@Yooka-Laylee you do mean the original dark alliance 1 & 2 right? Not that horrible mess that came out few years ago.That game was so bad it got shut down and can’t even play it anymore.Dark alliance 1 and 2 have remasters on psn and Xbox store.

@badboidre you don’t have to buy go get the new content. Just download the game. On your Xbox Home Screen click the start button while you are on the game and you will see check for updates. Do that and you can download update from that point. I didn’t even buy this game on Xbox. I have played it on ps4 and ps5. But it’s on gamepass. So you can just get the game and all new content with it on gamepass if you never bought on Xbox

@BacklogBrad I found myself playing and thinking I hope the end is near on the prequel missions. I started running right at enemies killing as fast as I could. It just felt flat or something. I just didn’t feel anything like I do when I play infinite or master chief collection. And that female you encounter….cringe as *****. Can’t kill her but I still shot the ***** out of her periodically lol. Takes lot more than fancy armor or whatever gay ***** she said. Ridiculous

I’m freaking excited that ghost war is active again. I tried last Week and couldn’t get in a match. I’m hoping a lot of new people who didn’t get this game before loves ghost war. My Xbox name is DarthFizban. Send friend request so we can rock this game. For me I’ve always felt this is as close to Socom im gonna get now. If maps were a little smaller and had 8v8 with no drones it would be what Socom would have evolved into. Looking for players that use mics this game is so much more fun when we communicate. Most PvP games are but this one it really makes a difference

@bert0503 wildlands is so good. I’m happy to see PvP fills up pretty quick. I hope new people like it and it stays going for awhile. It’s closest thing to Socom I can play on console

@RiverGenie heck yeah. I was just excited to click on ghost war and get into a multiplayer match. Pretty fast at that. I hope a lot of people who didn’t get when came out dig the multiplayer. I love that camo actually works in a PvP game. I’ve had players on other team walk right over me laying on ground. Wildlands is the closest thing I’ll get to play probably rest of my life lol that feels like Socom. I’ve said for years it feels like what Socom would have evolved into. Make little smaller maps and have 8v8 it would be Socom with updated mechanics and graphics. 60fps is so good. Breakpoint has had that but I just prefer wildlands story

@Briarback yeah I don’t know how something that small couldn’t be in this one. How was Cortana a better looking Ai in 2005 than in 2026. That doesn’t affect gameplay but I don’t get it. But it not just halo doing that. Seems like most games are making the femal characters look almost like could be male or female. Like Star Wars outlaws. That is just a whole other problem. But this halo looks great no doubt. Smooth playing. I know infinite is the multiplayer they are still focused on but I’m feeling like they will add a multiplayer PvP to this or a whole new multiplayer game by fall next year. I’m getting near the end of my gaming days lol. 51 on Aug 9. lol. People say there are people older than you playing. I’ve watched some of these older people play like the dude in his 60s playing battlefield 6. Difference is I’ve actually been gaming since I was 6. lol I ve owned every gaming consoles except 1. The Sega Saturn. It was the one before Dreamcast. So I been gaming 44-45 years lol. Lot of older people who play now didn’t get into gaming til late in life. So my point is the need to hurry up with whatever they are gonna do with a new halo multiplayer experience. I bought series x mainly for halo infinite when it came out. I just play my ps5 more because of the games. But halo takes me back to early 2000s more than any game.

@BaldB3lper78 I agree with that. I also thought they might just go 3rd party like Sega did. They are making a console for next gen but I think it’s gonna end up being a niche product. That is if the prices are up in the 1100 and up. I’m just going by this gen. Ps5 around 95 million and Xbox around 38 million. Last gen ps4 right at 120 million and Xbox around 56 million. I figured with 2 horrible gen’s the series would be the last consoles. I got the numbers from the court record stuff when bought activision this gen and Bethesda last. Now if ps6 is like Xbox and over 1000k I don’t see it selling as well as it always has.If Xbox went 3rd party route I truly believe they would have much more profit than they have had. Selling games on every platform. Xbox games will sell on ps. Lot of us Xbox owners don’t buy Xbox games because they are on gamepass. I know some do but I know a lot won’t buy if it on gamepass. I will say if next Xbox does have steam on it like rumors say….im taking out a second mortgage lol.

@BacklogBrad finally someone who understands and not crying about it. Sony has already shown us the numbers that physical isn’t selling as much as people on social media wants us to believe. Token game that is coming out people are trying to say it should come to Xbox that it would sell like crazy and “help”game sales. These people don’t care about the developers getting more sales. That help thing is just them wanting the game on their platform. If it did it would not sell much at all Xbox already barely sells fighting games.physical fighting games wouldn’t be worth the work to put on Xbox. I have series x and ps5. Oddly enough about 85 percent of my playtime is Xbox because friends got series S so we could play sports games. Fight night champion is still the best boxing game since came out. Physical games though have not been selling great for awhile now. It is what it is.

How is it OG Xbox would show players changing seats in warthog but these developers have player just teleport to another seat? Yes small detail but why?

