.

Not really sure I'm making one this year. I'll play what I can where I can. Only thing I'm trying to do this year is maybe stop subbing to gamepass. I'm sort of done with subscriptions. I canceled a bunch of TV streaming channels recently too.