@Coletrain yeah. There has to be some kind of catch for this. Imagine you only buying physical games because of price and never needing to buy digitally. I’m sorry I can’t see Microsoft just losing a ***** ton of sales because of a feature they put on their console. Now I may sound like a moron here. I don’t know how much money Microsoft or any console makes on physical sales vs digital. If it’s the same the beginning of this comment is me being ignorant. Also I’m guessing each disc will have its own unique number so people can’t just buy one physical and let their friends get it digitally from them.If that is true the used game market is still going to go away either way. @Mr-Cage honestly I hate this. I saw that it’s a little over 30 maybe close to 35 and ps5 right at 94 million. This is worse than last gen 120 million ps4 with 56. Million Xbox ones. Xbox doesn’t like to reveal console total sales but the numbers came out during the court stuff. Even though Xbox has never outsold PlayStation its first 2 gens made amazing games. The 360 appears to have been close with ps3 at 87 million Xbox 360 at 83 million. But the sad part of that is 360 launched a full year ahead of ps3 and was less than the dang 600 dollar ps3. If Xbox focused on games like they did with 360 and OG Xbox they could have at least been a little more competitive. But Phil Spencer wanted to play Xbox anywhere or have Xbox be an all around entertainment system. All kinds of ***** instead of focusing on amazing games like knights of the old republic 1&2 on OG Xbox. Elder scrolls 3 OG Xbox and many more. And you bring that up about pc gamers having gamepass. I am curious how many with the Xbox series only selling little over 30 million. The number I saw is still just sad but I saw was close to 35 million. If they do have steam on next Xbox and it is what they say, Xbox will be a niche product. If Xbox couldn’t break 40 million or be remotely close to ps5 sales at 500 imagine if xbox is 999-1200. Ugh

Anyone who thinks Xbox isn’t going all digital next gen is…wrong lol. Sorry. This has been coming on for years. They have slowly gotten us use to all digital systems. Going back to last gen with all digital Xbox. This gen both Sony and Microsoft had digital only. The only difference is ps5 digital is the same system as the ps5 with disc. I’ll never understand why Xbox did what it did with series s. I know it’s budget friendly but the developers should have only had to worry about one set up as for as what the machine could do. Years later they actually release a series X all digital. Who know what goes on there. But I’ve been a gamer since I was 6. 44 years with Every console. Buying physical is all I’ve known til a few years back. I have bought all my games digitally since end of Xbox one X and ps4 pro. Just easier to me. But Xbox will be all digital. If I’m wrong I’ll live

@Schonks ok lol. If that is the case that really sucks for Xbox then. Sony only releases one exclusive a year “moronic comment” and still outsells Xbox consoles. It doesn’t affect me. I have ps5 in living room and my X in bedroom. I have an X for halo. I play other games on it with friends like arc raiders and battlefield 6. But I only bought for halo.Sony seems to be doing just fine though with their one exclusive a year. Also bringing up canceling games is something I don’t think us Xbox owners should bring up lol. You must be new to the console world

Xbox has disc drive this gen and it doesn’t change anything ps5 right around 94 million units and Xbox series around 37 million. Unfortunately this gen may end up worse than last gen. 120 million ps4 Xbox one 56-58 million. Sony has huge games still in works just by insomniac alone. Venon spider man 3 and the really big one x men. If next Xbox has disc drive it still won’t change. I feel bad for younger gamers. I’ll be 51 in Aug. I know there some dudes in 60s playing games. I’m at the end of gaming. I would bet my life some or most these dudes in 60s playing just got into gaming I’d say is last 10 to maybe 15 years. I really think probably last 7 or so really. I’ve owned every console since I was 6. So basically every console released in America except 1. Sega Saturn. So I bee gaming 44 years. So me being near end of gaming makes sense. Younger gamers though. Damn these prices insane. Series s for 500 or 600 blows me away more so than series x being 700. Ps5 and Xbox has good bit of life left in my opinion. Plus with subscriptions on both plus games I buy I have enough to finish out my gaming days with just a few purchases left. Wolverine,hell let loose Vietnam,halo combat evolved,modern warfare 4 and maybe a few others. I’m sure something else will get announced I want too lol. This is just crazy what’s happening in gaming. Like one above said. It’s almost gonna force people to stream games on things where can get the subscriptions instead buying new consoles.

I think they showed plenty enough of gears already. I mean good bit of was shown and talked about. Not like it’s gonna sell well anyway. Yeah I know people will say they are buying it because they support the studios. It is on gamepass and that is how a majority of people will play it. I don’t know what kind of hype is gonna help Xbox at this point though.

Once they start streaming it or downloading to play they won’t.There just not that many people who will be playing a game and say well I got the game already but I still want to drop 50 on it just because. People can say they will all they want but I’m sorry I don’t believe them. With that said it’s gonna be crazy that Xbox biggest franchise and mascots game is gonna sell more on ps5 than it will on Xbox. And I’m not just going by ps5 outselling consoles 3-1. In saying if you took away 50-60 ps5 sales away too make it even on sales,that it still would sell more. And I also believe a lot of that is gonna be because “holy crap I’m fixing to play halo on ps5” feeling. I will play it on Xbox im sure but im kinda in that this is crazy boat. But I have to buy for ps5 because the 6 fiends I play with only have ps5. With it being 4 player co op we just have to mix it up who playing when we do coop. Been gamer for 44 years lol. I’m old as ***** at 50 lol. But I’m actually excited to play it on ps5. Just a odd thing to me

@Millionski I’m excited that steam will be on Xbox next console. At least that’s what I think people with Xbox have said. You already can play steam games on it with that gforce now. It’s in beta so not great. But tells me we will be able play PC games with next console. The old republic here I come lol

@Bears-Wear-Hats I’m not sure what’s going on with Xbox version then because the game looks amazing. Some planets better than others but nothing bad looking at all. I play on base ps5. Game looks freaking beautiful at times.

@Kaloudz well you are in luck. They have a new fantasy game coming. Takes place on earth. The game is actually the size of earth. All players will be scattered all over earth. Said if you want to climb one of mountains it could take months in real time. Just look up Light No Fire. It will blow you away.

I knew everyone was gonna be cool and say they playing other games. Or no black ops for me. Or black ops 4 or whichever number. Yeah. My ass. Especially since it’s on gamepass. Not saying all. But I’m saying over half are playing it. Bunch of cool people lol.
